Continuing our sightseeing around Tamworth on our last day via the local geocaches and AdLabs. The AdLab part took us to some great old places and we enjoyed the tour. We headed to this bonus and upon arrival saw the obvious spot and found the cache without any problems.TFTC
After completing the Adventure Lab after sunset last night, we had the coordinates for this bonus cache. We went to look this morning, and after our GPS settled down, we made a relatively quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the Adventure Lab and the Bonus cache.
Enjoying plodding around Tamworth this afternoon looking for some ALs. Perfect hides hole for this final! TFTC
We completed the AL yesterday and returned today to make a quick find on the bonus while being careful of flying golf balls. Thanks for the hide ALFIE77JC1.
We had just completed the final waypoint of this Lab when another cacher walked in to look for an answer, Big Matt. We spent some time chatting with him and sharing caching stories before parting ways. A great fella! Then we promptly headed off to the posted coords for this bonus. Rookie mistake! We soon realized our mistake and punched in the correct coords and returned to make the find.An enjoyable Lab with some great locations. We decided to have a quieter day today, so relaxed and then went out to look for some caches in and around town and also some Ad Labs. They took us to many of the local sights and features so it was a slowish journey with a few diversions as well.Mostly finds, but a few DNFs as well, maybe because the Council has done some pruning or maybe just because we were too tunnel visioned.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache ALFIE77JC1.**SKI Pair****
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Making our way to Broken Hill for Mundi Mundi Bash. Staying a few days in Tamworth to allow for some chores. Today was all about caching lunch packed and off we set to tackle some trails. Sure kept us busy today only getting home after sunset. We found your cache today. TFTC ALFIE77JC1
A quick find after some fun adventures with the kids this morning. TNLN TFTC
Another visit to tamworth and still some caching to be done. An easy day today, picking up a few around townTotal Caches Found 16046TFTC ALFIE77JC1
Found by Mary and David at 13:40. A FP for the Ad Lab and this Bonus. M was a patient at Tamworth Hospital She slipped on a gravel path while caching in Toowoomba last January. Nurse M treated her very sore ankle herself. No improvement when we arrived in Tamworth so off to the Hospital. Ankle was fractured, so they supplied a moon boot, which stayed on for nearly 3 months. All good now, but very impressed by all at the Hospital. Loved all the other Stages too. Our thanks to ALFIE77JC1. May the Fourth be with you.
Day 6 of my slow road trip home to Gosford from the Gold Coast. After staying in Tamworth last night, I'll be going to Nundle today when I leave here but from there, I'm not sure yet where I'll head.I still had this AL to do this morning and was able to complete it despite parking issues at the hospital and difficulties in finding the thing at the station that you can hire for one pound ... note to CO, the thing for hire costs one shilling! No problems, however, in locating the bonus cache and signing the log. Thanks for the bonus smiley.
While staying in Tamworth for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We just had to get out and find a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
Reperio 15:34Day 4 of our tour of Tamworth/Armidale caching trip, and today, Master Vitruvius and I were able to focus on more of the cache closer to the Tamworth area. We had such a great time over the last few days finding plenty of caches. This one was quickly found along the way after completing the required AdLab.Gratias ALFIE77JC1As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
After a great night sleep it was back on the road again and collecting more ticks on a map. I am in Tamworth and this place needs a little more investigating. The golden guitar is fun but there is a lot more to this place. The rain was starting to come down so I thought I would try and get in some caches that where quick and easy. I had completed the adventure Lab so there was a bonus to that (which i did not find) ok a couple others and then I need to start moving further up the road.I am looking forward to a drive into Walcha and check out the town. It has been 40 years since I was last here, wonder if it has changed. I found the tree easy enough but there is no cache to be found. thanks for the hide and the lab.
After finding all the answers over 2days, the final coords were revealed, a nicely constructed Al with a nicely hidden bonus. Tftc
Thought it would be in the obvious spot but soon realised it was more stealthy placed. Ill be back down here tonight for a run along the river. Too hot during the day. Visiting from Wollongong. Thanks for the bonus cache!

It was only a quick visit to Tamworth but we stretched it to fit in a wee bit of caching. Very quiet here which helped make an easy find. TFTC ALFIE77JC1.
