Had a bit of a search but had to cut it short because of council workers working nearby
This one was a nice and quick find in a container type that I'd already seen a fair bit today around Cronulla. The hint was surprisingly helpful and soon I had CIH. As it was getting dark I quickly signed and replaced it so I had time to tackle one more cache before heading back to the train station. TFTC!
After a dawn event to watch the sun come up after the winter solstice this morning, I headed over this way to find a few more caches today. A lovely way to spend the morning of what has turned out to be a beautiful day. Thanks for find #6243TNLN
A Sutherland Shire caching day was planned with decent weather and a spring in our steps. After tyding up a multi from last week it was off to learn the history of the various suburbs. Whilst trying to remember 2013 let alone Christmas 2013, Oldmorty quickly cirlcked a tree and retrieved the cache. TFTC!
On a cool overcast day, morty8888 and I set off for a days caching around the Sutherland Shire. On the menu we're four Jigsaw puzzles which had been solved earlier at home, three traditionals and a previously solved multi. We recalled spending time looking for this cache previously, however, today we heeded the hint and quickly had the CIH. TFTC Nana Nel.
Now I've definitely been to this park before but never had time to find this cache.Today I had the park to myself, very peaceful!I found myself at an excellent example provided by nature and following the hint did not look in the obvious spot. That paid off as I quickly spotted the cache. TFTC # 6089
Found It!Gave the obvious spot a very thorough search but didn't find a cache there. Then looked elsewhere and soon found it!TFTC
#17 Cycle down to Kurnell and Cronulla. Collected this one on the way. Hint made for a quick find. Thanks for placing this cache Nana Nel #2649
In the area for a memorial breakfast for a recently departed friend. Lovely sunny morning and a nice walk into the park. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
This place can be super busy (depending when you come) but managed to find a spot nearby the cache. A pretty quick find here- had found the previous incarnation too. TFTC!
Ah yes! we remember. Quiet different to the original design. Found while out with Mrs A. TFTC Nana Nel.
Found while on a walk on a warm evening. Lots of people still swimming and picnicking. Thanks
Happy Australia Day Had a refreshing swim at Eloura. Beautiful clear and clean. After lunch at my favourite cafe in the mall, I took a walk in the heat to this cache. I thought it might have been hidden the same way as the original, so I spent too long looking for something that was not there. As I was about to give up, I took a closer look near GZ and found a well hidden cache. Nice one.
# 21362After meeting the CO at an event yesterday and asking for another hint it was quick find today. OCW Googlehihihi and EverestHigh after the BND Event in Brighton and we quickly found this one; TFTC NanaNel!
Covering the event cache in case I need it for a Challenge.Took a while to find because I was looking for a camo similar to the original.
Found in the company of Wazza9 with a little assistance from the CO! We remember the original cache well. Hard to believe it was so many years ago! TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
Ive been getting the caches in Nana Nels Christmas series on, or as close to Christmas as i can since 2018. While I have been here before and had no trouble getting parking I had some issues finding a car space this time. In the end i was able to slip into a tiny spot a couple of streets away. While there were a lot of people out in the park i had the GZ to myself. It didnt take long to find the cache. Thanks. #1743
For reasons that escape me, Brewmaker didn't want to race out for the FTF yesterday. Even phlphotos offered to drive me to get it. But Brew wanted it for himself, not me!Anyway, as the FTF had gone to LegoLads (well done) yesterday, we headed to Cronulla this morning. After going around in circles, and getting spooked by a bird, I saw it from my level. After replacing, we went for a stroll by the water, then headed home for a well earned rest. TFTC
I was out for a family lunch when this was published, then I headed off to the SS Christmas Event, hosted by the CO. There were many taunts, asking why I wasn't chasing the FTF. I only thought it fair that I share them around, though GeodogZelda was getting itchy feet. Phlphotos even offered to drive her to grab the FTF if she really wanted it!Anyway, I snoozed and I loosed, and the latest FTF Hound rival, LegoLads, was able to nab it while I was still at the event. So this morning we took a drive to Cronulla. The location was very familiar as I remember the original being one of my early finds when I had just started caching. It took awhile as I circumnavigated the one huge tree at GZ. I saw the hole and a rainbow lorikeet flew out as we walked past. Finally I had the right side, and spotted a familiar caching camo. After signing and replacing, we went for a walk along the shoreline of Gunnamatta Bay.Merry Christmas and TFTC.
Well this was a very pleasant {FTF} both because I finally appear to be starting to see the world through the COs eyes and because I had assumed with @wazza9 having his Christmas Event not all that far away from GZ I would have been pipped by a horde of local geocachers! When this came in I was in the middle of a concert which while extremely enjoyable also meant I would be missing the Event so near my homearrived home and thought I may as well go for a drivethis was a welcome consolation thanks NanaNel!
