An early start in Augusta with an event at sparrows! We ventured for something warm after a chilly event we cleaned up a few remaining caches around town and on the outskirts before the boys headed off towards Albany where we made some detours to find some FTFs on the Bibbulmun track which we had researched prior to the day for what was easy enough to get to from the road. A great day out and thanks for the fun.
After a VERY early morning event I set off for day 3 of my Augusta trip. Grabbing caches along the way. Many thanks pood for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures. We saw some beautiful birds yesterday on this river when we were caching your series. Loved this little cutie - another fav point here
What a midweek getaway to Augusta. Multiple finds, some new ones placed, a boat trip and a storm or two. Followed by multiple stories to last, early mornings for no real reason and only a few DNFs spread across the South West. Thanks to the local COs for their efforts in hiding and maintaining what we found.
Found at 11:07 AM GAFF1.Now there is a bold little hide - surprised that has survived, but that seems to be what happens with IPS caches! So many nice little reserves along this coastal area, but didn't see any birds of interest. Thanks to pood
Found it. TFTC pood. Spent the weekend in and around Augusta and teamed up with papillion367, ullyssia and meme28. Logs were signed as PUMPP. The weather was not good but the team was great. Most were found in reasonable time but there were a few that proved to be a bit more difficult . All were replaced as found.
Thank you! Teamed up with papillon367, meme28 and Photo-Play for a caching weekend in Augusta. The weather meant our boating plans were cancelled, but we had a great day finding as many caches around town and the cape as we could. Caches signed as PUMPP or ullyssia.Happy to make the find here.
Teamed up with ullyssia, meme28 and Photo-Play for a trip to Augusta over the long weekend. YAY FTFTaurus Six and I are happy to be having a long weekend down Dunsborough / Yalingup / Cowramarup / Margaret River way . Perfect weather for it and perfect time of year for a visit down this way . We always aim to see new things and explore new areas each time we come down this way . In between wineries, gourmet foods, bushwalking and exploring there is also always plenty of time for geocaching . There are still lots of caches in this general area that we have not yet collected so we have plenty of choice which makes the experience all the more enjoyable . Today Taurus Six and I are on our second day of a long week and we are in the Margaret River / Cowramarup area . The weather was meant to be sunny and warm today, but in actual fact it overcast and reasonably cool . Our aim today is to geocache in the morning and then hit the wineries this afternoon. Great day for geocaching apart from the horse flies being a bit too friendly. Well all best laid plans can change in an instance and that was certainly the case this afternoon when we realised 6 new caches and with the chance of First to Finds had come out in Augusta , it was only half an hour from where we were. After a moment or two of should we should not we. We both then agreed of course we must so off we headed to Augusta , checking along the way that nobody else was there first. All new caches were good interesting hides. We did have to do a bit of zig zagging across town though because one of the gz was swarming with muggles initially luckily the coast was clear when we returned. Thanks for these new caches Pood .
