Mindful of the previous searchers experience, I carefully approached GZ. The impressive campsite was indeed intimidating, but I managed to find the cache, and it was not in direct sight of the tents, maybe 10m away (however my gps was telling me to go closer). If you approach it from the right path you can avoid being seen. Overall though, it was pretty uncomfortable and maybe the CO should look into reinstating this one somewhere else. TFTC anyway!

Unfortunately couldnt find this one as some homeless people were living very close to the cache location.

Another drive to Deloriane on another mission, so decided to stop by a few caches on the way again. I found this cache on the way back. Found the cache fairly quickly due to it being open and pointing straight at me. Either a muggle or another cacher has left the container open, so I had to drain quite a bit of water from it before barely signing my name and returning the cache to where I think it would be hidden.I am sorry sqwash, a maintenance visit is probably in orderTFTC

Today we further explored our back yard and finding caches along the way, and this was one of them.We concentrated on finding the caches that has been published since our last visit and collected the required info for the final cache. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks to the CO for your cache placement.

Thanks for the cache sqwash. My sons are too old for me to be familiar with this series, but it does sound cute - anything with dogs is a winner!Today the GeoGSP's and I were heading out for an explore and stopped nearby and went for a troll to find this one. Excellent container and cammo. Another one of the series found. I was hoping to complete the series in the next day or so, but one of the series required some 'height' and 'teamwork' so completing the series will have to be my next visit to Launceston

This my last Geocaching trip away in Tazzie for 2023, i have plans to grab about 10-12 hides before checking into my accommodation at 14:00, having a frothy or two then going for the usual walk to grab some more on foot before having tea.I love it when i walk straight up to a high star D cache and find it immediately. A nice creation was discovered. Sat myself down away from GZ a bit so Muggles won't notice.Signed the log at 17:10-ish on Monday 18 December 2023.Replaced the hide as found with no Muggles about.Grabbed the special number and made my way to the next one... 21261During our great trip around the world we arrived in Australia after visiting Canada, US, and some places in the Caribean Sea and Central America as well as Fiji. Besides lots of sightseeing, we can't do without caching, of course. That's why we also passed by this place, searched for the cache, found it and successfully signed the logbook.Thank you for hiding and maintaining the cache. Only thanks to dedicated owners is this beautiful game possible.Wir danken alle Cache-Ownern fr ihren Einsatz, denn ohne die Gemeinschaft ist dieses tolle weltweite Hobby nicht zu realisieren.

Checked on this one with geomum Sqwash and corrected coordinates

03-Nov-23
Coordinates changed from:S 41 28.046 E 147 8.126Coordinates changed to:S 41 28.048 E 147 8.128Distance from original: 15.5 feet or 4.7 meters. From feedback, I have modified the coordinates slightly. GPS bounces around but I have done another waypoint averaging and amended by 4m. From feedback, this may still be a distance away, so I will try again to average it over a few days and then post again if needed.

Mr Beetle waited in the van while I went to look for this one. Could have done with his help as this one was very tricky and took a long time to locate.Previous logs indicated that it was about 8 metres from given GZ and that helped. But Mrs Beetle was on the case and this nicely constructed hide was eventually found. Thanks sqwash and a favourite point for this cache.

This is a great geocache. I nearly got to it yesterday and didnt realise. I was feeling very tired, so I decided to give up. Today I came back with fresh eyes and have found it. I am glad I had my walking stick with me otherwise I wouldve been flat on my face

This was a DNF yesterday, but found today with GeoMaggie after PAF. A good hide. Found, stamped and replaced, with Maggie and Mollie, my GeoWesties, while roaming around Tasmania with our motorhome Mylittlebus looking for content for our TASMANIA ALL OVER facebook page. Thanks for placing this cache (and others), keeping us on our exploring toes.

We came to Launceston today for another purpose, but we took the opportunity to look for some caches that have been placed since our last visit. We were hopeful, but not confident, that we would have time to look for caches in this series. We had seen Paw Patrol in the TV program lists but, until this series was published, we did not make the effort to find out what it was about. Having seen an episode or two, we can understand why minisqwash is a avid fan.We were pleased that we received the updated coordinates before arriving at the location. However, despite the update, it still took us a little while to locate this cache. The cache was very well designed and constructed, although it did contrast sufficiently from it's immediate surroundings to be recognised. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks minisqwash and sqwash for this cache and the series. Before leaving we took a number of readings of the coordinates and the average of six readings was S 41 28.048 E 147 08.132 - 9m from the initial coordinates and 5m from the updated coordinates.

The last geocache for the day . No luck. Have to come back another day. Neither Angus 88 could find it.

TFTC. My phone was bouncing around at this location so I had to widen the search area and with the hint I found the cache about 8m from posted coordinates

No find for me today.

With some assistance from the CO I was able to make the find of a well camouflaged cache. Thankfully a blue frown is now a golden smile. A blank log so I claim a FTF at 13:23. Thank you for the assistance and the cache. A favourite point awarded for this cache.
