Today, I found 1 multi cache, 1 Adventure Lab location, and 4 traditional caches. This is the third traditional caches I found today, while I was in the area.Parked on the other side of the road, and walked to GZ.Oh, the cache is out of reach. But no problem, I had my geocaching kit in my car.I use 2 tools to get the cache and replace it. Log sheet has been signed. Thanks for the traditional cache, team rodda. Now I completed to find all 3 caches in this "Everyday cache" series, within about 10 minutes.

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Heading down south to collect our van after its service, and made sure that I was early enough to stop by and find a cache or two. Headed to GZ, and parked opposite, and spotted the cache from the car and knew what TOTT I required to retrieve the cache. Into the back of the car to get a small elevation device and an extension arm. Wandered across the road and quickly retrieved the cache and extracted the log. Signed and replaced the log, then replaced the cache using the TOTT again. Time to now go collect the van and take it home.Gratias pro cache team rodda

We saw this cache as we stopped the car. Then came the issue of retrieving the cache as neither of us climb. Then we found a suitable item on the ground and we were able to retrieve the cache. After signing the log, the cache was returned using the same tool. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Team Ronda for the cache.

Searched everywhere and also trying to be very considerate of the foliage. The house owner came out and challenged me. Wasnt very understanding. I get that might make people quite concerned so will take that into consideration. Cant say I rate this one

Owl has been too busy to cache and that had to change! So she met up with JJ52 for a day of caching, fun and frivolity, with the added bonus of a robot cafe! They were in the area so decided they might as well redress a DNF. Quickly done once the coordinates were ignored and the clue adjusted. In the open this time so an easier find.

21-Mar-24
A caching day out had been organised with Doctor Owl as we headed to the western suburbs where we both had caches that hadn't been found. We had a fun day, found a few previous DNF's without adding any more which is always good, as well as some cool caches. Found ourselves near the airport and had lunch at a convenient cafe before continuing and then a nice milkshake to end the day before we both headed our separate ways. After a previous DNF we stopped again and this time the cache was soon found. Thanks for the cache team rodda.

Things finally aligned and I was able to get myself to Adelaide for the Mega. Even better my buddy Spiffy- had made the trip too so we teamed up for some adventures. This cache was a quick find on the way to the airport. Thanks to team rodda for the fun and the adventure.

29-Feb-24
Here from Melbourne with Fleabag for the Leap Day Mega and after some fun at the main event and after getting the Web cam caches we randomly looked for some others and this was one of them before Fleabag had to head to the airport. This little series were the last 3 before heading to the airport and no trouble was had finding any of them. Thanks team rodda for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Quick find here, and lovely to meet a new Caching team - Koetsiers13 - and have a chat about all things Geocaching!TFTC Team Rodda

24-Feb-24
Naughtybunny and I went out to grab a few caches while looking at some shops nearby. This was the third out of 11 for the day. It's surprising how many you get when there are a few clustered together. Was great to meet another geocaching team as well - Koetsiers13. Had a great chat about this game and if I see a "Chess Life" car around while caching, I'll know what's happening Wink. TNLN. Cheers.

Not too much trouble with this one. The logbook is a little damp at the top, but not too bad. TFTC!

Found by Olga at 10:10 am on a walk with LunaThis cache is less than 200m from home, but was published while we were overseas. After a 7 month absence in Uni's case, and 12 months for Medusa, we are back. This is our first find since returning to Australia from Spain. We then went on to walk a route I have taken many times whilst walking Luna, and which allowed us to find in total 7 caches all published while we were away.

27-Jan-24
No joy here. And not a fun search - people were coming and going all over the place.Way back, in the good ol' days, caches usually had some significance. A visit to a cache meant visiting somewhere historic, scenic or quirky. It seems nowadays there's a cache without any significance on every corner. No wonder my enthusiasm for caching has waned.

27-Jan-24
We felt very exposed at this one with muggles watching us. In the end after quite an extensive search without spotting any cache we decided to leave it for another day. Thanks anyway team rodda.

27-Jan-24
The first of a bad run. Felt very conspicuous searching near people's homes with muggles popping out everywhere. Did a reasonably thorough search, more because of Owl's target than any sense of enjoyment, but the next step was to dismantle someone's well-tended vegetation, which the trio declined to do.

Another fine Tuesday caching the 'burbs with Froghoppin, today Sebastbat came along and Jack tagged along too! This was one of our several finds. Thank you team rodda for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance Cool---------------- Wink ----------------------In a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid lumps falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps us agile... sort of Wink--------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp Wink ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Cache carefully and make sure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Wink Clean as you go and cache the countryside Big GrinBig thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in nice safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun for all CoolOf course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Wink Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! Maybe not though - as someone actually did read to the end and alerted me to just a project GC badge that requires long logs [:o)] Well at least it's not as bad as finding a mint tin! Did you get that... stop putting out rusty mint tins, just stop it, now!!! TwistedRazz C'est fini... For now... ... until tomorrow! I confess this is my THIRD visit to this cache. And I finally found it turns out I was searching the wrong %^#ing set of bushes. Someone had put a couple jacaranda flowers in there, causing the logs to begin to absorb moisture. I removed them. TFTC.

Another quick find. Slightly larger this time.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log.
