My husband was playing golf this morning so i had a plan to go for a nice bike ride and collect some smileys along the way. I left early due to a storm prediction at 11am and arrived at the suggested parking for Cycle tour #1 to start my ride at 6.30am and all up i found 25 caches in just over 4 hours with a nice stop at one park for a picnic breakfast i took along. I had a great ride and enjoyed the serenity . What a great day to be a geocacher .At GZ i saw a likely hiding spot and looked here and there and there it was. great container. Thanks EJS20 for taking me on this great cycle trail.

Day Zero of the GCLOGAN extravaganza of geocaching. I was caching with a couple of friends from ACT, well one is returning soon, and this was one of nine caches and 10 AL points that we found. All that we tried were found, not always easily, and after signing, the caches were returned to their hiding spots. At this location we had some trouble pinning the GZ down at first as our phones were guiding us in opposite directions. Found it was though, and the log now carries our names. Off to the nearby Event.

WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 148 - Logan Day 1. GCLOGAN event day 0. I was joined by Smitten Granny for the day and we started with the morning tea event at the old Butter Factory. There is a lot of history there. After the event was done there were caches on the park outside and another park down the road. Cosmonaut97 came along and after a pile of caches we went down to Beenliegh to do some labs. Once all that was done it was back to the van park and chance to catch up with some more Canberrans before cooking dinner and trying to get some logs done. With a few minutes before the event we wandered over here to check out his cache. We had to try a few trees before getting the right one, but once we found it, it was fine. Thanks for the cache EJS2049180.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Whittlesea Event 2022 A#495**Albida**

Headed south this morning for a few early morning caches ahead of a geocaching event held on the south side mid morning. After completing a new lab series this morning I made my way to a safe spot to park and quickly found my way to ground zero. The cache was quickly located and removed from its hiding place.Log extracted and my mark made for prosperity. After returning the cache to its hiding place I was off on the next adventure. On my way to a looking major milestone.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache for the enjoyment of others.Cheers

After the morning CITO at Mt Taylor Reserve, another event was scheduled at the Butter Factory at lunchtime. I arrived here well before the event time so I decided to go look for the 2 caches here before going up to the tearoom. I circled around this area a couple of times before I finally caught a glimpse of something that turned out to be a very nicely camouflaged cache. I signed and replaced it just as a few other people wandered over to look for it. Thanks for the hide EJS20!

After this mornings CITO it was off to grab a couple of caches and then a nice get together at the Kingston butter factory and little shop nearby. There are two caches in this area and it was a nice walk to grab both before the event I can fully recommend the factory burger at the pixes cafe. It is just huge and worth it. These caches were in good condition, we signed the logs and replaced them as found.

After the great event close by today we came to find this cache. It was spotted and retrieved before signing the log. Once it was replaced as found we used the natural camo to keep it from muggles eyes. Cheers and happy caching!

We had an early morning Tardy Mouse Event in the City. Then hatzofff had a medical appointment at Sunnybank. It poured raining the whole time she was here. and we were wondering just what to do net to pull in few caches for the day. After a quick dash to Beenleigh to do some maintenance (radar said no rain here - Ha ha!!), we set off for a few others, but the ground water was just a bit too much. This was our next on target cache - a relatively new one at that.Unlike this CO, I hate shopping, but don't mind Markets.Cache signed and replaced as found at 1.26 pm on 16th January 2024. TFTC, EJS20. We must meet up at an event one day.

An early morning start to the day with an event followed by a little maintenance and then some unfound caches. We attempted a few other caches but gave up as it was too wet. The rain steadied so took off for this one.Spied on approach.TFTCache EJS20

Still not able to ride the trails, and ore rain today. Oh well lets see if my luck will hold and do another gutter bash. After a quick check on a couple of my own hides I headed over this way. I have not been here since it has had a make over.Nice and quiet at 6am made for easy hunting. Of course I started at the perfectly wrong spot and had to walk almost all the way around to the right spot. [B)]Thanks for bringing me back to a spot I have not visited for years.

Well that was an experience.I drove to the area the way that I have done for years to find that they have changed the entry. I decided to park in the ParknRide and walk from there. I had noticed that there were a number of large Fire appliances parked close to where the GPS was indicating. It wasn't until I got close that I realised how close they were. There was a squad of trainee firemen doing some parade training in the shade of a tree about 15m from GZ. From the instructions from the officers it sounded as though they may have been on their first parade.I did a tentative first pass of the area while the GPS settled and I decided that I could search a bit more thoroughly while they were occupied and most had their backs to me.Luckily, I spotted the cache quickly and, quietly, removed the cache and signed the log. The parade had been dismissed before I could return it but no one saw me replace the cache. One to remember.TFTC EJS20
