Logs
There was no container, just the paper log sitting on the ground near the bush. I've pushed the log into a hollow of the tree (with the bush in front of it). Suggest replacement container and log required.
The container has disappeared, so the log was just sitting on the ground. I placed it in a hollow of the tree but I didn't have anything with me to replace the container.
That took me a while. Dont waste your time looking in the spiky bushes. I put the paper in a plastic bag for drier keeping. TftC
Which tree? Which bush? Ah, found it!TFTC team rodda.Striker and Runningman222.
Today, I found 1 multi cache, 1 Adventure Lab location, and 4 traditional caches. This is the first traditional caches I found today, while I was in the area. With the help of hint, I found the cache. Signed the log sheet. Thanks for the traditional cache, team rodda.
This cache was found after a short hint. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks team rodda for the cache.
One of four caches to the southwest of the city to make up the numbers for today. CPwanderer has been here ahead of me and the cache is still warm! A pretty easy find here thanks to a generous hint, and the colouring on the cache. As others have noted, the cache lid is broken and its no longer waterproof, so Ive covered it up as best I can in readiness for the rain event later today. Thanks for the cache team rodda.
Out caching on a beautiful Saturday avo, this one was found quickly but dose not have a log so we replaced it. TFTC
Found this and I have messaged for maintenance as local wildlife has chewed it.... but thank you!
Used the coordinates from a past finder, which actually match the clue, and gradually found the disassembled pieces of a cache. Both frowns off the map. Repeating OzGrumpy's coordinates here as a public service to frustrated cachers: S 34 57.395 E 138 34.573.
A caching day out had been organised with Doctor Owl as we headed to the western suburbs where we both had caches that hadn't been found. We had a fun day, found a few previous DNF's without adding any more which is always good, as well as some cool caches. Found ourselves near the airport and had lunch at a convenient cafe before continuing and then a nice milkshake to end the day before we both headed our separate ways.We used OZGrumpy's coordinates which made much more sense and soon found the cache in pieces. The log sheet was full so we put a new one in the cache and put it all back together. Thanks for the cache team rodda.
Things finally aligned and I was able to get myself to Adelaide for the Mega. Even better my buddy Spiffy- had made the trip too so we teamed up for some adventures. This cache was a must do as we had done one and 3 and couldn't have a gap. Decided on the likely spot and was soon in hand. Thanks to team rodda for the fun and the adventure.
Here from Melbourne with Fleabag for the Leap Day Mega and after some fun at the main event and after getting the Web cam caches we randomly looked for some others and this was one of them before Fleabag had to head to the airport. This little series were the last 3 before heading to the airport and no trouble was had finding any of them. Thanks team rodda for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Day #6 Leaping Forward AdventuresI made it to Adelaide, finally! Today I teamed up with Posums to tick off some of his missing LGAs and find some local caches.A quick stop here although the parking was tight. So tight we couldnt get in or out. Thanks team rodda for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in late Tuesday night then packed the Geowagon and headed off to SA early Wednesday morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Well after crossing the border the other day and staying in Millicent, Wellington, Cape Jervis, Kingscote and Im now in Adelaide for a week.Well it is the start of Mega week for me and lets see how I go.I met up with Roaming Howie for the day again (he must be a sucker for punishment) and the main target for the day is LGAs for me and anything else on his list.We found somewhere to park the GeoRanger and off we went in search of this one.We looked there and we looked here and we soon cscme up,Thoth the cacheThanks team roads TFTC.
Out for the day with Chookster, we decided to do a bit of caching interspersed with a bit of shopping. This was a quick find once I stopped looking in the wrong places.TFTC team rodda
Naughtybunny and I went out to grab a few caches while looking at some shops nearby. This was the fifth out of 11 for the day. Was good to knock off another in the series. It took a while to find this but eventually we had it in our hands. TNLN. Cheers.
Big thanks to OZGrumpy's log to help point is in the right direction. TFTC!
After our experiences with the previous Everyday caches we didn't spend too long looking here - quality always wins out over quantity.
Another one that we didn't have any joy at. Cache blindness must have set in after the first DNF in bushes. Will have to come back another time. Thanks anyway team rodda.
Searched around but given the last 2 hides, the inaccurate coordinates and the prickly bushes the trio gave up fairly quickly and went elsewhere.
