Logs
The log crumbled in my fingers My apologies for the dismal piece of paper I put in there but its signable. Nearly lost the magnet! TftC That cache is posted.
Today, I found 1 multi cache, 1 Adventure Lab location, and 4 traditional caches. This is the second traditional caches I found today, while I was in the area.It is a straight-forward find. No need to reveal the hint.Signed the log sheet, and put it back. Thanks for the traditional cache, team rodda.
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Heading down south to collect our van after its service, and made sure that I was early enough to stop by and find a cache or two. Stopped at GZ, and after a short bit of feeling and looking, the sneaky little SOS was located. Took it back to the car to extract, unroll, and sign the log. Funny paper as the pen would not work, but eventually got the name on the log. Rerolled the log and reassembled the cache and replaced as found. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Team rodda for the cache.
Tftc. Paper was very waxy and hard to sign, I also suggest bringing tweezers to pry the log out if you have chubby fingers haha
Coordinates changed from:S 34 57.545 E 138 34.586Coordinates changed to:S 34 57.545 E 138 34.583Distance from original: 13.2 feet or 4.0 meters.Cache got drenched in its old location, so I moved it to better cover
In Adelaide for a nearby appointment and as usual I arrived stupidly early....so just time to grab this one! Thanks for the adventure!
TFTC, had to add more paper as the other pieces where a bit waterlogged
After over seven weeks on the road, I'm back home and finally catching up on all my logging.Caching in South Australia was fantastic, so many good hides to find, and we found ourselves zigzagging all over the place doing lots of geoart but of course ran out of time to get everything done on our to-do list. The majority of caches we found were in great condition and well maintained, which is a credit to all the CO's who placed them, so thank you.Our logs were mostly signed as 5 for QLD to save room on the log sheets, and no doubt, we'll be back again in the future
In Adelaide for a couple of weeks.Another busy day - here there and everywhere. Again signing as 5 for QLD.A quick park n Grab.Log signed and cache replaced as found on March 8, 2024. TFTC, team rodda
Settling into another phase of our southern journey our travels taking us to get some more challenges and some heletWill be checking short look if I qualifyCaching with and signing as 5 for Qld. Unicorns.TFTCache team rordda
Things finally aligned and I was able to get myself to Adelaide for the Mega. Even better my buddy Spiffy- had made the trip too so we teamed up for some adventures. This cache was another quick find on the way to the airport. Thanks to team rodda for the fun and the adventure.
Here from Melbourne with Fleabag for the Leap Day Mega and after some fun at the main event and after getting the Web cam caches we randomly looked for some others and this was one of them before Fleabag had to head to the airport. This little series were the last 3 before heading to the airport and no trouble was had finding any of them. Thanks team rodda for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Naughtybunny and I went out to grab a few caches while looking at some shops nearby. This was the fourth out of 11 for the day. This one was found very quickly and was good to knock off another in the series. TNLN. Cheers.
Dr Owl made a quick find here, I'm surprised this very visible cache has lasted this long. Thanks for the cache team rodda.
I haven't done much caching yet this year so today was a welcome day out with Doctor Owl and sushilord for part of the day. We didn't have a real plan and just kept going from one cache to another that we all hadn't found. After dropping sushilord in the city Doctor Owl and I headed to the western suburbs with the aim of her reaching an important milestone which was duly celebrated. A fun day out which I thoroughly enjoyed. This one was a quick find as it was quite exposed. Thanks for the cache team rodda.
Another fine Tuesday caching the 'burbs with Froghoppin, today Sebastbat came along and Jack tagged along too! This was one of our several finds. Thank you team rodda for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance ---------------- ----------------------In a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid lumps falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps us agile... sort of --------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Cache carefully and make sure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Clean as you go and cache the countryside Big thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in nice safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun for all Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! Maybe not though - as someone actually did read to the end and alerted me to just a project GC badge that requires long logs [:o)] Well at least it's not as bad as finding a mint tin! Did you get that... stop putting out rusty mint tins, just stop it, now!!! C'est fini... For now... ... until tomorrow! PS:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... or is it backward... it takes an extra day to get to March 29.2.24 The Mega Leap Event of the year. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------And don't forget to put the June Long Weekend in your diary for 2024 too... fun and funky finds
Another Tuesday adventure with Mattycat and Sebastbat, back down to the city for todays playground, for the cat a cache a day is his motto but today this everyday cache was soon spotted and signedTFTC team rodda
Headed out for a bike ride and to grab a few caches along the way. All up 15 caches were found, including this one. Beautiful day for it and judging by the amount of bikes and activewear I saw along the way, I'd guess those two things were high up on the list of Christmas (or Boxing Day buys) . TFTC
I was hoping for four in this series this morning, but have come away with just two, a consequence of council workers and muggles and school holidays. This one was very exposed when I found it. Replaced in the same spot but with better cover. Thanks for the cache and the series team rodda.
Something special or unusual goes here:A nice quick find on this one. The Generic Bit:Another Tuesday trek around for myself, S.A. Sewer Rats and Ttrogg [^] We headed down the Port area again to grab some solved puzzles and any other caches we came across. Another fun day with only one DNF And that was on a previous DNF. Quick find here. No trouble.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Pulled up near GZ this morning but didnt even get out the car as a muggle gardener and resident dog were both in the front yard. I shall return most likely in the cover of darkness!
I had some inside knowledge on this one, so parked to obscure the hide completely. I crept around so as not to disturb the resident and was able to get quick access to this vulnerable hide. Signed and returned in semi-darkness without disturbing residents, dogs, walkers or anyone in the park. The park!, now thats a good idea. Thanks for the cache team rodda. Found 7.52pm, find #9089
Found on my way down from the Hills to attend the South West Breakfast 11011 event. Thanks for the cache team rodda!
I must admit, that is a new container type for me. A resident doggo was wary of me. TFTC

Quick find for a smiley to add to tally.Hiding in front of muggles front doors is probably not going to sit well with the muggle occupants...TNLNSL
Took me a little while once gps settled. Found in its little hidey hole. On to the next one. Tftc
FTF at 1817 hrs.Someone threw out their trash. I'm predicting that cache is going to need regular maintenance.TFTC
