GPS was everywhere but found it in the end tftc

Day thirty five of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Hired some deadly treadlies and rode a trail around Napier today, a few AdLab stages and a few caches.Nice blue skies and light breeze, perfect caching weather. Riding south on the coastal trail, and it was just a slight detour to ride to GZ.A quick find. Is it a park and grab if you are on a bike?Thanks, Robmc.

Day 36 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and today hired ebikes and took a tour around the loop to Westshore collecting caches along the way and completing 3 Adventure Labs. What a beautiful day to be out and about in Napier.Thanks for contributing to an amazing holiday

The cache is still there to find. You just need to go where you don't think you should go. IMHO this could could be placed in a better spot. TFTC

Looks like it might be closer to the road, so didn't venture past the fence

May not be there now. The road workers may have found it as there are road work signs right where coordinates lead me to. I will keep an eye on it though.

Really would be difficult and dangerous to grab from the road. Easy grab if you walk 50m from the carpark. TFTC

Up from palmy staying in Napier for Easter. I Went for a 35km scooter round Napier, also found acouple caches that I havent yet found. I then later met up with my dad as he wasnt too far from where I was and stopped for a bit of a fish! As I arrived nothing came to hand as I came from the bike track side. Jumped the fence and was soon spotted. Not the best spot. I wrote in the log and placed the cache carefully back as found. TFTC. Thanks Steveo212 for placing this Traditional cache! #14,872. Park, walk and grab off State Highway 51 in Te Awa, Napier. Fortunately, there was a way to get to the GZ without walking on the highway nor needing to jump the fence. Apart from passing traffic on the highway, the pump track and GZ were all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find once after getting to the spot. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. An overnight trip to Napier for work. After a pleasant dinner, I wandered along Marine Parade in the dusk, picking up adlab locations. I also came looking for this one, although I felt horribly exposed, even in the dim light. Still, a quick find, once in the right spot. Cache dry, signed, and returned as found. Tftc!

We were docked in Napier New Zealand for the day on our ship - Holland America's Volendam. We took the Shuttle into the city to do two Adventure Labs and a few caches. We found 4 caches while walking to do the Lab Stops.Thank you to the Lab creators and to the cache COs for their efforts and for their Labs and caches.#####################This Cache: Quick Find - We were glad we were on foot, as there was no place to stop a car a GZ.

My 600th cache on vacation.

I walked down from the info centre. I approached from the other side of the road and then darted across for the quick find once the traffic was clear. This was my turnaround point today. Thanks for the fun find!

Definitely agree not to do this from sitting in your car. A good hint but not a good idea. TFTC

Passing through Napier in our camper van. Parked up 100 m away for the night and took a quick stroll to GZ. No problems finding the cache once I read the description. Thanks for our first cache of 2024 and a souvenir to go with it.

Found this quite quickly. Although it's next to the pump track, I would discourage anyone from taking kids here because of how close you need to be to the busy road to retrieve it.

Saw a new cache published today so thought we would go for an evening drive to Napier and grab cache while here.Have found a cache in this area in the past. Would not recommend grabbing from the car!! Nice little stroll to gz. Found quickly. A very busy spot to be looking in. Even though a barrier between us and road it didn't feel very safe.
