Back in Feilding as i wanted a few caches for today and check out wool situation at the Op shops there. This was nicely placed and luckily i had no school kid muggles come any where near where i was looking and soon i had it in hand as it had a similarity to a couple of others i visited today . I took nothing and left nothing and all was well with the cache . Thank you for this burst of new caches over here in feilding .

TwigNZ and I spent a few hours in Feilding after popmac's "Calling the Troops" ANZAC Day meet&greet event two days ago, and we decided today to continue the adventure!I told Twig to "turn right onto Sherwell St East" [indicates left] "I said right! Oh, you can't turn right, it's a paper road [:|]"Searching along the fenceline, my compass took me to the decoy and I found the real one soon afterThanks for the hide!

There was a sports thing happening nearby but not paying me any attention, happy with that. Nice easy find here, classic for those CO.An unexpected opportunity to find a couple of caches as I progressed fromone appointment to another important get together later in the day. I had a few choices to find, and also arranged to borrow a TOTT to enable a find with Phronimos. Thanks so much to all the CO today.

Today I'm heading up to Palmerston North and Feilding on a bit of a numbers run to help boost my qualification efforts for the Bulk Finding Elective of GC30AD8 DGSc Challenge. Over the last few months there have been many new caches published up that way, so I'm hopeful of being able to find 50+ today.Having got my day off to a flying start with the Lockwood Power Trail, I thought I'd then head off to my anticipated furthest point in order to start caching back towards home. I had spent most of the afternoon in Feilding, finding many of the recently placed caches. Early evening was drawing in, but I was still going...Another good hide from this relatively new CO. By now I had a good idea of a common hide theme so this was a quick find for me here today, even if it was in the second one I looked at. No issues to report, so everything was placed back as found once I'd added my name to the log.Thank you for setting this one up Smile

Having spent the beginning of the weekend in Wanganui, it was time to make my way back home to Wellington. I chose to go the long way, via a few caches that I wanted to get, and a few that I had previously missed, and a few that were just there. Having found a few caches by this CO now, I am starting to get familiar with one of the more common styles used. Which meant it did not take me long to spot this nice hide.---Thanks to DadandKidsNz for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

Another good one to find on a public holiday like Xmas Day (or Good Friday). To freely search, find, sign, and return another clever little cache is an opportunity too good to pass up. All good here. TFTC

#13,793. The run up to Christmas has been seriously busy at work and I haven't managed to do any geocaching for over a week. But I am now on Christmas leave and I needed a road trip to help me put work matters behind me. My main aim today was to get some solved puzzles near Feilding, do an adlab and pick up any other caches along the route that took my fancy. Parked nearby and went over to look for the cache. Inspected a few places but none looked that promising. Then noticed something that reminded me of another cache and checked it out. Yep the cache is hidden there. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks DadandKidsNz for hiding it here.

We left a slightly chilly, and a little bit gloomy day in Palmerston North for what turned out to be a warm sunny afternoon in Feilding. We had time for just a few geocaches mostly that had been published since our last visit. It was quite nostalgic driving alongside this school. We spent much of several days here as 1999 became 2000. It was the event centre for the World Masters Orienteering Championships. Feilding was the location of the first orienteering event in the world in the new millennium! The hint was very useful at this cache site as the GPS contradicted it by pointing us 5m into the property. Nevertheless we knew not to go there so let geo-sense take over. Hmmm, better check this out and sure enough there was the cache - a nice little hide. TFTC DadandKidsNz .

Saw notification and quickly told dad there was a new cache. We jumped in the car and off we went. We had no pen on hand when we got to GZ so we found the cache, then sped to a nearby dairy and got a $1.70 pen that was in a defective pile which seemed quite high, and quickly got back to GZ. We can see why it was in the defective pile now. {FTF} 5:24PM This cache was very well done and gets a FP. This CO is doing very good caches! keep it up!TFTCSL thanks for this new cache!
