We had ordered a pizza nearby but pick-up was in 15 minutes. So what to do whilst we wait? A cache of course! Parked at the listed coordinates and quickly jumped out to grab the sign info, and sat in the car to work it out. New coordinates soon popped out and we were headed down the bike path towards the cache! Thankfully a quick find on arrival, before returning to the car with the perfect amount of time left to go and pick up the pizza! Thanks for the cache a fun night adventure with Scaphoid
Being relatively new to caching there is a lot that Im discovering and enjoying. One of those things that is a new discovery is caching trips. Loci612 and I had discussed a trip to Sydney for a specific event, unfortunately, I couldnt make the event but I was still able to enjoy a good few days of caching with friends.Day 2 was all about focusing on getting some cachers with some good stats, particularly some high-terrain caches. We had all day in Sydney to spend caching so we were both exhausted by the end. It was the end of our caching day now, this was the last cache we picked up as it was on our way home. A nice easy multi, just how we like them! TFTC DaJakeBoy
Nice and easy multi, love these kinda caches, easy riddle and not to far from wp1. TFTC =)
Collected the required information from the sign and returned to the car to do the calcs. With reasonable looking coords I walked up the path where a quick find was had. Cache all good. SLRC as found. Boy those bats were being pestered by big white birds - similar to bin chickens. TFTC
Saw this cache quite prominently from the walking track, but had to get my knees on the muddy ground to get the CIHTFTC!
#10195 (3 of 3 today)Headed out to the northern beaches for some finds today before tonights Sixers game at the SCG. Had trouble with one, no trouble with another and a systematic search at the third. And home in plenty of time to head back out.But that humidity is killing me!###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION ###Grabbed the info, crunched the numbers and unlike everyone else spotted nothing. After giving it up and finding *#6* I stopped at the shelter and had a look at my calcs. And there was an error. Not a big one but big enough. So arrived at my new GZ and immediately noticed a significant difference in the two spots. Then I noticed the container. OK, simple when you have the right spot.Completed signing duties and replaced, then time to head home.SLTNLNTFTC
Just checking your newest hide for a coming caching expedition and I noticed the Favourite Point I awarded this cache for the series had not come through. All fixed, it's definitely there now!
We were after a cache find for New Years Day, to nab the "Greetings 2024" Souvenir on the most appropriate qualifying day rather than just a random day during the coming week, and this new MultiCache in Balgowlah was our closest unfound cache to home.Parked the geomobile in Pitt Street and then headed over to WP1, where the required information was quickly gathered, and after a few computations we were off to final GZ. Followed the pathway, with the raucous noise and pungent smell of the many Grey-Headed Flying Foxes heavy in the air as we walked, it wasn't long before we arrived at final GZ and made a nice quick find of the cache container. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found.TFTC DaJakeBoy, and a Happy New Year to everyone Find #6572
Parked at WP1 and collected the necessary information. Walked down to GZ, where, after having adjusted a minor mistake in the calculations, we soon had the cache in hand.
Last one to complete the series. This is a great walk and well worthy of having geocaches along the way. I've done it many times with my geodog but today I cheated and drove here. I recognised this spot as having a cache not far from the starting point sign.Collected the info and headed off towards GZ. When the metres were down to 8m I started looking and quickly spotted the hide. Very good co-ords, 0m.Thanks for the series. Good hides with a variety of containers. Kept me thinking!Favourite Point for the series. TFTC # 5707
After going for a swim and some lunch at the mall we came to this one where the calculations were quickly sorted. As we were looking for the final we were jumped by some very painful ant! Not wanting to spend more time with these ants we PAFed a prev finder and then we quickly found the shining treasure. So replaced back with some leaves. TFTC
A nice, easy multi after completing the trad series. Off to GZ, where the bats above showed us the way to the cache. We spotted a shiny object and had CIH. TFTC
A nice end to this new Trad mini-series along Burnt Bridge Creek. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC DaJakeBoy
