10:41After a mad scramble to get here, it was great to take a leisurely walk along the fence line and have an actual conversation with jeffheif1, our visitor from Chicago. Thanks, McLookers. Not a huge load of rubbish collected, which is good (though more there than we'd like). #7967
A good turnout on a glorious sunny day, though the wind was a bit strong and the water was choppy but lots of rubbish was collected and lots of fun was had by all. Thanks for the event.
A great CITO! Great to meet the community out here, and great to be able to clean up the area a bit. Thanks for hosting!
Another effective clean up of this very popular area. Well done to the cachers who made a difference today. A contribution made to GVI through CDS too.
A good turnout to help clear the area of rubbish. Many thanks to McLookers for organising.
Another neat CITO and another area where we've made a different. A few cans and bottles move to start another life as well. Thanks for hosting McLookers...
Once again a clean up making a difference. Lots of paper and rubbish collected on this warm and windy day and even some cans and bottles collected and donated to GVI as part of CDS.LeeLee won best hat competition and all feathers nearly stayed on. Thanks McLookers for hosting and making a difference. #5800
November 7, 2023 11:38 AMAnother great turnout and glad to be part of a group doing their bit for the local community. Not too much rubbish collected which is a good thing, and a great catch-up afterwards. Thx again McLookers for putting on these events.
Another successful CITO, usually I have only done the Geelong CITOs that Wespro has put out but this one was amazing. Did a clean up with my partner/caching buddy SharpHarp, and came runner up in the hat competition.thank you for the adventure
After a nice breakfast in Bacchus Marsh we all headed out to Pykes Creek Reservoir to do our bit to help clean up.It was a great turn out and it was great chatting to a few others while we made our around picking up what we could find.Bags were soon bought back and we sorted out the recycling.Great to see the bottles and cans that I and others had picked up go to helping out GVI.Congrats to Lee Lee on the great hat and for keeping most of the feathers intake. Thanks McLookers for organising another CITO for us.Thanks TFTC.
Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Don't forget there is a prize for the best hat. Please remember to register on the CUAD site.
