It was hard work getting into this cache because of all the spring growth of blackberries. Managed to get it, along with a few scratches and prickles! Thanks Franklj
This was another cache found by Redcb as we cleared up some caches in this area. All in good condition. Thanks Franklj.
Thanks so much. That was our first find for a while and a nice re-entry into the game.
We found this cache today on a visit to Ringwood. We had seen these two caches here for a fair while but had never stopped off for them but we changed that today. A quick park between the two and to the eastern one first and this one second. Once at GZ, it was in the second place that I really had a look at so we were happy about that. This was our 23rd Franklj cache find, with our first one being almost exactly 20 years ago way back in 2004. It also brings us up to date on all Franklj cache hides (except for that rogue hide in Texas that we never got to and is now archived) We were in this spot in 2008 finding one of the GEGP caches and that is now almost 16,000 cache finds ago. Back to the car now before it rains. Thanks from D & HA B-A
A day out biking and caching the Mullum Mullum Trail and a short section of the Eastlink Trail. With my legs done with biking, I drove around and took a short walk to this one. Having changed out of my wet bike shoes and socks after the day's cache searches in long wet grass, the walk to this cache got some warmth back into my feet. A quick find here in what was a strangely familiar location. I'm sure 8 found another cache here in the past. All in good dry condition. TFTC Franklj

Out for a late arvo cache run with quiet1_au, this was next on the agenda and a nice easy find by GMelb. As we were wandering back to the car we decided we would do the nearish by Adventure Lab Point. My phone plays up and shows AL's that we have already done so I had thought we had already found it but it turned out we hadnt so we continued past the parked cars and past the other cache we had found like 10 mins earlier and on to GZ for the lol TFTC franklj - GJMMelb
Cache #2 for this evening's run with G&J of GJMMelb. This one took us back to a familiar spot from some years gone by. Once again G beat us to the find but logged and rehidden we headed back to the cars and then decided to visit a near(ish)-by Adventure Lab location so we retraced our earlier steps past the previous cache find and beyond... (Inefficient but it's not about the numbers, the sculpture and seeing the Cockatoos/etc playing in the trees and drinking from the creek made the extra kilometre+ walk worthwhile!)
Thanks Frankij. Found second time around after a few years hiatus with no swearing this time. Giddy up
Looks like we have some work to do (finding caches) along the Mullum Mullum Trail. We targeted this one today as we are finding caches hidden in 2023. After parking close-by at Schwerkolt's Cottage, we wandered along the path and made a quick find. Took the TB to move along after admiring the engineering of the overhead roads! Thanks Franklj for hiding this cache for us to find. Cache on
Out in the delightful company of echidna44. We wandered along the trail from the granite throne and it wasnt long before our names were in the log TFTC Frankij
Out with au.fait to find a couple of caches, this was a quick find after a short walk in the heat. Thanks Franklj.
Out on a lovely lunchtime walk with OzHockeyChick and as a bonus there is some new caches along our path. Thanks for making our daily walks more interesting.
A lovely summers day, so decided to head out at lunchtime with hergab69 and muggle colleague to get some exercise and find these relatively new caches.A quick find at gz. Not many muggles about today which made it a bit easier. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Franklj ~~
There used to be a cache here which I couldnt find as it had gone MIA. I think it got archived not long after that. It was nice to find this one today in the second place I looked. Thank you Franklj for placing and maintaining Overhead roads - Mullum Mullum trail for us to find today.
A sunny morning for a walk and surprisingly there was not a lot of activity in the area. The cache was found after checking a few spots while the GPSr settled down. Thanks to Franklj for the cache.
This was quick and easy find, which was good, as it was lunch time and we were hungry. Then off to the food court at Eastlands for some curry.
Found it! Muggle Wen and I enjoyed a walk from The Cottage along the paths today. It was a bit hot but we walked slowly as we caught Pokemon and found a few caches along the way. This was found in a fairly usual hiding spot with some fairly obvious type of camouflage. I just needed to get into the right position to retrieve the container. TFTC SL. All is good with the contents.
