Bro and Sis out for a short adventure today while in the area. While Sis went directly to a likely spot, Bro took a more 'feet-on' approach and quite accidently stumbled across his second find of the day. Sis is going to have to pick up her game. TFTC 63ROOS!
Today we further explored our back yard finding caches along the way, and this was one of them.We concentrated on finding the caches that have been published since our last visit.We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty.Many thanks to the CO for your cache placement.

A quick find this morning to help fill in my calendar. Was a little hesitant about looking with so many houses nearby. Never know who is watching.

Heute frh aufgestanden und bei khlem Wetter das Summer Solstice Morning CatchupEvent besucht. Danach ging es bei immer wrmerem Sonnenschein auf Cachetour in der Rosny Gegend. Wir machten zu Fuss 17 Smiley und 2 DNF. Die meisten Caches gut gefunden. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.

I couldn't have missed budgie by much here! I checked the correct place but didn't see it so moved on and checked other 'hints'. Eventually I came back and had a proper look and there it was. Silly me!Thanks 63ROOS
So. A lovely day and a half an hour to spend before I had to be out for tea. So of to find 4 caches I need to bring my all time total for the 22nd of November to 10. Given there were 4 caches in Rosny and it was on the way there was an obvious target. Found all 4 of them which was greatTftc
We came south today to attend an event tomorrow - we are past the stage of making a return trip in a single day unless absolutely necessary. We arrived in mid afternoon and after checking in at a motel, we had a few hours to cache before the sun went down. However, as most geocachers know, the setting of the sun does not mean the end of the days activities. We went to look for this cache just after the sun had disappeared over the mountain but there was still adequate light. Accurate coordinates and an exposed cache led to a quick find. The cache was exposed because the covering concrete had slipped off. The cache and contents were in good condition. After signing the log, we returned the cache to were we had found it but made sure that the concrete was firmly back in place. Thanks 63ROOS for the cache.

Thanks for the cache 63ROOS.After a crazy busy week at work, I was keen to get out for a walk and so were the GeoGSP's. Off we headed to find a few new caches around Rosny.We walked to this one from the newly published multi - it's been a few years since I've walked this part of the track and it is so much better - it used to be bumpy worn-out bitumen and covered in she-oak nuts and pine needles.We made our way to GZ and made a quick find at GZ. Another well decorated container. Thanks for adding to the geocaching map ??
After a fantastic lunch at 'Fox Friday' in the city, i decided to walk it and the craft beer off by walking home to Rokeby, via these 3 new hides first of course A (reasonably) quick find in the 3rd spot i checked ha ha

Joint {*FTF*} with one half of membsec at 16:00.I was notified of three new caches close to home, so I decided to try and get them. I decided to try and find the two in the Rosny walking series first, which turned out to be a good decision as I arrived here just as membsec was signing the log. A very nicely decorated cache.Thanks for the cache 63ROOS!
Joint **FTF** 4pm with DencoxclanSunny and warm day in Hobart!!! Lawns mowed, hedges trimmed and time to relax when the message came through about 3 FTFs in our zone. Quick reorganisation and off to the caches. Met every weird driver this side of the river on the way - pull out in front, attempt to cut in, tailgate, Left Hand indicator and then turn Right (you've got the picture!).Moved on to here from the previous FTF and quickly discovered the hide but immediately Dencoxclan appeared and we agreed on the joint FTF. Good use of "junk" left by others and nicely decorated container.TFTC
