Coordinates changed from:S 31 31.912 E 115 41.071Coordinates changed to:S 31 31.911 E 115 41.064Distance from original: 34.3 feet or 10.4 meters.Updating coordinates toS 31 31.911 E 115 41.064which should be more accurate.
Looking forward to returning soon and doing some more cave caches.Day trip north for a maintenance run and grabbing a few caches along the way.TFTC Finntiger1234 this is find #17091 for us.
Judging by previous logs, the coordinates are likely incorrect. I will attempt a better reading soon.
Never realised how many times I walked so close to this cave while doing nearby trails in the past. Although my basic assumption is every step you take here is probably above a cave of some type. Found 12m closer to the cave than the GZ, but spotted it before I got there very quickly. It's easy to see why this was closed given the entrance is being held up by a wooden strut! Very cool peeking in none the less. Tftc
TFTC! Never knew there was so many caves in Yanchep NP, signed as Internals.
Found after reading previous logs and hence redirecting my search. Fascinating location. Happy Easter. Tftc
Trobat! Encontrado!Today I had free day at work so I decided to come again to Yanchep area and do some trecking. 2 goals for today, the main goal is find some wild Emus. The second goal is sign some geocaching on my way. Only one was a great succes, you can guess...Was extremely warn today and was so hard to walk, but a free day is a free day. Walking from Yanchep following the Haunted House Road until Two rocks crossing this last rea through Nowhere land. Was a great day with some suffering momento because the weather. This cache was one of the signs of the day.Found It!Hint said all you need. Moving a bit to find the cave and then with geocacher eyes you can find out the hide. Moltes grcias. Muchas gracias.
A short stroll down from the gate and a quick find. Wouldnt want to drop your pen by the cave entrance, looks like it would travel a long way. TFTC!
Parked on Wanneroo Road and made the walk in. My co ords were a little out which had me searching the wrong host.. but a quick read of the logs took me closer to the cave entrance and a quick find was made . TFTC
A day out with Cockburn Crew attending events, driving to wilbinga then to Lancelin and then made our way south from there. A good day/night out and around 250km travelled. Some unique hides and places seen thanks to the local COs for placing and maintaining these caches Have a FP for the location here
I wasnt able to make todays event in Victoria Park to farewell PilotJen, as I was doing a crew transfer down to Nambeelup for the firies, who were mopping up after all the fires over the weekend. After finishing that off, I met up with the rest of the Cockburn Crew at Stirling Station to do a way north late afternoon geocaching run.Ripper spot for a cache here. One of those sorts of places that if it wasnt for the cache I would have never known it was here. Add fav for the location. Thanks Finntiger1234!
Co ords were around a dozen meters out. Go further down the hill to the cave entrance This was our favourite cache of the evening so were awarding a favourite point. Very interested in what youre showing us here. Potentially an option to have some earth caches to highlight these natural phenomenon. Out and about with the Cockburn Crew for an afternoon caching run with a stop in the middle for the PilotJen farewell event. We headed from the southern suburbs all the way through to Wilbinga and surrounds to cleanup the large number of recent publications. Thanks to the local COs for a great days caching.
Out and about again, after a event in Vic Park the Cockburn Crew headed up way north - Wilbinga then back down the coast to Clarkson. Some four wheel driving and some small jogs to a couple.Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today, but a few DNF too. Thanks to all the COs for the hides I found.
A couple of days have gone since publication, so on a nice day with volunteer parkpass in hand , megawat60 and I went off to this cache and he made the find. FTF at 10am. Thanks for the clever cache and bringing us here!