The geobeagles needed walkies and this close-to-home cache looked like a good place to take them. The beagles wander side to side along trails sniffing everything in sight so the other half of our team took them to the grassed areas near the CO's other nearby cache to prevent them from getting tangled in any bikes. I wandered down the bike trail in the opposite direction to look for this cache.I had a feeling of dj vu as I approached GZ having found the now archived GEGP cache that was here just after the Covid restrictions were eased. After a brief search I found the cache in a logical spot and signed the log at 5:50 pm. I took a leopard and left a Welsh Dragon TB. I rehid the cache as found and covered it with natural camo. Thanks Franklj for the well-hidden cache and for showing me this incredible intersection of roads (Eastlink and Ringwood bypass), which must have taken some very clever engineering and construction. After finding the cache I wandered back down the trail to where we parked the car next to Sherbrook Park.
Happy Boxing Day!Fleabag- planned a lovely picnic and geocaching day but as we arrived to our first cache, a gigantic storm hit and we quickly retreated out of the heavy rain. After an indoor picnic and a few rounds of charades, Pictionary and taboo like games with spiffy-s family, the rain eased and we were on our way to our first cache of the day. This was a nice short walk and quick find. thanks.
Currently trying to finish the year with a streak and so heading out daily, for a cache. Plus there are a few other caches I need for challenges. Today we tried for a cache earlier but the rain ended that... so with clearer skies we had a stroll to this. All good at GZ.Thanks to Franklj for the fun and the adventure.
After a boxing day lunch and a few board games the rain finally cleared up so we headed out for a couple of nearby caches and this was own of them.Fleabag was onto this one straight away. Thanks Franklj for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
A nice quick and easy find on a beautiful sunny afternoon stroll around the area. Thanks for the cache.
A great spot for a cache and a nice detour after a bit of Xmas shopping. I enjoyed the walk and was surprised at how busy it was with muggles and their seasonally attired K9 muggles. Thanks Franklj for the cache, nicely hidden
Saw this pop up about a month ago, and I thought I reckon Ive been there before And so today as I streak toward my streak as I wandered in to the GZ I thought I Definitey reckon Ive been here beforeQuickly followed by yup, even remember getting wet down the back of my neck from the trees / bushesThanks for re-invigorating this hide.
Coming back from the shopping in Croydon and stopped here for the short walk. Never been on this part of the Mullum Mullum trail before. Need to widen my search a little but that was a quick easy find. Cache in excellent condition. Thanks for the cache Frankj
This is one of many geocaches that I have found over the last 12 months, but have not got around to logging. Sorry for the generic log. Just catching up now.
I am a bit slow off the mark for some of these so close to home. Another closest wiped off the list here. A short Friday evening bike ride to an area I know very well.. thanks
Found at 12:37After failing to find the other new cache I headed down the path. It was an easy find here even though the coords were a little off for me today. Thanks Franklj for the cache
Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks Franklj for the cache.
I was here not long again for a second to find at night, so I knew where to park and walk. Met an interesting man on my way to GZ who was super keen to share his knowledge about the trail and his views on how it should be managed better. One of his ideas was that goats should be placed in the fenced area near the creek as they will eat the introduced weeds but leave the indigenous flora alone. Apparently he has a website and made a documentary about land mismanagement by government. Thanks for the cache Franklj.
Caches Found: 12699First To Find : 147Sidetracked Cache Finds: 103This morning, I wrapped up work early and planned to join Rebel Acts for some caching fun.Cheers Franklj for the cache
Ooh this place looks familiar We have a calendar hole to fill today, so after picking up the kids from school we headed over to this part of the Mullum Mullum to grab some of these new caches before the rain. After picking up The Granite Throne, we followed the trail along to Overhead Roads. We had a hunch where this was going to be after reading the FTF log, as as we approach we could see we were right Signed in third place again! Then played on the apparatus on the way back to the car. Thanks for filling in some more parts of the Mullum Mullum Franklj. I hope it doesn't stop here. We were half expecting a new one to be published just as we arrived home!

{FTF} 8:31pmJust off the phone talking all things geocaching and preparing dinner when this notification came through.Lets go!It was a beautifully mild evening as I found my way along the beautiful Mullum Mullum Trail. As I arrived at GZ it was with a strong sense of dj vu - I remembered a previous find at this self same spot!Despite the familiarity, I still searched to-and-fro for what seemed like forever. Just that FTF-adrenaline running wild.Very happy to finally make the find and the FTF. Thanks for placing it along this great trail Franklj.BTW Id just attached a lucky Signal mascot that my wife had made to my caching bag. Now an FTF. A coincidence? I think not.[Signals for sale ](https://madeit.com.au/collections/Little-Shop-of-Crochet)
