TFTC. Nice spot to stop for lunch anda toilet break. A lot of Ks to travel today. Not much time for hunting. Had a look, but not a thorough search. Theres always next time.
Heading to Euston for a week of Regent Parrot surveys - with some time to cache as well. Had to stop to break the drive in Balranald and I grabbed some lunch . A quick walk around town for some of the new caches since last visit (has been a while). Never visited this spot in all the visits so thanks for the new spot. Cache found on Second look on the obvious spot.TFTC Mooreboys66
A great history lesson at the old goal. A straight forward find head high. Tftc
After reading a few logs we decided to adjust our search area and made a pretty straightforward find. Found after a short break on our way to Mildura and grabbed a coffee up the street and a cache on the way past. Interesting spot and story or two. Thanks for the hide.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Making our way to Broken Hill for Mundi Mundi Bash. Today we moved from Hay to Euston. We managed to grab 2 caches along the way with the caravan on tow.Grabbed lunch at the bakery whilst here. Pies, Vanilla Slice and Lemon Curd tart.TFTC Mooreboys66
Chooo ooo [Found] on the way to Lameroos Ludicrous Legwarmers JLWEvent! Nice old jail.. Coords about 8m out but found after a couple of laps of the building! Thanks Mooreboys66!
We were nearly beaten here until we checked the logs, and yes it was about 8metres from where the GPSr wanted us to be.Moving day today as we traveled from Mildura to Hay. We stopped at Balranald for a look around, to search for a few caches and have lunch at the bakery. Then back on the road again and on to Hay. Both appear to be older towns but with some great buildings and history.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Mooreboys66.**SKI Pair****
Very strange as we found two containers nice and snug side by side. Signed one replaced as they were. TFTC
Cache was unfortunately missing. I have replaced it with a new cache and log. Happy hunting.
Would also like to add that unfortunately gps coords are 5-8m out. Will try to fix if possible.
Couldnt find this one but did enjoy our visit to this lovely welcoming town very much and a little disappointed the discovery centre closed so early being a weekend as I wanted to go back in and listen to more information! Dang!
Caching in the area.A quick find on most caches, some taking longer than others.Signed and replaced as found. Many thanks for placing this cache, Mooreboys66, for us and others to find.
Now that the main reason for our journey was over and multiple caching trails were completed it was time to venture home. Our Mob had gone separate ways. Only three teams left now us, Rapidlywild and The Drovers. After parting ways with The Drovers we continued on our journey home picking up any caches that crossed our path. This one took longer than it should have. Signed and we were back on our way. Thanks for the hide Mooreboys66 and thanks for a fun adventure Rapidlywild
Plans have been in place for a little while now about a convoy from the Canberra Mega to head over to SA and finish off what currently stands of the On Your Bike series. Today being day 6 of the trip away, the final day, todays convoy consisted of The Drovers, FurfacesLL and myself. As we made our way from Mildura to Canberra, we collected some more caches along the way. We had these solved before heading this way when we noticed them on the map near our route. After finishing the "Getting Hooked On Geocaching" series, FFLL and I got back on the road towards home. So we said our goodbyes to The Drovers and off we set. Noticed there were a couple "new" caches in Balranald so we made that our next break location. This one took longer than it should of.... the caching eyes were just not playing nice here. But eventually FFLL located the cache and we soon had our names in the log. Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance Mooreboys66 and thanks FurfacesLL for another fun trip away
3rd time lucky and with someone elses co ords we found it in a last ditchh effort before heading back to WA
Spent a while looking where the coordinates said before heading to the other side of the building and checking there. And that was where we found it. I took a reading of S 034 38.402' E 143 33.915'I found your D1.5/T1.5 Micro Traditional called Discovery Precinct- Old Balranald Gaol on 24 March 2024. It was find #18787 for me. Thank you Mooreboys66 for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of New South Wales.
Something special or unusual goes here:Like everybody else kept widening the search and eventually looked in the obvious spot and Anymules found the cache. I had looked there a couple of times before. The Generic Bit:The Capital Geobash Adventure 2024. Day 2: Balranald to Wagga Wagga. It had only been 12 months or so since Anymules and I traveled this route across Hay Plain. In that time Balranald had 5 new caches but it turned out today was going to be a DNF day for us. Corrected one DNF from last year but added 3 more. As usual we followed the unfound boxes until it became a dash to our overnight digs....again. ***Thanks Mooreboys66 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Found on our canberra journey. We wander through the land, grabbing caches and seeing the sights even occasionally catching up with friends sign of the times A good day was had while grabbing these caches with lots of miles covered Thanks for placing them *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Looked everywhere we could think of even to other logs expanded to 8metres still couldn't find it
Day 2 of my travels heading across from S. A. Mega 2024 towards Barrington Tops before making my way to the 2024 Canberra Geobash. Nice old building here. A typical cache not in the foliageThanks Mooreboys66 for placing this here, contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy.
Played in the geraniums for a bit. Poo. Then decided to move 8m away like some others. Yes. I too should known better!! Found on the Mega Capital Geobash coastal loop via Adelaide - Barrington - coast to Mexico City loop. A lot of caches and white line fever was sweated out. Thanks Mooreboys66 and clear skies from TeamAstro. ?? Cache the planet! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Adelaide Leap Day trip. Day 1. Canberra to Balranald via Gundagai, Wagga Wagga, Narrandera and Hay. I managed to get away almost as early as I wanted and was in Gundagai just in time for a thunderstorm and morning tea. Next stop was Wagga. I did the Labs at the RAAF base and a few of the new caches across town to try and meet some of my targets. Then after a quick lunch stop and fuel, it was time to get down to business and drive the rest of the way to Balranald. Lots of smoke and haze over the plains, until two thirds of the way to Hay, and it just cleared up. You just have to love weather. I checked in at Balranald and walked to one of the new caches here and found some dinner before retiring to so some logging.I think I walked around the goal twice before my third look at the cache location allowed me to see it. Wow, I should know better to check these out properly before moving on.Thanks for the cache Mooreboys6645545.10 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Aotearoa Deluxe A#475**Albida**

Just hanging round Balranald on our way to Sydney. Thought we would catch some caches. Very surprised to find this newly published cache. I did ask for a little help from cache owner as our gps were not tracking well. We registered 6 metres out. Thanks Mooreboys66 our first interstate, #FTF#
