Headed North today to grab a few caches before lunch. A good morning out. Thanks for the fun.
Teamed up with a motley crew for a fun day cleaning up the northern suburbs. Appropriately signed as NYE23.
Out and about again, after a NYE event a small group of us headed north the clean up Alkimos to Mindarie, and a few extras along the way. Team of Cockburn Crew plus some ring-ins Monkeywand and Geotrakka. Signed as NYE23 to save log paper. Did a few extra so Lachlan1.77 could hit his milestone of 10,000 finds in Padbury.Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Easter 2024 (GC9PNFB): - 5 day event at Canberra Park adjacent to EPIC (Canberra Showgrounds) on the Federal Highway, only 6km from the centre of the city.The mascot for the Mega is Gangles the endemic Gang Gang Cockatoo, a bird you may see or hear while in Canberra.The official website - geobash.ozmega.com.auACT has over 4700 active caches, power trails, and over 100 Lab Adventures. I was sitting at home wondering what to do on new years eve and thought what better thing to do to finish the year then go for a cache. All was quick and easy at GZ. Tftc
Following an eventful day with activities at Woodman's Point and securing a "first to find" in Beeliar, our geocaching escapade continued as we swiftly made our way up to Alkimos. The mission: cleaning up and exploring the array of new geocaches dotting the northern suburbs. The rush to cover these new caches infused the journey with an adrenaline-filled excitement, eagerly anticipating the diverse challenges and discoveries awaiting us in this northern stretch. All caches were signed as team NYE23, our appropriate team name for a New Years Eve caching adventure.Quick find of the well concealed cache, a typical style - one that I have previously employed myself!
