After collecting the information I did a detour to another cache before heading to GZ for this one. Funnily enough I had had a cursory look at this location to see if it might be a good hide for one of my caches, but then dismissed it. So it took me a while to make sense of the hint. D'OH! Quickly signed to log and headed back to the car. By now it was very muggy. Short Trip Away Day #3 [25/11] of 3Day three of my holidays (and day #3 of 3 for my trip away) saw me leaving the motel early to start the day. I started by heading over to Fyshwick for a couple of caches over there. For nice easy-ish ones. Three in the Fyshwick Forrest and one over in the park next to Maryborough St. After finding those ones, I headed over to Belconnen to find a couple of others and then onto the Mall for lunch. While at the Mall, I also did a game of 10 pin bowling because why not? I got a score of 120. Big Grin Once I finished up in the Mall, I started making my way home. I found the next lot of power trail caches along Dog Trap Rd. I have decided on doing these caches section by section given, I drive past/through here so much. From there, I headed home while finding one more in Binalong before getting home. It was a great weekend away and I quite enjoyed catching up with everyone. TB visit. Some caches were signed as JM. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. Big Grin TFTCs! Big Grin'Just under 800m walk over to WP from the parking coordinates, sure why no?' I said to myself. I have driven past this one and it predecessor many time since placement but I had never stopped off to get them. I had some time today so I stopped off to get them. I collected the required info from the WP, and found that cache. Then it was time to head over to GZ of this cache. I got started looking for this where, I thought it was but I couldn't quite see anything but that is when I got a bit more elevation and looked elsewhere and that is when I spotted it. I'm glad I'm not any shorter otherwise I wouldn't have been able to reach it. It has now been signed and replaced ready for the next finder. Thanks and FP given. Big GrinP.S. It just makes me wonder if there is anymore along this nature strip as there is enough room for at least two (maybe three) more caches. I understand that there could be caches I haven't solved yet that are hidden along here but I certainly am curious. Hmmm...?

Evening trip to the hallway of horses. Had the required info for the multi available from my last trip (when I found the original Hallway of Horses on 6 August 2022), thanks to some careful recording of said visit, so Ive had GZ sitting there for a while. Satisfying to tick the sequel off. Felt good to be back in this pleasant, peculiar strip of publicly accessible land. Just me and some roos around tonight. No horses to be seen (in fact Im still yet to see a horse in this hallway maybe with a few more cache deployments ?? and some more visits Ill get there).A fun bit of terrain to get to the hide, and a good view from the spot where the hide becomes reachable. Unique terrain element too, which we love to see. All good with the cache. Thanks Loci612 for the multi and bringing us back to the Hallway Smile. A fave point for another unique and well executed addition to the game board. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their long lasting, and ongoing connections to land, sea and community. After a fantastic three days Traveling to and from Sydney for an exhibition, I was now back in Canberra for a few weeks before my next jaunt away. Today started with my weekly visit to Civic for coffee with friends. It looks like there are others going on amazing trips soon. With the morning entertainment out of the way, I headed off to do a few caches today towards my daily caching targets. First was the pole cache at Parliament house before heading to Mount Painter for a very overdue walk to the top for the Labs and the newer caches in the district. That makes four days in a row with long walks, my feet have not stopped hurting yet.I sort of managed a loop up and over Mt Painter and down the far side. I came at this from the wrong end, but at least I went to the WP first, even though I have been there before. On to GZ and wow, I failed badly here. I was right on at the correct spot but failed to look in the correct direction. I then spent ages looking elsewhere, before getting a nudge in the correct direction from a previous finder, how dumb do I feel ...Thanks for the cache Loci61246292.7 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 100 Finds Achievement A#64**Albida**

Found this with deni_f today. There was a little trepidation to go to get info but glad we did. What a great cache. A fav for me. The only down side was that we couldn't find the trad at WP1. Still a great find. TFTC Loci612

Find#1995Me and Shaneo58 are down here in Canberra from the Hunter Valley targeting certain caches to complete the 3x3 challenges set out by Team737. On an absolute horrible rainy day we found and signed this cache. It had cleared up by now. We found the way point but could not find d the traditional cache. This was a favourite for the day. Log and cache in good condition. TFTC

#4493 I almost cant believe that I found the original Hallway of Horses over 2 years and 8 months ago! This also means that it was one of my daily finds in my currents 3+ year streak. So it would seem quite apt that its addition also now becomes part of that streak. After returning to a familiar place the required links were counted and accepted by Certitude, thereby issuing me with what I required to complete this sister Multi.Cheers Loci for preparing this Multi and bringing me back along this hallway once again.I even took a moment to refresh my memory and relocate the original just for prosperity. TFTC.

Parked and walked over to the chain and counted the links, wrong answer and only allowed one more attempt ! Read the description again and it all became clear so went off to the actual correct chain and soon had the right answer, though I counted the links thrice to be certain. Not sure I could access it but tried and really not as hard as it looked. TFTC.

Cache 10675 on 16 Sep 2023.

Headed back into this weird little section of land again this morning with Fox and ZQX to work out this multi. Last time I walked to the end, the grass was head high and not much fun to walk through. Today however the kangaroos had done their job and the grass was short and green so it was a pleasant and easy walk. Got the information at the end, the others found the trad and we walked back to GZ, where Fox did the retrieve and I supplied the essential pen. Then breakfast in Aranda, yum!

Thanks Loci612 for the cache and the fun!

Found with Fox in Jox and AngelG27.
I spied the chain. I counted the links correctly first time. Certitude said yes and off we trundled to GZ. A nice multi with which to start the day.
Thanks for the geocache, Loci612.

Weaving through to WP1 no snapping slitherings were spotted. Warm and sunny the grass here will grow fast. Details gathered and entered correctly, moving quickly to GZ for the quick find, sign and replace. TNLNSL TFTC

With just a couple of hours free this afternoon to cache near home this one was an obvious choice for us to meet. A beautiful walk so very different to how it was during the drought.

Come and enjoy the short walk that has a lawn virtually from the carpark to WP2. There are also glorious views all around as we are much higher up than I'd realised. Quick find thanks to the hint. TFTC Loci612.
