Started this trail from the other end late yesterday. This afternoon, we are tackling some more hides from the Tunnel Hill end. a good start, but more correctly described as in end of fence post rather than on top of stump. TFTC.

So today I thought it was about time I wandered up and went for a walk and retrieve this series of caches. Although I didn't even try and get the last couple as there were muggles around. But overall was a nice walk albeit very noisy from the highway.

We are aware of the Bibbulmun Trail from our visits to Western Australia. We have visited many of the towns along the trail and have walked some very short sections. The scenery and heritage along the trail is superb. We can appreciate the attraction of the walking the Bibbulmun Trail and congratulate JABs on his achievement. So when the publication of Bibb Trail commenced, it was a major attraction for us. Circumstances dictated that today was our first opportunity to look for the first caches in this series.Albany is a very interesting place to visit. However the most significant memory we have is being up at Convoy Lookout with a panoramic view of King George Sound and envisaging the gathering of the very large fleet to take our soldiers to fight in World War I. It took us quite some time to locate this cache. We went to the published coordinates but were not successful. We gradually widened the search area and finally found the cache 12m from the published coordinates. The hint helped to locate the cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Before leaving we took a number of sets of measurements of the coordinates and the average was S42 51.091 E147 25.420. Thanks JABs for this cache and the series so far - looking forward to continuation of the series.

Today we headed out from Sorell to find a few caches. We couldnt go very far as our car insurance was a drive less pay less deal which runs out on Saturday and we only had 50kms left.we finished the day today with 6km for tomorrow. Great planning I think .We found a few challenge caches and went on a nice walk by the freeway. We found all the caches that we looked for which was a bonus. Last one for today but that isnt a stump . TFTC

Myself and Goose had talked about doing this trail for awhile now but wanted to wait till there was a few out so we could do a whole section, as it turned out that is exactly what we managed find more than we bargained for!Parking within 2m of number 1 on Grahams Rd was a good start, with us taking a leisurely walk to end of the track at Alliance Drive, this took us 1 hour 51 minutes, the return only took 54 minutes. Some hides we found the coords a bit out but with the hint and geosenses it wasn't a problem, the only other person we spotted on the trail was a brain-dead dirt biker who hooned passed a couple of times.Found on 13/04/2024 at 11:05:00 thanks to JABs for placing this cache for me to find. The best caches I have found so far are:-Sentimental [Moorgreen P3:1, Penny Pincher](http://coord.info/GC32Z5B) By [Sven&Cup](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=6596795)Traditional [Hanging Around in Toorak](http://coord.info/GC62KAP) By [bobthebuilder_123](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=586681)Multi [Gawler Fort Knox](https://coord.info/GC5T0W1) By [**JEM**](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=11449141)Unknown [Men In Black Holes](http://coord.info/GC1DVB0) By [SG-3](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=918045) Letterbox [Rolf's Letterbox](http://coord.info/GC5NCYM) By [membsec](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=5318842)Earthcache [Totem Pole](https://coord.info/GC862H8) By [The Hancock Clan](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=263428)Visit the [Geocaching Tasmania Facebook group](https://www.facebook.com/groups/318455407771/)

Today stainless steel rat and I decided to do the Bibb Trail. We parked on Grahams Road and walked all the way to Alliance Drive, turned around and walked all the way back again. The return journey took half the time, as we hoofed it back, having found ALL the caches on the outbound trip. As we approached each GZ, we used a combination of the hint, the compass, and geosense to get us to the prize. Some were quick finds, but some took a bit longer. We had a trail bike fly past us a couple of times, so be careful! An enjoyable three hours exercise but I was pretty hungry by the time we finished.I am looking forward to the rest of the series being published. Thanks JABs

Tasmania Trip Day 10. For my last day in the Hobart area, I dizzied to have a go at some of the challenge caches in the area. Mostly the YCDIT caches, even though I will be relying on non Tasmanian caches in the most part for the qualification. I managed to get several other caches along the day and for once was not out until the end of the day. I Finished the day with some LABs in the botanic gardens and then went to a local pub in Battery point for a quiet afternoon and dinner. I off to Launceston tomorrow as the end of the trip draws closer. This Bibb trail was right by the road as I drove out of the area so I just had to stop for one more before getting back on the challenge trail. Thanks for the cache JABs46055.14 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2011 Cache the Dark Side A#209**Albida**

Hi JABs, thanks for this series of caches, and congratulations on your Bibb. walk.Today I parked between West Cape and Torbay, then walked straight to Albany, found that, then the others down to William Bay.Then I leap-frogged via the even caches to Walpole, then found the remaining odd caches back towards the car. This one took a few minutes, trying to avoid the muggle in his yard opposite, when all the while I should have followed the GPSr rather than the hint!Cheers, EPs.

Today is the last day of the solstice souvenir challenge and we still needed five caches to complete it, so this afternoon we came to Mount Rumney to tackle this new series. We saw plenty of wildlife along the track, including rabbits, wallabies and even a swift parrot. The caches were all quick finds and were all in good condition. A fun series, looking forward to the rest of it.Thanks for the cache JABs!

"Sweet as! A new trail of hides near home" i said to myself once i loaded up my map. Fast forward a day, today and i was off in the GeoMobile to Graham Street to the trailhead of this track to go plunder the 7 new hides [^] CoolThis one had me looking for a bit as my GPS had me at the base of a tree some 8m from GZ which was found quickly after a scope around for the stump.Signed he log at 09:26 on Thursday the 14th of December 2023... Yep... December! Man, the time flies!! Were at the end of the year already SurprisedReplaced the Cache and was off to the next one.The Cache and contents are fine and dry, (just thought i'd add that after this morning's early intense deluge between 03:15 - 03:45 with Thunder, Lightning and Heavy Rain) seeing it may have affected the Cache and contents, but all is good and dry... with all 7 of them [in hindsight] Smile)TFTC JABs Smile

Looking for a short but quick burst of caches to do in a spare few hours with Mother and Brother, and what do you know - this group was perfect! After looking for this one for a few minutes, Bro soon scouted out a likely spot, and we had the cache in hand. Thanks for this awesome little group JABs!

Thanks for the cache JABs.This little series of caches is not too far from home, so with the longer daylight hours I decided to go for a stroll along this track with the GeoGSPs after work. As I pulled up into the parking area, the GeoGSP's were very excited to see an array of hoppy things in the nearby field and were very excited to get going.A nice quick find to get us going.

**FTF** 10.40am. We had a well organised Saturday in front of us. Bacon and Eggs for breakfast, then on to Grand Daughter's School for as Car Boot Sale. After lunch the Xmas Tree is to be decorated. So on the way to Granddaughter's School up pops a set of new caches. Quick diversion to get at least one FTF for December and into an area where we have some caches. Quick find very near the parking spot and happy to send off an FTF log to inform others, and then continue with the planned day. Sorry for yellow highlighter signature on log, we were not really expecting to geocache today!TFTC

We were about to head out for the day when we saw this series pop up. As it was close to home we decided to see if we could grab a FTF or two before heading off to our other commitments. We parked near number seven and walked back to number two. We decided to grab number one later when we had more time as it had already been found. We made a quick grab of number one on the way back home. It was nice to catch up with the CO along the way. Thanks JABS for giving us a reason to get a bit of badly needed exercise. TFTC
