Headed to this one after the Event. I had been trying to solve this for weeks but didn't realise the program doesn't work no more. There is another way to get the answer. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Freddo the hot chocolate frog. All good with this cache and letterbox hybrid.
TFTC Freddo your cache Liz and Bruce Visitors #45 - Freddo that we found today. This has been sitting on the solved pile for quite some time. It is also the closest unfound cache to our home.(less than a kilometre). Had reason to be close here today so bit the bullet to make the find.Find Count: 20601
Found at 3:21 PM GAFF1.Had a bit of an issue with the co-ords as the tool to get them is no longer working! So had to get onto the actual web site and then it wouldn't actually give us the co-ords, but a little box was drawn on the location which enable us to work out through Google Earth where the cache was hidden. We then headed off to do our shopping and then went back to Liz & Bruce to explain our ordeal Thanks to Freddo
Chose a few more caches to find in Maryborough with goingplaces2 on this hot day. Those in the shade were most appreciated. Thanks go to all the CO's for putting the caches into play. We had a good day.
There was not much caching happening today for us as we needed to do some other activities as well. So we just picked out a few caches from the map and went to look for those with ilook4geo. Some took a little longer than others, but each log was signed to mark our visit. Thanks go to Freddo for placing this cache when you visited here.
Konie and I headed to Maryborough to find a few caches. We found a variety of cache types, containers and D/Ts. Thanks to the COs, we had a lot of fun and laughs. TFTC
Today I headed to Maryborough with Selva Girls to do a bit of cacfhing on the south side. We found an assortment of different types of caches and this was one of them. Tree fishing and stumbling about on the ground was all part of the fun. Some caches took longer than others to find but once the log was signed all were returned as found. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy. TFTC Freddo
Solved this easily whilst enjoying a cuppa. It is our last day in Maryborough and had to decide whether to do this or save for next trip.Couldn't resist going for a walk to get one last cache.Ofcourse Gwen(The X-Trailers) and I decided to go for a walk.Sadly only found a cache and no Freddo frogs. A fav point today for our last find .TFTC
Solved this one the night before driving down from Bundaberg to the event. Parked nearby and a short walk to GZ for a quick findWith cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. With the puzzle solved and the final coords loaded we headed off to GZ where the cache was found in a familiar hiding place. All good with this one. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Freddo.
Our tour took us to the north - towards Maryborough. We did a lot of puzzling, research and planning in the run-up to our tour. After arriving in Maryborough, we started with the adventure caches. We planned a few days around Maryborough for the different cache trails. We had beautiful weather - and a wonderful time. We discovered Maryborough's history and classic Queensland architecture from the 1800s and visited the Mary Poopins Museum. We would like to thank all the owners for the great cachesTeam sissifalke
Solved the puzzle and headed to GZ on a drizzly day. Found container without issue, signed and replaced.TFTC
Looked at this one for a while before the penny dropped and then we soon had the coords. A short drive to GZ where thecache was quickly located, signed log and returned as found. TFTC Freddo
Another cache found on my trip to Maryborough for a 12 noon event. Left Bargara at 0415 and was complete in Maryborough by 0915.Quick find at my calculated co ords for ground zero. TFTC Freddo
Solved this prior and today it was a nice quick detour off as we head towards Bargara. Im glad it was on a different road to where I thought it could been. Cute decorated(?) container. All perfectly fine inside. Signed and returned as found.
It is time to head back home for the weekend and get ready for some big caching events. So I am leaving Calliope and heading back via Tannum Sands and the Bruce highway. There are a few caches I would like to stop and get along the way. First stop is just a cache which I was muggled out by last time. Turns out the car has different plans and with battery issues getting worse, it was into Bundaberg for some repairs. Three hours later and two new batteries and I'm on my way again. Heading down the highway and I see a few caches in Maryborough that would be nice additions. I had this one solved and for today it was just a park and grab. A change of fortunes and I got a nice little shinny disk thingy out of the cache, thanks Ian and penny. All good with this cache. I signed the log and replaced the cache as found, thank you for the placement.
Hi there Freddo, we found your cache Liz and Bruce Visitors #45 - Freddo today in the company of MsSammi. A nice quick find for the first of the day. Weve finally borrowed a fishing pole and it has opened up a whole lot of caches in our local area that we havent been able to get before. Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
Out with Ian and Penny today to do some caching around Maryborough. Pennys sister Liz (who might one day start a geocaching account) also joined us. I am not the best at solving Mystery Caches however Ian pointed me in the right direction on how and where to solve this one. Quick and easy find once at GZ. TFTC
Third to find after spending a night in a luxury lifestyle village nearby. Scared a little resident as we removed the cache but he kept his tail intact. Always good to find Freddo caches in far flung locations...
Solved with Bruce over a cuppa early this morning. I decided not to go for the ftf as wed logged DWs cache the day before. So around 10am I drove over here on my way out of town A nice quick find at GZ Stamped the back of the log next to DW. Surprised the locals hadnt lobbed up to claim a find TFTC Freddo the Chocolate (13/11/23 having probs logging and editing at the moment)
***FTF***, Was up about 0700, and saw this one. Did what was needed to get the final coords, however had to leave it as Mrs Snakepitters needed the car today for her essentials???. I finished all my chores for the day and did a quick check and it was still up for grabs. Jumped in the car for the short drive to GZ and was rewarded with the clean log for a FTF.
*Beta tested* cache at 16:19 hr.Wow, the CO got lucky with this puzzle's combination that naturally led to GZ's coordinates! It's not often that I visit a new location saturated with caches needing my name in their logbooks, but yet we prioritised good-looking spots for new cache hides to add to that saturation, and consequently, this cache was dropped during our first afternoon in Maryborough. We managed to spot this hide by chance, and this ticked all of the CO's hiding spot requirements suitable for his new container. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------During this trip, I travelled with [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) (who was visiting from Adelaide, SA) and we visited Maryborough for an extended weekend.Friday was the drive north, which involved the full day with stops in Nambour, Eumundi, Pomona, Gympie, Tiaro, and Maryborough, and highlights included the *Evil* series and the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series. The weekend's two days prioritised the *Jolly Brolly Folly* (JBF) series and *Geocaching 101* series, with a Sunday afternoon trip to Utopia Falls. Finally, Monday's itinerary included a few last geocaches that were in town, and we then returned home via Beaver Rock, Maaroom, and Tin Can Bay.A fun and rewarding trip with great company and friends, and we were rewarded with good weather throughout our trip.Today, [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) and I commenced the drive north with a few [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) targeted D-T geocaches in the Sunshine Hinterland, so we stopped in Woombye and Nambour, before continuing our trip north. I had a targeted Eumundi geocache to find (as it was a non-market day today), and we then spent a couple of hours visiting the *Evil* series nearby to Pomona. After having a bakery lunch in Gympie, we continued north, stopped in Tiaro, and then progressively stopped more as we neared Maryborough. We spent a few hours finding a few geocaches in the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series, and then took a loop around Police Paddock Conservation Park. As the light faded, we caught up with [Liz and Bruce](https://coord.info/PR68BB).
