Couldnt find with my bf - we looked around the big hollow tree with patterning in the middle but nothing - lots of bugs
We are out today trying to complete May and thought we take a look at Aurora . Nice location . Apparently the co-ords are a little off. Just look for something that looks like its from a Disney movie .TFTC
Out for a bikeride on a day off, we decided to target this series of caches on the bikeway. Thanks so much for placing!
Found along with some Easter eggs at the base obviously not found during an egg hunt. TFTC
Made it to GZ, but had to cut my search short as my toddler decided to go for a swim in the creek then scream like she was being murdered when I dragged her out before drowning. But the main reason I wanted to post a note is that one of the handy entrances to this beautiful creek side glade currently has a camp made of tarpaulins. So extra caution is recommended.
I headed out on the geo-scooter for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few of the BBBBs and surrounding caches.I found your cache, ANNA today. This is my 2737 find.EJS20, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
After a nearby event, TBU walked with a group of various cachers along this Bikeway to find some more caches. To safe space on this log, TBU as part of this group, signed these with MMMM as well.TFT cache, EJS20
A surprising location and if it wasnt for the flying vampires I might have spent a few moments longer admiring itThanks EJS20
As we were having lunch in the nearby park we were intrigued by the number of wet dogs coming out of here. No biggie we thought as we knew Bulimba Creek was nearby. We then we noticed kids going down there with towels around their shoulders and we knew we had to investigate. There was a cache down there anyway that was on our list for the day. What a delightful little area of the creek with trickling water and a wide sandy bank. Just lovely We walked a bit further on to look for Anna. Thanks for the experience EJS20
After a nearby event, a group of various cachers tackled a new series of caches along this bike trail, picking up also previous caches placed in this area.To safe space on this log, TBU as part of this group, signed these with MMMM as well.TFT cache, EJS20
Like all I've tried in this series, co-ords were off by a good 10 mtrs, but th@ may b due 2 the overhead foliage...also, many nearby muggles, but they ignored me as I pretended 2 b doing anything but caching! T4TC:-)
An event! Awesome! Now to concentrate on the caches in that area and work on a game plan. I teamed up with two of the triple turmoil's and worked out where we were going. A bike ride and a little walk, a ladder and some fun were all we needed for this morning's adventures. It was a huge day of caches and I got to clean out an area before more caches will be published here I guess. Oh but wait then there are these new caches along this bike path. It was great to see so many people out and about riding or walking, even driving to these new caches. Yet while the generic name was in the log it was the true caching people who still went to every cache and check it out. I look forward to the next line of caches here to continue the great experience to be had when completed. Nice idea and some fun work. All caches today were attended to by bike and signed and sighted by us, thanks.
TFTC smile 17264 ?? out and about on a lovely day ??Signed as grannysmith1947 Thank you EJS20 for placing this cache for our enjoyment ????
A group of us met up at the might M for a breakfast and an event and then rode the Bulimba Bike trail to collect a heap of new caches. This is one of the caches that was collected along the way. To save room on the paper, log was signed as mmmm for those of us travelling together.
Following on from the Mischievous Mob Meeting at Maccas, a large contingent split into teams to tackle caches along the impressive Bulimba Creek Bikeway. A dozen or so caches were found this morning, in the early summer heat. Some people brought bikes, some brought scooters, some were happy to walk, but . I had the most efficient method of transport on the day, which was being pulled along by the family dog. She was pretty excited to get two hours of exercise.Claiming this find as part of the MMMM group sign off. All good here with the cache. Thanks very much for creating this cache and the series EJS20. Cheers
After attending the Makku,s Marvellous Mischievous Machinations a huge group of us headed off to find some new caches not yet published and along the way we picked up a few smileys. wow this is a beautiful tree and a really magical location. We signed them with MMMM. Thanks for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy.
As we were walking the path way with fellow geoes from the local event. We realised we hadn't signed this log, so off we went to get our smile. tftc
I continued walking along the bike/walking track with a group of fellow geocaching walkers, enjoying our conversations. This was found not too far away from our route. Signed with group MMMM. Tftc
Our group ventured in from the bikeway whilst looking for the trail of newly placed caches. This was a nice hide in a good location.Thank you, EJS20, for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment
Out and about on a rather steamy Sunday morning in south east Queensland. Decided today to head to the South side to pick up a few caches before an afternoon out with the geo-wife.Found a safe place to park the car and made my way on foot to ground zero. Upon arrival the cache was quickly located and the log extract and signed. Returned to the hiding spot and off for the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by fellow cachers.Cheers
I was intending to get Belle on the way over to this one but there was a muggle behind me at the time with her dog. I kept walking and had not been to the park near by for both dogs and smaller humans. I was a little worried that I might be on the wrong side of the creek as the map was showing me it was. I powered through but I was on the correct side. Hint helped limit where this one was hiding. Thanks for the cache and the series.
Nice spot here aside from the constant traffic noise Thanks for the cache EJS20
This was an interesting spot to visit. The creek was flowing strongly after last night's rain. The GPS was actually telling me that I had to cross the creek but I was glad that I didn't have to. I searched around all the likely spots near where the GPS was indicating was GZ and then, after reading previous logs, I widened my search area and spotted the cache.TFTC EJS20, With all the optional hiding spots in the area it is a pity that the coordinates are so far out.
Caching with RoddyC and Hatzofff today and RoddyC had to check out some areas to put caches and we all had a patch of new caches to find. All caches were found in good condition but a few were out by 5 to 8 mtrs. Not sure if this one will be accessible after a lot of rain. It was a very peaceful location. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Funnily enough my mum and dad used to live not far from here and wed bring Dad down for a picnic. Never had I crossed over the sandy bridge. What a wonderland. An epic spot fitting for this cache. Well done! Tftf
Out with hatzofff and imbunda today. Part walk, Part E-Scooter for a goodmix.Good find. Nice hiding spot - reminds me of a movie.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 10:52 AM on November 19, 2023. TFTC, EJS20
A day checking placements and putting out caches. Caching with RoddyC imbunda.I say this tree from away and said that looks like something from frozen. Hope it lasts in the floods.TFTCache EJS20
Joint {FTF} !!! WooHoo !!!After a day caching in Nerang with our new geobuddies, we arrived home late feeling tired, and not being locals we seen no new notifications, but for some reason we refreshed the map and up popped 5 FTF's, well wasn't that a red rag to a bull, so off we went into the darkness...Loved this hide, awesome, torch just went flat, thankfully our geocaching friends were apt and able to helpout, TFTC EJS20
A really good spot for a cache in a serene location in the suburbs. Thanks for the cache
Thankyou for bringing me to this beautiful spot. I have approached from Prebble Street before but this would be a quicker approach for me to enjoy this area in future. Nice placement. Caching with new friends here too. Thanks.Joint {FTF}
