Wow! After I worked out what the hint meant it dawned on me where the cache was! Glad it was a quiet windy day otherwise I could imagine the nearby playground would make getting this cache pretty much impossible

Found with the bravery of 2pods - what teamwork- one balanced while two held on. Lots of muggles around today which actually made it a bit easier as we blended in with the play. TFTC!

28-Dec-23
Found it with 999hunter and huntress. While hunter was looking for the cache, i came up to him and asked if there was a hint, after getting given the hint, i suggested where the cache may have been and it was there. Hunter then received the cache, we signed it and then took some photos on the cannons. TFTC

Lunch of Day 3 of our Christmas to New Year 2023 holidays. What to do with the family and the Mother In Law who can barely walk? Visit old stomping grounds to relive old memories and go Tree Climbing. We stopped here after lunch and just started playing on the cannons. We have been here a number of times and have photos of the kids at different sizes climbing on then. After our climbing and taking photos, we were sitting on the cannons when I mentioned the hint, and 999HK said it would mean there, and that was when I saw the cache, exactly where 999HK said. She couldn't reach it, but I could being taller. Well played. Thanks for the cache, Team737.HunterPS. Huntress said she would log a favourite point, but I'm not sure if a non-premium geocacher can, so I'll drop one off for her.

I've been a few times to ground zero here. Not that I didn't find it, I spied it on the first outing so instead will use the write note option. First and second time, muggles outwaited me. This time round I came, wimped out then came back and still called it. shows how often I walk away from a cache i can see. This time everything was wet, raining and blowing a gale. The thought and distinct possibility of coming a cropper is sadly too high. I'd already be on tippy toes arms fully extended. Yeah nah. And I've climbed some pretty knarly trees for caches. This time round the d/t doesn't tip the safety balance scale enough to warrant a go.

When I arrived at GZ, there was a family encamped right on top of the north gun, with an older woman sitting on a walking frame, a couple of younger men having a good long natter and two toddlers enjoying climbing all over the gun. So I decided to check out the park's other facilities and, just when I was about to give up, they started showing signs of moving off. Even then, it was another ten minutes of almost-moving before they finally departed and I was able to get close enough to spot the cache. Hmm.I started climbing but, with my wonky sense of balance and a strengthening wind that was becoming increasingly gusty, I baulked at standing tip-toe atop Queen Victoria as I was unsure I could complete the task without topping off and coming to a grisly end on the pavers far below. So for now I'll leave this on hold, but maybe sometime in the future on a calmer day I'll try again. Or maybe someday there'll be an event in the park and I'll be able to call upon a taller and better balanced friend (Mr Knexpert perhaps?) to help out. Thanks anyway for bringing me to this nice park.

TFTC and a very sneaky hide. I was out geocaching with Deni-f yesterday. We arrived at the park searched everywhere and scratched our heads with the hint. Then Deni- f spotted the hint. We then both spotted the cache at the same time.Thank goodness I was with Deni-f . Ran into the Garbageman clan while we were there.

FTF!!!

Saw the cache pop up and headed over to Hamilton to try and get the FTF. Wasn't long before I was joined by Grub Fred and we both had a search. After figuring out the hint, GF spotted the cache. Being taller and younger, I retrieved it and we both signed the log, making for a great joint FTF. TFTF!!! #2163

Find No: 9161. Arrived to find Mr Knexpert lurking around, we finally found Queen Victoria and spotted the beast, went back to the car for some retrieval equipment but didn't need it thanks to MK, we reckon you should up the ante on the terrain rating, good team effort for joint #FTF#, thanks for the cache Team737!!
