Very fun find.still not sure what hint means so I guess I found the cache by luck alone! TFTC
Was reading the hint to Mr b as we were approaching.... mrb instantly spotted the area we needed to search, he had a quick look, nothing. Mrs p looked and had cache in hand. We remember the last cache here which took us much longer to find. A nice cache again.Thank you kiwiscot19 for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5348
I have found all the previous hides here so know how tricky it can be with so many hidey spots. Struck it really lucky and spied what I was after soon after arriving. TFTC
Took me a while to find considering how visible it actually was haha. Like others, the hint only made sense in hindsight. Bit of a window into how people think differently. TFTC!
I was looking in the spot where I found an earlier version of this cache while nufrat looked in anther spot and found this version. TFTC.
Out with Agazo today, while agazo checked one end I kept coming back to the same place, I know what I found wasn't right but was sure I was in the right spot, then spotted something a bit different, got it, tftc
This one was a bit tricky for me but handy to know how to count Watch out for the ants they are guarding this micro cache
Pretty little spot with a good bit of European history. Calling it an archaeological site feels like a stretch, but I guess they dug around a bit, and its fun all the same. I figured out the hint after finding the cache, but it does make sense in the end. TFTC!
**20,963**Thought we might be in for an extended search with this one but Mr Geckoh had it in hand within minutes of arriving at GZ, that is not to say it is not a very clever hide. TFTC
Spent a long time here looking for some of the more obvious moving bolts and other areas. Whatever it is its well hidden!
I remember the previous cache that was here, I struggled a bit but hubbie spotted it straight away. Today I'm back with dad. Dad had lots of ideas as to what the hint might mean, but none yielded a cache. I poked at a few things, but couldn't see anything or feel anything. Then I took my sunglasses off and spotted the cache.The hint still didn't make any sense but I replaced the cache in the same spot.
We had two of our grandsons staying with us so took them out to find a couple of local caches this afternoon. While they were impressed with the structure here they did spend a lot more time down at mud level collecting a few shells. Thanks for another interesting iteration of the hide here.
As this is my 3rd visit to this site to get a cache I knew Mk III would be a challenge as the others were. I found so many things that could possibly match the hint but the numbers didnt add up. It was 27 and I was very hot so decided to PAF to make it easier for me. Of course its there, I looked there but obviously not hard enough and the hint made total sense once the cache was found.
First day of the Christmas holidays for me, so I thought Id have a look for some of the latest caches around an area near where I live. Took me awhile to figure it out, and had to have a bit of a wander around to avoid some nearby inquisitive builders. But figured it out and had a good read of all the Information boards as well. Pretty cool to imagine what it mustve looked like back in 1903. Cheers for this!
Well FriwiNZ and Gorby have said it all really!I wasn't planning to go geocaching today, as I had 3 Concerts to attend!Was at the first one, Melody String Quartet, at my Library ,with my phone turned off, when this was released!Turned it on when getting to the car and saw this....so off to Limeburners Bay Half an hours drive away!I knew from past experience this would be a good one !Pleased to see Gorby hunting away...but he hadn't found it yet..Tried to make sense of the hint but we couldn't...so just felt everywhere we could randomly !!!!!!Great to see Team FriwNZ turn up!Perfect timing.Had a great natter about all things geo caching.FINALLY ....Gorby looked somewhere slightly different to where we had been searching....and something moved!Yay it was the cache.....Then we all noticed the Hint Items!!!!!!Many thanks, kiwiscot19 for the Entertaining morning.. Was as good as an Event!Favourite Point!Joint { FTF }
( ) I was at home when this popped out, in fact I was on the computer updating my cache finds for Friday when I had a large 12 hour day out with supernanny. That was a fun day!( ) But today, instead of my e-bike, I had use of my brothers car which happened to be parked outside ready for my use! So without any delay, I was off quick as lightning. Got to GZ in very quick time and no one was around when I got there. But off course until I find the log paper, I'm not to know if I have been first unless the watchlist goes off. ( ) So I started a search with no progress at all, 10 mins later I see a very welcome visitor - supernanny. "Come and help me find this thing" I said. Still, after another 10 mins of looking at the hint a million times and seeing how many ways we could interpret it, we were still none the wiser, then we had more visitors.... FriwiNZ and his son. But we ended up chatting more than finding. ( ) But at last I spotted an object, owwwhhh, it moved, took it out for the others to see and what do we see? The cache! Friwi senior pointed out the hint, and we saw the light of day as such. Great joy was had, and celebrations were almost in order. Don't know what amount of time I was here, probably a good 40 mins I suppose, but who cares, we found the cache and it just happened to be a joint {FTF} for me, Friwi senior and junior and supernanny, well done us. ( ) We were pretty determined kiwiscot19, and our determination paid off. Photos were taken and so we parted company. FTF#832
We came straight from my sons surf training out at Mairangi bay and spotted some people caching I wonder who it could be? me and little friwi thought of course it was supper nanny and gorby we met up with then looked for a while until we finally found it nice hint and great camouflage I guess its a joint FTF. TFTC
Had been caching over on the shore when this cache was published. We noted that it had been found and FTF had gone. It sounded like a challenging cache to find, so we made this our last cache of the day. We knew exactly where to go as we had previously visited Limeburners Bay to find previous hides. Within a couple of minutes, MrsJag had found the very well camouflaged cache. We then worked out what the hint referred to. FP for another great camouflaged cache
