Today we headed to Ulverstone to attend the events and on the way home we did a few caches along the way, and this was one of them. A warm but a tad wet during the day down the coast.Cache and contents in good condition. Many thanks for your cache placement here.
I f we stay another night I will take the push bike for a ride & follow this trail a little further. TFTC
TFTC. Cache and contents are in excellent shape. Add these ones to adjacent found ones from a previous walk.
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Staying nearby so we could get out and do some of the bike trail over the next few days. Missed a few this end, so while hubby had breakfast I grabbed this one. An easy enough find at GZ.Thanks Angus88 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Today I needed to try and find 15 caches for my daily target to get to 22k by the end of 2023. So I decided on a Xmas bike ride. The bike ride reminded me I am quite a lot unfit, the terrain was much hillier () than I anticipated. I had to push the bike up some of the hills but it was fun going back down them on the way back.I cycled out to the furthest cache and then cached my way back to Railton. Nice 16 finds for the morning.Back to Beryl the Moho for scrambled eggs and Tassie salmon on muffins. I had earned it!!!Nice quick finds on all the caches too.Great little series looking forward to the rest of them when we visit Sheffield in the New Year.TFTC
Another quick find as continued along the trail with Benji the geopoodle keen to press on on this new walk.TFTC
Headed along a very familiar track with a couple of muggles about. The cache was soon found with all being ok.Many tftc Angus88.....thoroughly enjoyed...cheers ST.
A track we have ridden many times in the past and again today in pursuit of the two recently placed caches here.A quick find at GZ in a muggle free area.Quite a few tree roots across the track make this flat ride a bit more challenging. Thanks Angus88.
Today was set aside for a caching expedition, so we have planned one around Railton, Merseylea, Stoodley, Kimberley and Lovett's Flats. Got a "baker's dozen" in mind ! #4 on our trail this morning. A convenient addition to Angus' rail trail series, and a perfectly enjoyable day for it to be sure.! All good at GZ. Thanks for another one Angus.
This afternoon we headed to Devonport to see family who were boarding the Spirit of Tasmania this evening as they headed to the mainland for two months. After spending a little time with them and giving them early Christmas presents, we headed to Railton to look for the two new caches and to visit other family who live in the town. It was a pleasant afternoon with regular sun shine and little or no breeze. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. There being no other entries in the logbook, we will claim {FTF} at 15:15. Thanks Angus88 for this cache and others you have placed in the area. Then it is was off to look for the other cache before catching up with another branch of the family.
