#14,816. I was having a weekend up in the Manawatu region and good to be caching with a team today. Another fairly exposed cache site. However I soon spotted the cache container. This one opened easily so it showed the other identical container we had found earlier does have a problem (most likely its been cross-threaded). Signed the log and replaced the cache exactly where found. Thanks DadandKidsNz for hiding it here.

#15,111. Park and grab on Camden Street in Feilding. Fortunately, the GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Relatively quick find. Took just a little longer to retrieve and return. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.*Thanks for the geocache placement, and for bringing us to this site, and **.T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e.**.M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.*---### LET US HAVE A BLOCK PARTY!!! ###On **May 3rd, 2025**, we will be celebrating 25 years of geocaching in **Rotorua, New Zealand** with a special **Block Party** event. With Gap (of Fap and Gap) Weve run away from home for the weekend. Our plan is to cache til we dropThere was a bit of action on this street this evening, and we didnt want to be found hanging around. It took a few sweeps to dismiss some possibilities, and we crossed the road in case the coords were out. A resolute check of the original host and boom! Thanks DadandKidsNZ. TFTC.

Once again I am spending the weekend in Wanganui, and once again I have a Saturday afternoon free. Today I was prepared. I needed one more day of 50+ find to complete one part of the DGSc Challenge, and so today I was to focus on clearing out the Feilding area. An I did (mostly) thanks to a large number of recently published high quality hides, and a beautiful summers day. I had a lot of fun, spending ten hours floating around the region and gathering up Geocaches. Here's one I found.Once you know what you're looking for, it's right there---Thanks to by DadandKidsNz for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

In Feilding today to try and get some caches towards my 50 for the month for the Baker's Dozen. I zeroed in on the likely spot, only to find that there were some people with cars right there. After they disappeared, I tried the area, but no luck. GPS then took me across the road, so I tried that location, again with no luck. The nearby neighbour came out and called something to me, and his two big dogs came out and barked at me. I went a bit closer and asked him what he'd said (in case he was a geocacher givine me a hint). He said, nothing, all good, meanwhile the dogs were barking ferociously at me, so I retreated to my car. Not today.

Today I'm heading up to Palmerston North and Feilding on a bit of a numbers run to help boost my qualification efforts for the Bulk Finding Elective of GC30AD8 DGSc Challenge. Over the last few months there have been many new caches published up that way, so I'm hopeful of being able to find 50+ today.Having got my day off to a flying start with the Lockwood Power Trail, I thought I'd then head off to my anticipated furthest point in order to start caching back towards home. By now I was in Feilding, and starting to find some of the recently placed caches..I'm presuming this is a 3D print? It does look very good, so it wouldn't actually surprise me if it was turned rather than printed. Either way it was a quick find. No issues to report, so everything was placed back as found once I'd added my name to the log.Thank you for setting this one up Smile

My place of work is "Little Acorns " so this cache had special relevance to me. A beautifully crafted acorn. Mind you, I had to stand on tippy toes to be able to release the log. TFTC DadandKidsNz.

Lovely little cache Well done . I was aware of muggles stopping very close to take a photo of the heritage house a couple of houses along the road but they seemed oblivious to our efforts . we took nothinh and left nothing . Thank you for this hade . Another really hot day . We set off from Palmerston North around about 2.00pm just as the day was starting to heat up ! Our first stop was at Kitchener park which we walked through to once again complete the Adventure lab that was there . This time were finally more successful and it was lovely walking in the shade through the trees but then we searched on the other side to locate Riddles 2 with no luck ! we left there and headed into town to locate some of the clever new caches around Feilding . Each took a little longer than a park and grab as they are cleverly put together .

QEF here once we picked the right host.An after work mini session with tommygun9 to swoop up some of the recent new placements in Feilding. Wed both noted the smattering of Fave points awarded and were pleased with the hide styles and variety from this innovative new CO. As my map of potential available options shrunk by 8, this quick hail in 40 minutes was just the tonic thus cacher was seeking. Thanks to all the Cache Owner for their caches today, left some for another future visit(s)

This cache took a couple of circles before we made the find.T F T C DadandKidsNz.Capperz had suggested an afternoon trip this week to grab some of the new caches that had popped up over the holidays. This afternoon suited us both and the weather blasted down its sunny rays as we grabbed eight together and then I went on to grab another three plus two Adventure Lab Cache stages due to my map having a heap more unfound caches than his.Sadly the day finished with a DNF but I'm very happy with the overall total for today!

We were glad to take a short break from the family busyness on this Christmas Eve day, so we came over to Feilding for a little geocaching and lunch. Despite the unpromising weather the rain stayed away while we did our geocaching and only started up once we were safely back in the car after our last cache for the day? We were forewarned by previous logs that we might find this cache a bit of a stretch so we popped a sturdy small wooden box in the back of the car.. it didnt take long to spot the neat little cache but we did need the box to get up high enough. This container lid was much easier to unscrew than the Sandilands St Tree cache we had just come from. It is a smart little container. The log was quickly signed and all returned. TFTC DadAndKidsNz

As we were leaving for a trip to Feilding this morning, markhnz told us there were two new caches there, so we added them to the list. This nicely camouflaged little cache was a quick easy find, although the cache was beyond Mrs W.E.K.A.'s reach, and gets a favourite from us. No sign of Treescapes by the time we got there. TFTC
