Thanks for this easternmost cache on the Tassie mainland. Found by the Aussie branch of Dobie's Pride on a cool and breezy afternoon.
TFTC. The lighthouse stone work is amazing with more great views.Unfortunately I didnt bring a pen with me so couldnt sign the log. Scojohara
Amazing location, thanks for encouraging me to walk down the track and check out the rocks and the tidal pools. TFTC
Today we were supposed to be climbing Mt Cameron but it was incredibly windy with rolling storms passing over the state so we canned that plan. Instead we headed to the coast and other than the massive winds it was a picture perfect day for caching. Had a packed lunch at Ansons causeway which is now underwater and the road closed. We encountered many downed trees but thankfully nothing too big that we couldnt drive around.Spotted an echidna, wombats and a huge sea Eagle today. This was our first find of the day, the wind was incredible here. Luckily the cache was in a more sheltered area than the lighthouse. Obviously I took the tricky route to the cache and then found the path on the way out . Good job this cache is tethered, husband made the find here. TFTC
Today we further explored our back yard finding caches along the way, and this was one of them.We concentrated on finding the caches that have been published since our last visit. Great views were had from here, a nice day and an easy walk to GZ resulting in a quick find, thanx Budgietas for bring us here!We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks to the CO for your cache placement.
The weather was excellent today. Not too warm and cloudless sky. The only bad thing was the bloody flies hanging around your face. I took in the view and a few pics before heading for the cache. A quick search and I had the cache in hand. Made my mark in the log book before heading off for my next adventure. FFTC
Our NEW ZEALAND - TASMANIA - AUSTRALIA JOURNEY takes us to beautiful places and provides us with an incredible number of wonderful moments and experiences.Occasionally we also visit a few GeoCaches along the way.On the way to the Deep Creek campsite..., we visited the historic lighthouse. The red rocks on the beach are beautiful. Thanks to the exact coordinates..., we were quickly able to sign the guest book....Thank you for placing, maintaining and caring snapfish2 from SwitzerlandPS: Translated with the Deepl app
Not the easiest, not the hardest. Have to say, the hint was next to completely useless on the helpfulness scale
Today I had to do a dunny run to St Helens as there are no dump points near where my little house on wheels is parked and it also gave me a chance to grab a couple of caches along the way that I wouldnt have been able to do if my little house was following me.An amazing view from here on a somewhat calm day at sea. In fact, Im sure I even seen 3 or 4 yachts possibly sailing in the Sydney to Hobart race on the horizon. A magical view and now the 3rd name in the logbook.TFTC BudgietasKeep smiling
Heading home after our trip away for the winter. Stopped nearby last night so we could grab a few around this area.Another great location along this coastal area, with some amazing views. Needed to do a bit of searching but eventually made the find. Thanks for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Headed out to NE Tas today to find caches which have been on my unfound list for way too long. The round trip covered 675km over 12 hrs.Last time I was here the site was gated off with no entry. This time was able to drive into the lighthouse.Great to see the old cottages being well maintained.Headed out a hard to see track initially but was quite obvious once on it.Accurated coords led to a quick find with cache in top nick. No other log entries so a bonus ftf.A great spot with awesome views.....another fav point here. Many tftc Budgietas....thoroughly enjoyed...xheers ST.
