Found the cache after a brief search. Interesting views.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is saturn's day the twenty first day of the septimus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit cooler today. Not so windy today. A few showersWith the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. A most enjoyable morning spent caching on the backroads north of Kapunda and south east of Riverton.A couple of trucks busy in the quarry. Many thanks for the hide 4WHEELAUSSIE
Found while out caching for the day with gridge98.Today we headed up to the Barossa and surrounds to find a few caches of interest. After a cold morning, it turned into a beautiful clear sunny day. Not too warm, but ideal for caching. We replaced the cache container and logbook here. Thanks 4WHEELAUSSIE for the cache.
Today e.gregory1 and I headed out to the Barossa Valley for a days caching,We aimed to find most of the new Jigidis in the area and any others along the way.A quick find was had here and the cache is all goodThanks for the cache
Wow![?] One of our SA reviewers doesn't like sleeping, it seems!New caches published at about 2am[?]I woke up unexpectedly about 5.15am and happened, stupidly, to look at my phoneLOTS of new Jigidi caches all over the placeJigidis were solved, coords updated[^] and I figured I'd have enough time to race out and find maybe one or two then get back home by 9am for the support worker[^][^] Best laid plans of mice and men!I did get home before the support worker left![^]Thankfully mobile phones allow for communication while travelling, these days The support worker still did his tasks[^] while Rex and I were having fun in the sunshine[:X]The first log was signed at 7.20am and the last log signed at 1.10pm All up 11 caches were found and amongst the finds were 8 FTFs There was also 1 DNFDNF! I looked for quite some time, to no avail Even rang the last finder but still no luckSaw the trucks going in and out at the quarry, thoughI'll keep an eye on this cache, to see if I was blind or it really is missingTFTC 4WHEELAUSSIE
A short afternoon caching before heading towards home.We saw the quarry views. We found the cache.TFTC 4WHEELAUSSIE.
Waking up to overcast skies and the occasional spot of rain, we decided to just cache in the local-ish area today. A tour of back country roads and small townships. Not a big number day but the quality was right up there. Thanks to all CO's for their placement's.#9343
Something special or unusual goes here:Plenty of work being done in the quarry today. [^] Man the ants that call GZ home are both big and vicious. Didn't stop me from grabbing the cache and moving away to sign it though. The Generic Bit:Another Tuesday Trek with just me and Mrs. Sewer Rats. I had itch to retrace last Tuesday's Trek up through Morgan to Waikerie for lunch, cruise back via the Sturt Highway and clear out a few more caches. That itch just needed to be scratched. We made it to Morgan for a late lunch and made it to Waikerie around dinner time and back to the Rat's nest as the sun set. A few more laughs, a lot more caches and yet there are still that require yet another trek!**SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks 4WHEELAUSSIE for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Quick find on way past... love country back roads. Definitely dry, but bumpy today!TNLNSL Thanks
Another tuesday caching adventure, caught up with Mattycat for a northern circuit of caches, although the cat had already found this one we made the detour to make the find as well, found in good orderTFTC 4WHEELAUSSIE
The dynamic duo set out for Monday meander.A quick find for the dynamic duo today.Interesting views. Tftc
It was just the dynamic duo again this week and after picking up the Rat from her nest it was time for some caching. I had my eyes on a newish AdLab in Kapunda but there was also the Pirate Project caches, some multis from a couple of favourite series and quite a few trads that one or both of us wanted. This was one of the caches found on another nice day out caching, this time without even one DNF Quite a few years ago I had the privilege of meeting the lady this drive is named after.A quick find in an interesting area. Thanks to 4WHEELAUSSIE for placing this cache on our playing field.Cache #14086 for me.This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Cant wait!!****
Lookout Quarry, here we come! 0940... at least 16 hours post pub, where were the hoards! I'd call that a "micro" size, but no worries it has our stamp in it now {FTF} with Jack on this lovely roller coaster road with a view on a sunny Kapunda Saturday. Looking around half expected to see Fred and Barney hard at work. The machines certainly hadn't taken the weekend off! Another enjoyable place nearby. A cache a day, keeps something away... Our sincere appreciation for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance 4WHEELAUSSIE . ---------------- ----------------------Country caches and crazy company! On the road again, with Jack driving and caching along the way wherever we go[^] [^]In a hazardous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid objects falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps the boredom away --------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching! - Flu finished fun!)) Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside Special thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! [:o)] C'est fini... For now... ... until next time! PS:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... be there or be backward! 29.2.24 It's gone MEGA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------And don't forget to put the June Long Weekend in your diary for 2024 too... it'll be out of this world
