We are on our way back over to the West for a friends memorial service in Geraldton but this trip we are taking our time , enjoying the drive and picking up a few caches and taking in the scenery. We are mainly concentrating on Ad Labs, Earth caches and Virtual's as these don't give you any muggle problems. Of course there will be others in between. We passed this one as we missed the drive way and we're going to leave it until we saw who the CO was. U turn and back we went .Again a huge container in the open. Now how to get to the log book.We looked for awhile then read the hint. not long after we spotted something and things were happening. Bingo we located the log book and it now contains our name. You have lifted Geocaching to a new level,if only you were a bit closer to home.Again the mandatory favourite point added.
Day #5. My last minute WAGB adventure continues today! Road tripping again. Ive now met up with Posums in Albany and we are off today on the much anticipated roymerc trail. Fun times ahead.WOW. Incredible. This is amazing, brilliant, sensational.A great fun cache to work through. So much work has gone into this. Worth more than one favourite. How is this not at 100%!!!A big thanks goes to roymerc for taking the time to add The Rockcliffe Experience to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! The fun just never stops.Have you logged your will attend for Victoria's first ever Block Party? (Think Mega but even more special!)Join us on 22-23 March 2025 in Sunbury to celebrate 25 years of geocaching by logging your will attend at [**GCAP417**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).
I came over to WA last year for WAGB 23 and had such a great time so I decided to come back over again for this years events in Augusta. So after all of the planning with dates worked out my work decided that I could only have one week off so flying over was my only option. So I flew into to Perth and my first stop will be Busselton for 2 nights. It has been 47 years since I was in this part of WA and Im really looking forward to the re visit.Im making my way down the coast and picking out caches that look interesting to me.After spending a bit of time in Bunbury it was back to the Geo Rent a Car to continue along the coast and I then made it to Busselton.Day 4 of the trip. After caching around Busselton, Dunsbourgh and Cape Naturaliste I reached Albany for 3 nights.Caught up with Roaming Howie last night and a plan was hatched to head to Denmark today (the one in WA not the country) to tackle most of roymerc caches and any others that pop up.We noticed the caravan nearby butbthey didnt seam interested in us looking for the Demented Viking. We used the hint and we slowly worked through the stages and it about 4 times as it was so much fun.Of course another fav coming your way. Thanks roymerc TFTC
Found by Mary and David at 11:20. Another FP for this great mechanism. Rather than looking like a Demented Dalek Viking, we thought it was rather cute. There was a caravan parked close by, but the occupants were either away or resting inside. Either way, we didn't see anyone. Our thanks to roymerc.
A really simple method of working through this cache, although that's the final result after trying all other possible methods! Got there eventually but had fun trying!Today was Gnowangerup down towards Denmark day. Leaving Gnowangerup it was a day of caching towards the select caches picked out. The roymerc caches had been highly recommended and called me for a visit. Sure was pleased we went, the quality and fun was worth the trip and experience of visiting them. Denmark has always been a favourite place of mine, so it's great to revisit and enjoy this beautiful area with it stunning scenery and a few nice walks. Dinner picked up in Denmark, it was out of town for a free camp. Nice quiet place by a creek, surrounded by power trails and a mild night quite good for a walk in the moonlight to collect a few. Quite unusual to hear so many birds at night, the magpies singing quite late. I've never heard them quite like they were here, nice though. Thanks for your cache.
Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor.TFTC. Another great puzzle that had us scratching our heads for a while.
A quick find on the way back from a hike on the Bibb Track chasing a FTF. Thanks for the cache. Remember this one well in its old home. Still took a couple of minutes to sort it out. Add FP
Found at 2:48 PM GAFF1.Gosh - made this certainly deserves a higher D/T rating - especially the route that I took forthe T rating [B)]Fiddles around with it and then found the essential starting location which made the rest just fall into place. Excellent work and no batteries required Thanks to roymerc
TFTCThis is the most awesome we have ever found. Fun!Visiting Denmark from Perth for a few days. Signed log and swapped items.
We came to visit the Rockcliffe experience, and could see that it is also a campground. We approached GZ and we met by a young boy of about six years. He told us that he had looked at this contraption the day before and asked us if we knew what it was. While Mrs. Domsky entertained and talked with the young man, Mr. Domsky did the push, pull and pinch. The young boy was quite curious but had no idea as to how we had opened the contraption and pretty soon he disappeared off. Thanks roymerc for another super creative Hide, and also for seeking out locations that keep these creations safe. Domsky
Made our day working this one out. Many thanks to the land owners and big thanks for the cache
I'm not sure how we missed seeing this cache but very pleased to see we still had a Roymerc to do. And what a fun one it was too. Quite ingenious and a fav point. We really appreciate the landowners allowing the caches to be safely housed. Tftc
Ciao e grazie. Primo PF. #10868Third day in beautiful Denmark. A day dedicated mainly to these magnificent artefacts whose praises had reached us from far away. Our expectations were not betrayed, on the contrary!! A modest DIYer myself, I've created several wooden caches with spring mechanisms to make opening challenging and I was hoping to get some new ideas from roymerc. Seeing such magnificence, I felt dwarfed: I will never be able to reach these DIY heights!Luckily, we have enough Favs to lavish on each of the artifacts we discovered this morning. Our compliments!Opening this one we had a few moments of hesitation, but in the end, as the saying goes, all's well that ends well, the logbook is signed.Hello and thanks. First Fav. #10868
Day 2of my adventure, heading between Albany and Denmark today. An overcast day and trying my luck at claiming a few more smilies along the way. So happy that this one of them. Another great Roymerc invention. Definitely worth my fav point Some logs signed as N2OThis is my 12225find.Thankyou roymerc for placing and maintaining this cache
This certainly had us scratching our heads for a while.Another brilliant cache and of course another FP.TFTC roymerc this is find #16476 for us.
Summer Holidays means we are hitting the road for our next adventure. Plenty of sun, sand and making memories are the plans. Whilst on our travels we of course will ensure to collect smilies. Today we found your cache easily and we left the geokids with the hint to work through opening the cache. It did not take them long before success. Thanks for another enjoyable cache.
Found it TFTC Found in good condition. All these wonderful places that let you place caches. Thank you
Great to find thanks! We made an error of parking at the wrong commercial estate- so may be best to park in the winery car park and walk up.
We stayed the night at rockcliffe winery which was fabulous and has some really nice wines! The cache itself is very cool! TFTC
*FTF* We were intrigued to notice the Viking gnome had invaded a new realm in town. Hes pretty bold - no missing him. Didnt take long to take him by surprise to reveal his stash. Thanks roymerc for rekindling our acquaintance with this fellow.
