I previously had a DNF at this geocache only a week ago on 24/05/2024, and upon a conversation with the CO, I realised that I was searching in a wrong spot. Not to worry, as I was keen to return and have baby Cottontail try out the nearby playground, but as she was asleep, it was left to me to revert back to the geocaching hobby. Knowing where I should have been looking, the cache was a quick find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [EJS20](https://coord.info/PR1MT4HV) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have converted this cache from a frown to a smile (without too much haste/duration). A Favourite Point for the simple yet effective theme and CO support.Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/[jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) stamp.----------Today, [@jesswrigley](https://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled across the river to Carindale for a three-year-old birthday party at miniBOUNCE. Baby Cottontail utilised the time travelling to nap, which provided an opportunity to visit a few geocaches in Norman Park and Coorparoo en route.

This was to be my final cache find for the day, and a strategic stop to visit the adjacent bakery. I had a good search at this location, and I'm fairly sure I found the spot where the cache should be - a good-looking nook to hide something within. However, the nook was empty despite a good feel around it, so I can't help but think that the cache may be missing (unfortunately). Hopefully, I'm wrong, but will see how subsequent visitors go; Thanks anyway [EJS20](https://coord.info/PR1MT4HV) for the cache placement. I'll be back in any case, as the nearby playground looks like a cool spot to bring baby Cottontail for a play!----------Today, I joined [Brissy Cat](https://coord.info/PR5XF6H) for a paddle on Bulimba Creek across two paddle sessions. Our first paddle was in Hemmant, departing from Bill Benham Park and targeting [Bulimba Creek Oxbow](https://coord.info/GC7FC96), and then we followed by a paddle the upstream section of Carina within the Minnippi Parkland. A thoroughly enjoyable paddle following the Bulimba Creek Canoe Trail.

20/3/2024 Find #6915A solo day out and after a brief and unhappy maintenance check on a nearby-ish cache I decided to grab a few caches out this way. With a family who were definite Toy Story fans, I can say this cache was quite cute. I was worried about the works going on by here - there is a nice new playground being built! But the cache is far enough away for sure. Thanks for the cache EJS20.

Returned safely and my f to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for fellow cachers to find.Cheers

After becoming completely soaked while looking for the last cache I should have gone home to dry out. BUT...I AM A CACHER and a little rain will not stop me.As I hopped out of the car my glasses fogged up from the air conditioner in the car and I had to wait for them to clear before I headed to GZ.I followed the GPS and it took me past the correct spot and I looked at a few other spots before it settled and I read the hint and decided on one particular spot and found the cache.TFTC EJS20

*FTF*Today I had a Christmas lunch meet up with a few past teachers from work. It consisted of a few drinks and a nice meal. It was great to see what retired life would have been like. It was getting on and I had chores and caches to find. I went over to the southside and found a couple of caches, done. Sitting at home later and listening to the rain I got a ding on my phone, oh new caches. Gees I was just over there, hmm not going in this. I checked my list and it seems I did have a blank spot for a *FTF* today so I planned a drive. There was a break in the rain and off I went. I arrived at gz and saw a couple of likely spots but one was very suspect. I checked and yes it was there. I opened the cache and then that moment of truth was it a blank log. Yes, you beauty, a clean slate, I signed the log replaced the cache as found and returned home. Thank you for the fun I had here tonight.
