Found with catnap777 @5:00pm Hello Jamin my old friend,We came to find your cache again.Because the coords were so sneakyIt took us both so long to seeBut the vision of the solve entered our brainAnd so we cameTo win "The sound of silence".Towards GZ we walked aloneNarrow street off Osdboldstone'Neath the halo of the Hilux lampThe log was dry it was not cold nor dampFor our eyes were stabbed by the flash of a bison brightThe lid was tight. We signed The sound of silence.TFTC Jamin.
9 November 2024 17:02 I will not be silent when asked if dalerious and I needed a hint on this puzzle. The answer is yes.........So many of your puzzles are master's of disguise. The simple truth is in there, but like a Chameleon the answer blends into the cache page, and seeing the answer on how or what to use to solve it, gets blurred with all the other words and phrases. The puzzler gets lost in the haze, and falls in a daze, and the puzzle falls silent. But not for long!A chance chat with a puzzle solver got us underway and the rest is history. No misunderstanding or lack of communication here .Thank you Jamin Appleford for another brilliant puzzle.
In Brisbane for a couple of months coming towards the end of our BIG Lap of OZ in 2023, a spate of new puzzles were being released in Wang, timing was good, as it was some downtime on our travels, so had the ability to make the solves, just couldn't participate in the FTF hunts...We decided today we would make the trip to Wang on a lovely winter's day and reduce our large solved pile...Another well constructed puzzle, logically worked thru the steps required, and a quick find at GZ, TFTC Jamin
Found on a short Vic trip with Roostaman. Thanks for placing and maintaining all the caches for all of us to find, Jamin Appleford, ***MrsRoosta***
Found on a typical Summer day with MrsRoosta. On our way south with a few days stopover.Puzzle D rating is about right. Thanks for the cache Jamin Appleford, ***Roostaman***
On our numerous current trips backwards and forwards to Tumut we decided that short breaks in Wangaratta to search for a few caches would be a good way to break the journey. There were some new ones as well as a number we did not have time to look for at the Mega.Always a great place to visit.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Jamin Appleford.**SKI Pair****
Quite silent here too as it's late in the day. This took some quiet patience on a silent evening to plod through but interesting concept nevertheless. I'm enroute to home base with a wee detour to finally locate a few caches and convert those blue icons to yellow! TFTC.
Another one done and cleaned up. Not being a great fan of puzzles I'm more than happy to get these done. Thanks again
This weekend was out annual Christmas do at Bonnie Doon, this meant I could escape over to Wangarratta to find a few caches, I had seen the puzzles published and as many know I like to keep up with solving new puzzles, thankfully I had them all solved so they were My main target today. I was lucky enough to get help from an old friend who was local to the area and owned a large ladder, we had a great time catching up and just sharing the ups and downs of life. This is one of the caches found today. The weather was just perfect. A nice puzzle. Some interesting stats, out of the 27 caches found there were 17 Micros, 5 smalls, 3 others (that were really micro) and 2 virtual's. There were plenty of spots that would have taken a regular or a large but none were found today. Thanks Jamin Appleford for the cache.
Out and about around Wangaratta, with our caching companions Suscoe, on our last day for this trip. We found a variety of interesting caches, including this quiet hide. Tricky, but interesting puzzle, gets a FP from us.Thanks to Jamin Appleford for hiding caches in interesting locations. 36194
Our last day on Wangaratta and we were caching with our very good friends Phetlern.Today was an around the town area trip.We had been working on puzzles recently to prepare for this day but we were alos looking forward to traditionals, Ad Labs and Virtuals. Thanks to Jamin Appleford
Chook joined forces with The Tritonz and headed to Wangaratta for a couple of days, with the main targets being to find a few solved puzzles and tackle the HSS Basketball Geoart before it gets archived soon.Having completed the HSS yesterday, this morning we had time to pick up a few more puzzles before we had to return home.A nice little puzzle that Chook cottoned on to fairly quickly. And a nice easy find at GZ. TFTC and puzzle Jamin Appleford.
With the HSS geoart now completed, we were able to concentrate once more on the local puzzles that had mostly been solved collaboratively with chooknchunk and OzHockeyChick. Unfortunately OHC was unable to join us due to work commitments but we still had the pleasure of caching with chook this morning before parting ways as our mini break comes to an end. Another clever puzzle that we have not come across before that took longer than it should. Chook was able to get me started on the puzzle allowing me to solve it just the night before our getaway. At GZ we had no such problems and we were able to sign the log with chook before heading off to the next cache. Thanks Jamin Appleford for the mystery placement.
The penny dropped a while ago as to what was needed to solve this one. Just needed to sit down and apply oneself to the task. Finally got it properly sorted on this AFL Grand Final Morning and took ourselves for a morning walk to find it. Plenty of traffic around to interrupt the silence. SL at 9am #10,358 Such a nice morning, we took the long way back home. Thanks for the exercise of brain and body Jamin.
Found with PapaGrouch on a trip to Wangaratta to pick up some solved puzzles. A quick find after a lengthy DNF at the last cache. I had to deploy a little bit of a natural tool to tease the cache out of its hide as mine were still in the car. An interesting puzzle that took a little while to work out. TFTC
It took a quick look by the wordsmith to figure out how to start and it wasn’t long before the answer was found. Glad there aren’t any magpies here so it could be a nice, safe and quick find! TFTC
A disappointing morning attempting four FTF's of some newly published caches. I had already solved one and we solved another three last night. After dropping Rob's car for a service we continued on with high hopes of success. It was not to be unfortunately. Our names are on the log sheet of ONE on these. Two DNF's after two long searches and one unobtainable. Not sure why I thought we would have a successful run.
{FTF} Our third attempt at getting a smilie and success at last. This was a very interesting puzzle that we were both surprised to make headway on and get some plausible numbers and a tick of approval So relieved to find a cache at GZ and add our names to the sheet.
Thanks Jamin Appleford

Not sure we solved this the correct way, but solve it we did.
Another micro to search for, but not so many spots to search here.
{FTF}
Thanks, Robmc.
