Time for the normal Saturday morning bike ride but I didn't have a route in mind, so it turned into a get the next cache sort of journey. The ride was interrupted to search nine times of which eight were found, retrieved and signed. One was spotted...about 5 metres up a tree and given I was on my bike I did not have the equipment to effect the retrieve. TFTC to all COs.

Our focus today has been to reduce the number of cars on our "to find" list - at the start of the day we had found about half of them and hope to have less than ten remaining by the end of the day. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Memphis and Friends for the cache and the series.

A fun leap day of events and caches in the area with Mr froghoppin. Much crowds - at the main event - and even many meet ups at nearby caches too!A big old american car, named after my ex... appropriately gone. Thank you GeocachingSA for this cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance CoolJack joined in the fun. And Sebastbat came along too. Thanks heaps for those who made the leaps to bring us the event day Cool---------------- Wink ----------------------CoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCoolIn a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid caches falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps us agile... sort of Wink--------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp Wink ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Wink Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! Maybe not though - as someone actually did read to the end and alerted me to just a project GC badge that requires long logs [:o)] Well at least it's not as bad as finding a mint tin! Leap Year only rolls around every four years. Four years to wait for things to happen that you should have planned before the day is past and gone for another four years. So today is the day and here it is. I do like it when a planned plan achieves its target. Roll on 2028.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. I was out to get some fuel while it was "cheap" and worked my daily cache into the same trip.I heard they might stop making fast and furious movies because they can't afford to fill up the cars for filming. The cache was quickly found in the obvious spot, all in good condition. Thanks GeocachingSA for this traditional cache and series, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3690 on the 24th of October 2023.CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it! Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! This afternoon, I went to West Lakes for business, and I found some caches on the way.
Tried 14 caches in total, including traditional cache, mystery cache, and event. Ended up 13 found/attend, and 1 DNF.
This was the seventh find for the day. Tried 7 caches of the "Gone in 60 Seconds Series". Hello Agelina, Susan, Megan, Tracy, Rachel, Jessica, Sharon.
I travelled from North-East to South-West, which is not a good idea to approach this cache. I made a big detour to get to the GZ.
Found this cache, signed the log book, re-hid the cache, within 60 seconds.
Thanks for the "Gone in 60 Seconds" new cache series, Memphis and Friends.

Joint [FTF] with Otter61 @ 09:37 I had been attending a breakfast event when the chat changed to the latest published caches from the "Gone in 60 Seconds" series. The CO was at breakfast and confirmed they were still unfound at that hour.Otter61 asked if I was keen to chase a possible FTF with him, which I happily accepted. This was the last of three FTF's we persued.TFTC GeocachingSA

Joint *Ftf* with LíB @ 09:37

At this morning’s breakfast event LíB and I became aware that ten more caches in the “Gone in 60 Seconds” series had been published, and the CO, seated nearby, assured us that all were still up for grabs. We decided to give chase.

At just 300m from the last one, it seemed a shame to pass this one by, just a quick walk up the road. This one was an easy find. I’m quite sure that I made LíB miss her appointment in Gilles Plains; I hope she’ll forgive me.

We both enjoyed this start to a warm, windy spring day; thanks for the fun Memphis and Friends, I will complete the set in due course.

Our Tuesday trekking turned into a Wednesday Wonder.
Ttrogg picked up the Rat from the Rat's nest.
We went after a few FTF's before returning to the plan.
Another quick find of an official geocache. Tftc

06-Sep-23
It was time for another Wednesday Wander so with the Rat only today we headed towards the chosen playing area which was mainly west of the city where quite a few new caches had appeared since we were last in the area. But there had been 10 caches published so it wasn't until they had all been taken care of, some by us, the rest by others, before we returned to Plan A. This cache was either one of the planned caches or one of the new ones that just happened to be in the area we were working. All caches looked for were found by one of us or sometimes by both of us simultaneously so it was a very satisfying day with quite a few added to the count. Most were from the new Gone in 60 Seconds Series which was nice for a traditionalist like me, except for Hillary which I found not as easy as I should have. The others were a variety of newish trads, puzzles and letterboxes.
Thanks to Memphis and Friends for placing this cache on our playing field.
Cache #13983 for me.

This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).

I’ve been out on the bike very little over the last 6 months
The days are longer, dryer and warmer now so it’s time to change. Get the legs & body moving and encompass a bit of caching too

A quick find here tonight, log stamped and all returned as found…….all while clocking up a few km on the bike
