Logs
Found at 13:32 with Olga, after I played a clown in the Stirling pageant. It was easy to forget that I still had the makeup on, but passers-by looks reminded me.Nice little tucked away seat.Hey bradnem, I hope she found it.
Naaaw had to find a cache with this name!Visiting the city of churches, nice to grab some caches whilst here. Thank you bradnem for placing this game piece here, contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
Another of the fun finds along the journey Found in an obvious place thanks to the description but 18m from GZ according to my GPS Cheers bradnem and TFTC
Quick find once I used the updated coordinates. Container unfortunately quite wet inside.
The whole time I searched, and searched and finally came back to my original spot, there it was!! My daughter was next to it the whole time!! TFTC, Signed logbook, TN, LN. Bag wet, logbook ok
I followed the arrow to the opening. Seat!?? I looked for a log. Nope. I then went to the OzG coordinated and found the prize. Then there was Thanks bradnem and clear skies from TeamAstro. Yay, time for a Tuesday mystery tour of the hills. The starfish had mapped out our tour of the hills.Ttrogg picked up the Rat from her nest. Then we set out to met up with the Starfish at his den.Cache was quickly located, logbook stamped and cache replaced. Tftc
Something special or unusual goes here:I took a seat and could see the cache. Didn't see the blackberry cane and got struck in the retrieval. Stamped I was a little more careful replacing the cache. [B)]The Generic Bit:Another Tuesday Trekking for the trio of puzzle solvers. My turn to plan, so Ttrogg picked up S.A. Sewer Rats and came to my pond to set out from there. [^] I planned a circuit down towards National Park for a few puzzles and then back to Mt. Barker but we decided to do the Mt. Barker area first whilst the sun shone. Didn't get to do many in National Park but there will be more Tuesdays to come. Of course we got a few close caches whilst passing as we made our way around the hills game board. ***Thanks bradnem for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
I had a long lunch today, so took the geopups to Woorabinda so they could sniff out a few local smells, and I could sniff out a few caches!. Saw the logs about the coords being out - yes by about 20m. Once I found the item in the hint it was a straightforward find. A lovely spot.
Came over from Woorapinda, was a nice 300m walk, probably better and shorter from the other end.No way that was at that spot when I DNFd this last year, despite the then bad co-ords and mulch!TNLNSL
Yay thanks The tip was very helpfull but the co-ordinates were off by heaps but I fun findAre clueThe hind helps Next to you on the right hand side
Found on a great day for a walk at Woorabinda Wetland. The cache was located at S35 00.843 E138 43.030. Thanks for the cache bradnem!
****S 35 00.842 E 138 43.028****Needed to do some maintenance near Meadows so made up a list of a dozen newish trads I could look for on the way to and from Knee Deep, Knee Deep. Added a puzzle, a multi and a letterbox that were just too close to where I was not to be looked for. By the time I got home, after the cat's feeding time, all fifteen had been found and this was one of them.Am sure that there was no cache in the place where this one was found when first searched for soon after publication. As the CO has not updated what are obviously poor co-ords have included my take on better co-ords.TFTCCache #14831 for me.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
found this on a lovely weekend outing with gridge98 after our 5km run at Cleland this morning. TFTC!
A nice walk down and into this one, the cache co ords are a long way out here but was able to find the cache thanks to the hint.Today after parkrun in Cleland, courtneyrose_ and I headed around the hills for the morning finding a few new caches before attending an event in flagstaff hill. Thanks for the cache
Found It!A nice little walk in here. The coordinates are well out but the hint took me to the right spot and I soon found the cache!TFTC
Second time looking for this one - previous logs helped and hopefully these coords will help future cachers TFTC SL S35.00.844 E138.43.023
SAt down for a bit and eventually found the cache. I have been to this park a few times for caching.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A nice reserve. Co-rds a bit off but easier when follow a previous log. Left a TB. Thanks bradnem.
Love walking around Woorabinda reserve and spotting the birds. Took a deviation from the usual path to pick this cache up. After taking a little rest on the bench, soon had CIH. Just watch out for the blackberry canes! TFTC bradnem.
Hello I everyone. Great to hear the cache was found after a few DNFs. I believe the co ordinates are slightly off. I will visit the spot this week and fix the co ordinates for future. Thanks
Today was a cache day for me to get another day/month cache I hadn't done yet. Off I went to this one as it was the closest and the most recent. I got to GZ and wondered if I had done something very wrong. A clearing and no hiding spots. On top of that, someone had whip-snipped the area. Damn. I opened the cache page on my phone and looked at the cache notes and clue. A seat?... What seat??? I walked in the general area and there it was. About 30 metres from GZ and hidden slightly from the path. I looked around it and nothing. After reading the logs, I thought this was to be a DNF for me. I had a feeling it had to be around here somewhere as being right next to the bench was to mean the cache was exposed to muggles. After a brief search and a couple of prickles in my clothes from those damn blackberries, I saw something. Looks like the whipper-person had piled a heap of cuttings on top which really hid it. YAY! I noticed the log book was blank. Really? DOUBLE YAY!! I am claiming this as a FTF as you need to prove you've found it by logging in the book. There was no mention of a replacement (I'll edit this post if it is) so this made the trip worthwhile. Took Stickers, left Plastic Pears. Cheers.
The bench, as detailed by the only finder (friend of CO?) are approx 20m from the listed co-ords at **S35 00.841 E138 43.027**I found nothing at the listed co-ords, nor a bench either. Also there has been a lawnmower or whipper snipper all around GZ which may have contributed ...This one may need to be checked, including the GZ co-ords...
