Logs
I forgor to log this a while ago so i came back with the guy and we did it i climbed a bit. TFTC
Back in Newie this morning, this time for eldest novo's safe drivers prac. So I dashed off this time for some pole caching and this was the first one that I found today. The novo stick is really starting to show it's age but it's still got some life left in it as we now have our name in this log. TFTC and puzz, lee737.#2053
Thanks for the puzzle. And the nicely tucked away fishing hole, perfect for a spot of late afternoon arboreal angling.
Omg one of the better tee fishing caches we have done...easily 10mins tops...We were getting weird looks from some people close by. loved the puzzle solved this one a while back...thanks for the cache team737.
Can't remember solving this puzzle, but I probably had help from the CO Grateful for an easyish fish and for Buz21b's pole! TFTC!
Reperio 15:01Day 3 of our Newcastle geocaching escapade, and Master Vitruvius and I were up early to tackle some of the inner city caches before the rest of Newy started to arrive. I enjoy these types of puzzles and had a nice moment of satisfaction when the checker agreed. Today I got out the pole again which was on constant repeat this weekend, and it wasnt long before the cache was in hand.Gratias lee737As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Yay! A logical puzzle. Get out the pen and paper. Once solved, knew the location very well. I grew up in Waratah West, Just down the road in Parkhill Pde. This area has changed so much. Used to be just a hole in the ground. Might even have been a rubbish tip at one point. This hill was just barren cliff face. Anyway, a good fishing trip was had. I think i wrote 9/3/24 all day today. Living in the past. TFTC. Fav from me.
A sudden decision late last night to venture north today meant I had work to do. Fortunately, my half-asleep mind managed to choose some numbers that the checker liked. Ventured out with TC who spotted our target instantly. Thanks lee737.
Met up with Baktrak in Newcastle for a few caches and a lift back to Sydney. This was a fun puzzle and easy find with a fun retrieval. TFTC.
Applying my high logic I was successful catching this cache as squid fishing is most successful around or after dusk. (Less muggles too). TFTC Lee737
Find #1792A quick find today while out with Shaneo58 and Banj. Solved this puzzle with some help from the wife. Found the cache, signed the log and returned as found. Log and cache in good condition TFTC
A great day out caching with Banj5150 and Deni_f with a few laughs along the way. TFTC TEAM737
Enjoying a day of geocaching with The Odd Couple 2.0 today (Deni F and Shaneo58)Thanks to the fellas for the use of their vast tree fishing experience and the telescopic ladder.Find number 2 for me for the day, thanks to Shaneo58 for the excellent tree fishing, the log was soon signed and cache replaced. TFTC
Well I admit the puzzle for this one took me a couple of goes, not sure how I mucked it up the first time but got the green tick the second try, A very fun puzzle indeed. Today Mr Minion and I were finding some caches needing the tott's in the area. We got a park nearby and spotted the cache walking up to the tree and then a quick retrieve and replace. Thanks for the cache lee737 fav point for the fun puzzle and cache tnln replaced as found sl
After solving this one earlier I set out today to gain my first cache for 2024 and my first souvenir for 2024 hopefully many more to come. Thanks for the cache
I headed north today to attempt some of the recent Team737 caches. Since two of the others could only be accessed south-bound on Lookout Road, I decided to do this one first. I solved the puzzle last week after a few iterations and got the green tick from the checker, and I made sure I had the hooks for my pole before leaving home. The park near GZ was pretty popular today but fortunately the cache's tree was well away from everyone and I was able to do my angling in peace. It took a little while to spot the container, as I was looking a bit higher, but once I did I was able to hook it with my pole partially extended, sign the log and return it without any drama. Many thanks for the enjoyable puzzle and nice hide.

Our family does enjoy Logic puzzles, especially Mastermind, and Huntress thinks she is unbeatable with it. Usually, she is right because I always get stuck, assuming 1 is green or blue and she knows this. We chose to solve this one in the same way, and we then had the answer very quickly. After already going geocaching and heading back to the apartment, we had already rushed off for an FTF. We were just starting to relax back at the apartment when 2 new geocaches got released again. One right near we had just come from. Well, no use sitting in an apartment and doing nothing. So back in the car we go.Reading the cache description for a change, we weren't sure if we would be able to get this one or not. Especially after breaking our Squid Pole a few days ago in Goulburn. The hook is still in Goulburn, connected to the geocache 10 feet in the air. But it's better to try than just give up in advance.Found a great car park to stop at, and then we strolled over to the obvious GZ. We then soon spotted the geocache. Our ladder was still in the boot, but it was too far away to go and get. So I then had the great idea that I would just monkey climb the tree. The only problem was that I had to jump to reach the lowest branch and then hook my foot over the next branch. At was at that stage that my body reminded me I'm not as young as I think I am. But there was no way I could get my foot back over. As such, I had to continue using upper body strength to pull myself up and over. Once up in the tree, I enjoyed continueing the monkey climb. Even if at a few points, it stretched my leg flexibility. 999HK took a great video of me climbing and swinging back down out of the tree.No photo of the FTF log, as when upside down, my phone fell out of my pocket. I wasn't climbing down to get it again. This is definitely a favourite from me for an enjoyable climb and entertaining everyone else. Thanks for the cache, Lee 737.HunterPS.5,820th Geocache1,375th Puzzle Geocache 437th [FTF]
Love the old Mastermind game. But now I am back in Sydney, so will have to find it next time I am up in Newy!
We got all excited thinking that we were going to get a first to find but apparently we had already been beaten to it so we will claim the moral high ground for being the first to log it. Despite being in the open the local mozzie population were very hungry today. Signed with classic cache and sneaky ninja girl. This is our 1200th find for the year which equals our highest ever finds in a calendar year. TNLN TFTC.
