This my last Geocaching trip away in Tazzie for 2023, i have plans to grab about 10-12 hides before checking into my accommodation at 14:00, having a frothy or two then going for the usual walk to grab some more on foot before having tea. After approaching from the wrong side a quick search of the stumpy area revealed a cache with 2nd place medal colour which is what i spotted.Sat myself down nearby and signed the log at 09:43 on Monday 18 December 2023. Not happy about scrounging through this lovely garden area, especially when I started striking blackberries. No luck today. Working with Geo Maggie.
I think we were too tired and too hungry to stop and look at this for very long
I was not aware that this reserve was here as it is never seen while driving past. The cache was eluding me until I approached from another angle and GZ was revealed and the find was made. Thank you DannyFindsCaches for the challenge and the cache which brought me here.
Sneaky placement here!! When not in the obvious place we radiated our search out. I radiated way too far but Mr Beetle found it closer to the obvious spot fairly quickly. Thanks for the challenge of finding this one.
This one HAS stumped me, I couldnt spend long looking due to muggle activity. I will come back when traffic is not so busy
Thanks to the CO for checking on this cache and for the additional information. We went to look for this cache again as we returned from the event in Oatlands. There were many places to look within the accuracy range of the GPS.after a few minutes the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks DannyFindsCaches for the cache.
When we arrived to search for this cache we found that part of the stump had been dug out and a large section of the stump had been broken away. We had a good look around the stump without spotting the cache. We then searched through the pieces of wood and loose dirt but again nothing was found. We expanded our search area incase the cache container had been thrown away from the hide but nothing was spotted. A DNF for us today.A CO check may be needed. It would be sad to see this cache disappear after only 2 finds and 2 days in the game .
Im 5 and I found this with my mum sqwash before I had my own account. Just here to log a few recent ones I've found with her. Tftc
Must have been close but muggles around so will have to come back and have a better poke around.
