I'm on a road trip from the NSW/Vic border. We have been caching along the way and have now turned for home. I was originally looking in the wrong spot and then I spotted something suspicious and found GZ. It looks like the screw on the bison is not holding and it wouldnt screw up tightly again.
Found when we stopped in town for a look at this museum. Easily found when trusted instincts not the gps. TFTc
Quick find at this old historical building...loved the history here and the sneaky hide..TFTC and ?
I had a couple of days off work so we set out to see some more of the wheatbelt towns. On our way back to Perth and we stopped in Cunderdin for a coffee. I have grabbed a cache here before and this was another easy one, juswt the type I like when travelling. TFTC Barnzy12
Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. We camped north of Kellerberrin last night, then continued our journey on a rather circuitous route towards home, finding caches along the way.The cache was found in good order. Thanks Barnzy12 for the cache.
Found with e.gregory1 during a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia and return. After staying near Kellerberrin last night, we detoured around the general area to locate a selection of caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Barnzy12!
The bottom had come apart from the top so it took a bit of creative thinking to retrieve Out and about caching in the wheatbelt.TFTC Barnzy12 this is find #17183 for us.
Quick stop as we head east with iluvtrekking. Convenient to grab a coffee to go as well. Thanks B12
Found without being too suspicious or weird. Found with Caperdoodle 2 on our Northam road trip. The local cat was cute.
Found it after our adventure lab. No pen for us today though so here is our evidence. Tftc
Very cool! We were visiting all the pump stations on our way back to Perth, cool to find this
We made plans for the Easter weekend to head to the Wheatbelt and do some exploring. We left home early this morning with Mukinbudin being the destination for our first night. What kinda person heads into the outback during a heat wave in summer to hunt caches??US!! Off on a road trip with the boys for another adventure to hit the Aurora Ranges plus some along the way. Some logs abbreviated as G.Loved the easy removal ingenuity used here Many thanks Barnzy12 for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures. This will be my 6965 find.
Some time back, the Cockburn Crew discussed a desire to knock off the remaining caches at Helena and Aurora Ranges that had been published since we had each visited last. Time was ticking before the entire crew would no longer be available for such an escapade, and so this would only leave one option a summer time run. As luck would have it, it ended up being one of the hottest weekends on record in the state. Temperatures in the Perth Metro tipped above 45 degrees and it was even hotter across the Wheatbelt. While there is no records from the Ranges, it is safe to say it was even warmer there. Despite the anxiety associated with the heat, we pushed on with the mission of completing as much of the series as was feasible, noting our time constraints. The first night was to be at Marvel Loch, to enjoy a couple of cold ones at such a remote pub and pick up an unloved cache in Mount Palmer. We rolled in around 4.30pm and headed off to The Rock Zone cache at about 5.30pm. It was a magic view at sunset, but we had to head back after dark. Thankfully we made it to the pub in time for food and a couple of bevvies. Thank you Barnzy12 for placing this cache.
Another quick find while doing a nearby AdLab, always great when you can combine the 2.Thank you Barnzy12 for placing and maintaining Goldfields Water Supply Scheme - Pump Station No3 for us and others to find and enjoy!
After spending a few days in Gawler it was time for to drive my mums (well my car now) from Gawler back to Perth. This was day five travelling from Coolgardie to home in Balcatta on a 5 day 3,100km adventure. There are hundreds of signs saying do not drive tired so geocaching helped with that.I trucked on across the beautiful scenery grabbing many caches. It was a nice cool beautiful morning and i headed out of town to grab some caches to the north and back into town to grab a couple then headed west grabbing lots of caches on the final leg of my adventure. This was a very quick find. Thanks for the cache Barnzy12.
