Took a while, because searched the wrong place initially. Nice views, thanks!

TFTC! This type of hide is something I always think would be a great idea, but this is the first time I've seen it.

27-Aug-24
I tried for about 15 min, got lots of stares from muggles... then felt the social pressure to move on...

22-Jul-24
Very early morning adventure after an even earlier airport drop-off. The GPS took me for a little walk, but once it settled, it was a quick find. I was glad the coast was clear! TFTC!!

21-Jul-24
Very clever hide

We spent a little while looking before looking at the hint. Oh, of course! TFTC!

looked for quite a while with the family, unfortunately, possibly due to being very new at geocaching, did not know at all what to look for or what everyone else was talking about. might come back again when I have more experience haha

I had been 'saving' this cache for my next bike ride out to Sumner but as I was driving home from the latest Sailgp Day1 non-event (that I had cycled over Evan's Pass to watch) I decided that I needed to find a cache to console myself. Parking just opposite GZ the cache's good coordinates made it a quick find once some strolling mugggles had passed by. Thanks for the cache Dracophyllum.

Found it!! Perfect one to find after introducing my nephew to this. Love it. Thanks!

15-Dec-23
After reading previous logs, I had a reasonable idea of what kind of hide this would be. As I approached GZ, my idea looked promising and yes, there was the cache. TFTC.

14-Dec-23
We were only there for a few minutes before we found the cache..TFTH

04-Dec-23
Once my brain kicked in it was a quick find

We found this on a bikeride.

Was on my way to a luncheon in Sumner and stopped near here when I ran into Noseynell and JDScout out on their bikes. Didnt know this was here and had to rely on info from Noseynell. After a quick search when she mentioned something from a previous log I suddenly clicked and yes it was there. Thanks for placing and the reminder of the many of this kind I found overseas

Thanks for hiding this cache Dracophyllum I appreciate it. We met Kiwi Cam nu near gz. So we pondered together and found it. I love finding geocaches while on the bike with JDScout. Found before morning tea

Walked along the newly opened section a couple of days ago and forgot to find this one. Back today and while waiting for the coast to a clear a fellow cacher stopped who was just cycling by for a chat. Liz was very excited to be able to walk from Redcliffes to Sumner!

Tried this one on the long weekend but there were so many muggles even on the cold Sunday. Tried a few places but felt I had out stayed my welcome. Came back today and muggle free and with a bit more info from a friend made a quick find. Great to see the new pathway is open now so good. Thank you for setting this cache up. TFTH

18:09 It was the most satisfying bike ride to here from CBD. Didn't even lose my breath and kept at solid average 35km/h easily. The wind just carried me. On the way back though... Barely could hit max of 20 and exhausted... Not many of this type of caches in NZ, but I keep hearing how it's everywhere in the US. Cool to find one, but it is a very open location, and thankfully there were no muggles around at the time. But also very visible from all the houses around.Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, Dracophyllum!#9990

Wow, this is a fun little cache to find- easier than I expected. I have seen these hides before, but only online. The horrendously windy day made the area muggle free so little stealth was required, though I imagine it's not always that way. TFTC

30-Sep-23
Came out in the cold blustery sunny afternoon to make a quick find and sign of a clever cache. Weather helped by making it a very quiet gz so no worries finding and signing. Thanks.

29-Sep-23
Aha! Seen one of these before, doncha know, but still wandered back and forth until the penny dropped. Tftc.

28-Sep-23
Took a few minutes to remember similar caches then it was an easy find and replace. TFTC

27-Sep-23
Not an instant find for me despite reading Warbut's log. But after poking here and there a lightbulb moment occurred, and hey presto, a cache on hand. Yay! Thanks for the hide, Dracophyllum. #9809

Really enjoyed this!!! At GZ, which for us was quite accurate, had a flashback to pre earthquake days and these exact kind of caches that I found in busy ChCh businesses. So I really walked straight up to it. Filled in the log and reminisced .Thank you D a fav from us.

***FTF*** 1.52pm. We were down walking the esplanade at Sumner in the cold rain, watching the even more mad surfers and swimmers, when this published notification came out. With "costal" in the name, thought it might be close - sure enough it was. With the weather, muggles were not a problem, but the GPS was - not settling on anything closer than 7m, which gave us numerous places to check. The find, that went to MacPacDad, was not what quite what we expected, from the description. TFTC Dracophyllum
