Unable to find a replacement container without a huge outlay. Thank you to all who share this passion.
Oh, no. Looks like it's been muggled. Will look around further afield to see if container is around.
What a beautiful spot for a quick walk and a lunchbreak. Nice find, everything in great condition.
It's always a good spot to stop and give your eyes a rest!Found on the road getting ready for the JLWE. Another fun find along the never ending journey. Thanks to tassieexpat and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! Thanks tassieexpat for showcasing this area and contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
Met the cache owner at GZ! She was checking the cache. Another nice spot and a nice easy find.
Sir_spectre and I had hoped to join in the fun of the Mega in Canberra but unfortunately life got in the way so we planned a trip for a few weeks later. We might have missed all the great events and catching up with geocaching friends from far and wide but at least we got to find lots of great caches still.Any cache that needed some love got it, if possible. Thanks
Needed to get some more finds in this LGA. Quick find. last find for the holiday. Found with Mogni. Myself and mogni are headed off to canberra on the " I missed the Capital GeoBash Mega " holiday, since last minute family problems came in to play and we had to adjust our plans by a few weeks. On the way over we targeted multi's, wherigo's and puzzles to make sure we had 25 in each or at least close to that total ( or more ) as possible, getting as many new New South Wales LGA's as possible, the 17th most favourite point NSW cache and every cache size in New South Wales. In the ACT it was getting 2 of the 5 oldest letterboxes, oldest wherigo in Australia, 2nd oldest earthcache ( with a side trip to get the oldest earthcache of course ), and ACT oldest cache too. I also hosted a CITO and planned on getting every different cache type i could and eevry different cache size as well. I also needed 9 more virtuals this trip to get my virtual count over 100. Finally canberra was far enough away from from house to complete the well aged well travelled cacher 0 to 1000 kms with a cache every 10 km's ( i only need 7 more caches to complete )Leaving the ACT it was going via Victoria to get there last active web cam cache and slowly getting a total of 20 finds in each LGA i passed through if i had enough time plus also hosting a CITO in Victoria as well. A busy 11 days. Trust me by the end of the holiday you would have thought the 6 meter ladder weighed more than 13 kg's to amount of times it was used or carried up hills or over creeks. If your cache was found with a broken container/lid it was replaced or if the log was full it was replaced or a extra log if the container was big enough ( except for nano's, do your own maintenance on nano's.
Found at 10:23 AM GAFF1.A "regular" ? Well that is something that is welcomed in this district of "micros"!! This one was however a bit too exposed and was spotted straight away. Pushed it in a bit to conceal it a bit better. Thanks to tassieexpat
With Featherwaite we're on our way home from Canberra after the GeoBash Mega over Easter. On our way we set our route to take in LGAs that I have no finds in. Day 1 we made it to Wodonga and Day 2 we arrived in Terrick Terrick NP and Day 3 we were home.Unless stated this cache is in good condition.Apologies for the generic log.TFTC
Found with Team Waldron on our way back to Adelaide after attending the Capital GeoBash mega event in Canberra over the Easter weekend. Thanks for the cache and series tassieexpat!
Was just about to give up.. after getting wet at the tap lol turned around oh.. got ya..
On our second day of our current trip to Adelaide, we headed from Ballarat to Kaniva, caching along the way. This was one of the caches we visited in Dimboola. We last visited Dimboola not long after the first caches in this series were published. At the time we missed one, and it was a priority for this visit. Unfortunately we were behind schedule and so had to limit our cache hunts this afternoon. The positive outcome is that it gives us another reason to return to Dimboola.Accurate coordinates and the cache size led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks tassieexpat for this cache and the series. We enjoy visiting Dimboola.
I was heading up to Dimboola for a CITO today and did not realise it had been cancelled Friday evening until I was checking what time it was planning on starting. It was cancelled due to the heat and the total fire ban as well.It was going to be hot picking up rubbish so it was for the best.I was in Stawell at the time and as I was in no hurry to get there now I decided to do a couple around there first before heading to Dimboola to do the newish trads up there and any others on this side of the road.Arrived at Dimboola and then opened the Geocruisers door and the heat hit me.They even had a market on in the Main Street as well.I met the CO last weekend and mentioned that I will be back but I didnt think that it would be this soon. Now lets see how many I can find.I had a quick wander around and the cache was soon spotted. The garden is surging in this heat. Thanks tassieexpat TFTC.
Find 4629 on February 28, 2024Day#2 on Fergzters roadtrip to the Great Leap Forward Mega Event in Adelaide. Today's stretch was from Taylor's lake near Horsham towards Adelaide. Nicely camo hide. All is well with the cache. TFTC tassieexpat
Picking up some more caches around Dimboola, while still leaving some for another visit later with ilook4geo. This one was a quick find as there were no muggles around. Thanks for the cache go to tassieexpat.
11:30A reasonably early start from home and we were on our way westward toward Adelaide for The Great Leap Forward Event. With four eyes doing the spying we soon had the cache in hand. Thanks to tassieexpat for hiding caches in interesting history. 36552
Finally attempting to get some logging under control. We were in the area as there is an event in SA which we will be attending. We had to go via Bendigo so it was a bit of a roundabout trip. Thanks for placing the cache which was found without any issues.
Thankfully a quick and easy find of a lovely sized container.Co Ords were spot on. TFTC on our way to Adelaide for Mega Leap event, via Bordertown tonight.
Quick find as passing through, grabbing a few each time I pass through here.TNLNSL Thanks
Mrs Shifter decided that there was a couple more caches still to be found in town so she went for a walk alon after afternoon tea and found them, this was the first of two. Thanks for the hide tassieexpat.
Quick find here. Nice garden and gazebo.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. We were surprised to find this lovely little park tucked away here. Again thanks to the great co-ords that the CO's have obviously taken time to ensure are correct, we found the cache container in the first place we looked. SL TFTC
Heading back out of town for Nhill this was our last cache to find. We had serious cache blindness here having looked in the hiding location and missing it! It wasnt until the second look that the cache revealed itself. Thanks tassieexpat for the placement.
Found while on a day out and about. Thanks for the cache tassieexpat. I blame my poor eyesight for not spotting it sooner!
Found by Mary and David at 10:10. A quick and easy one. He was indeed a wonderful volunteer and friend to the whole community. Our thanks to tassieexpat.
Find # 13075Off on a full days solo Caching adventure around the Western Vic area.I've had a half baked plan around the area and it was time to go for it. Horsham, Dimboola, Jeparit, Rainbow and then follow a Silos Art Ad Lab heading home.A great (top of) 20deg day, to be out n about. With a bit of wind to kick the dust n sand up. A quick grab made from a logical hide. Dimboola, in my plan, was going to be a 1 or 2 grab, then head off.... well, one thing is, my plans don't always go the way intended when flying solo. Yep, I managed to go for all here and had fun doing so.TFTC tassieexpat