Another fine Tuesday caching the 'burbs with Froghoppin, today Sebastbat came along and Jack tagged along too! This was one of our several finds. Thank you team rodda for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance ---------------- ----------------------In a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid lumps falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps us agile... sort of --------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Cache carefully and make sure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Clean as you go and cache the countryside Big thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in nice safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun for all Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! Maybe not though - as someone actually did read to the end and alerted me to just a project GC badge that requires long logs [:o)] Well at least it's not as bad as finding a mint tin! Did you get that... stop putting out rusty mint tins, just stop it, now!!! C'est fini... For now... ... until tomorrow! PS:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... or is it backward... it takes an extra day to get to March 29.2.24 The Mega Leap Event of the year. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------And don't forget to put the June Long Weekend in your diary for 2024 too... fun and funky finds
Another Tuesday adventure with Mattycat and Sebastbat, back down to the city for todays playground, sneaky little hide that took the three of us a while to spot, fortunately Sebastbat zeroed in on the hideTFTC team rodda
3rd time lucky!! Was nicely tucked. Would say more on the tree than the bush. But Tftc
Something special or unusual goes here:Looking for this in the wrong bush to start, then went to where I though it could be and it was. The Generic Bit:Another Tuesday trek around for myself, S.A. Sewer Rats and Ttrogg [^] We headed down the Port area again to grab some solved puzzles and any other caches we came across. Another fun day with only one DNF And that was on a previous DNF. Good grief, why do I do that to myself! ][B)][B)]**SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks team rodda for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Initially I wasnt sure which tree, but after a little hunting I found the cache. Coincidentally its bin night tonight. TFTC team rodda
We went to Glenelg by train and tram to meet family for lunch. We stopped our continuous caching days when we had to put too many $$$ in the tank. Being seniors we have free public transport. Win win. Cache at no cost!
Was over this side of town to have some bodywork checked. When that was completed noticed this nearby newish traditional and had to find it before heading home.A quick find here. Thanks to team rodda for placing this cache on our playing field.Cache #14173 for me.This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Great HideThanks team rodda for the cacheJames0116Saturday, 11 Nov 202312:51:18pm ACDT3897
Found this cache, after the nearby neighbours went inside. I often parked at this spot to catch the tram as its disability park that we required always seemed to be free when we needed it. It was a quick find and sign and we were on our way again.
I parked pretty close to this one, but not as close as the nearest car in the off-street parking. I searched both bushes at GZ and found nothing. I thought outside the box and wandered 12 metres away, to the other size of GZ and found a far better case for the cache description. The cache was quickly found, even in the dark with torchlight, thanks to the last person who used bark camo. For me the coords are S 34 57.395 E 138 34.573. Thanks for the cache team rodda, find #9091 at 8.13pm
Found on my way down from the Hills to attend the South West Breakfast 11011 event. Thanks for the cache team rodda!

Parked car within metres. Took me a little while once gps settled. Replaced under covering of bark. Decided to walk to the next few. Tftc
Quick find with good coordinates and accurate hint.Busy road this one, but managed a park within 20m of GZ. A tram went past too.TNLNSL Thanks
Yowch! For a while there I was searching in the wrong set of trees and found nothing but sharp pokes courtesy of prickly bushes! Returned to the car for the reinforcement of my proper torch over my phone one and looked at the hint. Well theres a lot of those, really!! But what, perhaps, does our cache owner consider to be a bush? Maybe my definition is far too loose. Some more hunting and yes! Cache in hand, log signed, little trinket added for the next finder. TFTC!
Quick find here today on my way past This morning after a breakfast event in north Adelaide I decided to head out to find some caches around the city before being in the western suburbs finding some caches that were newly published. Thanks for the cache
Quick find on a bike ride around the area. Nice hint and placement. There is plenty of names on the log scroll on day one.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. **Joint FTF with skuzzybear at 12:15PM** I was heading south to my parents house after attending Jolly0's beachside event this morning.I felt absolutely dreadful as my overnight migraine was slowly creeping back but since I would be driving past here, I might as well stop to find it.Just as I pulled up, skuzzybear pulled in right behind me. It was good to see her here too, an absolutely legend of the game.We walked to GZ and the cache was quickly spotted, a nice bright colour too.We high fived each other and soon after, Cheezel1961 rolled up as well. We then went back to GZ so he could also find it.We talked for a while, the pain was increasing in my head but I enjoyed the company so I stayed for chats. Thanks team rodda for this traditional cache and FTF, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3660 on the 14th of October 2023.CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it! Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**
Joint FTF with pineapplegoldy Pulled up directly behind pineapplegoldy and we searched briefly for the tiny critter. Clues in description, hint and coords all served well to finding this cherub. TYFTC SL TN LN and then as we were leaving there was a slight outburst from a vehicle and we realised there was a 2tf arriving in the form of Cheezle1961 as we were walking to our vehicles!
Found it with Limbage but this princess took a tumble, watch out for soft ground.
Found with Princess Juzzy on a cool afternoon, after having been at a winery and saw the cache before we headed home. Tftc
