We're visiting friends in the area, and I decided to wander off for a walk to collect a couple of these little treasures! Great spot, TFTC
Am staying in the area for the week and NZIceman has come down for a few days too. Decided to check out this area this evening before dinner. Spotted it while searching another spot. Thanks for the cache.
Could not find. The GPS took us to the middle of the grassy area. Searched the trees but no luck
Been meaning to get this cache for awhile but the stars havent managed to align until today. Nice spot and yes glad it has a reserve sign. Cache all good TFTC
Saw this one just got enabled, and we had a dot day, so me and the youngest team member shot out after dinner to grab this one. A reasonably quick find here as we were pretty sure what we were looking for. Good coordinates, and hint. No problems at all. Returned as found. TFTC!
Finally managed to place another cache in the location. Lets hope this one stays for a while longer
Sat down and took a rest in multiple locations but this one could not be found. Please can CO give it a check - maybe I've just run out of geosense juice for the day...!
It appears the cache has gone missing. Have disabled it until I manage to replace it.
We needed to get a cache today and this was the closest to where we live. A nice small reserve that we often drive past but have never stopped. Quick find with cache in good order. TFTC.
Leaving Mrs at home with the pooch for some peace and quiet, the lads headed off. Eith the "not so wee one anymore" navigating, we found the first one of the day pretty quick. TFTC
At first when I was looking its was hard but I checked somewhere and found it TFTC
After years on our bucket list and three cancellations due to Covid, we are thrilled to finally be here. Following several cruises we flew from Sydney, Australia to Wellington, New Zealand to begin our next adventure. Picked up our rental vehicle and will be driving, exploring, hiking, and caching both islands for 3.5 weeks. A nice little park without a muggle in sight. We were adding the ink to the log moments after arriving at GZ. Thanks for adding to our adventure today, Nukeworker and Racquetball Girl, Arkansas, USA
After all the rain I thought I should get out and about on the scooter and this GC was nicely placed on my chosen route. After a methodical search I soon had the goods. TFTC Buzzybb
Should've brought a picnic...such a nice little reserve. Great find with sarahbee20 leading the charge and locating the cache once again. Tftc
Found this morning with kathykaches and the mini cacher in her pram. Should have brought a picnic! Thanks for the cache
Walk past here most days so thought the geo dog and I would grab the cache. A nice quick find and sneaky but didn't have a pen so took a photo. TFTC
**18,946**Heading to Maketu to visit family and as we needed to stop by a supermarket, we thought we would extend our trip slightly and collect a couple of caches. This new placement was calling for us to collect it, a nice quick stop here and thankfully no muggles around, so a quick find. TFTC
Teri and Mary from the USA came to visit our New Zealand friend, Libby. Got her to join the hunt and her due diligence she put her hand on it. Fun to do together.
With Mum and niece My brothers worked nightshift overnight and were dog tired when they got home. We decided to put our lives on hold and let them have a quiet sleep. Lets go for a drive! It began to rainThe weather was holding in Tauranga. After doing a few things Mum wanted to do, we launched into some caching. This was first on the list and looked simple enough on paper We checked all parts of the object at ground zone, but we werent feeling it. As weve been given to moaning about it lately, our fingers are not the delicate type that slot into small spaces. We phoned the help-desk It didnt take too long to sort this one out. My niece was able to bring this cache to light. Thanks Buzzybb. TFTC.
We had some free time today so it was put to good use Geocaching ..as we began our adventures the rain came down happy to say it stopped as we arrived here and we were able to search unhindered for the cache.. thanks Buzzybb for the nice tidy placement replaced as found ..it is great having some caches to find in this area
Couple of cars parked in here todayBut nobody in site Married down search area and found cacheTftc
Another nice little park to visit. Judging by the track marks, you are free to drive around on it, or just park there!! Shame the weather has packed in, yet again, so no sitting and relaxing in the sun. Nicely tucked away cache. Thanks for bringing us here, BuzzyB
Spotted this one this afternoon so decided to pop over. Was cheeky enough to drive right to the seating spot.Sat down &started feeling.Wasn't long before my fingers detected it.Thanks Buzzybb, all good in a nice spot.
Bonus of working from home, this popped up so grabbed the dog & off we went. Got to GZ & there was already some people looking so obviously we were looking for the same thing. If I had come in the car I would have got the FTF but 2nd is ok @1.24pm. So once they had found it, it was my turn next. Sneaky little hide. Great day to get out in the sunshine.
FTF We were home watching a movie when we received the alert for a new cache being released close by. We stopped the movie and jumped straight into the car. Arriving at the cache site with no one in site we hoped we might get the first to find. We neared the cache and were rummaging around when another person arrived at the reserve with phone in hand. Thankfully our fellow cacher waited while our clan eventually each located the cache, signed and returned. TFTC
