We are on a caravanning trip around Australia seeing the sights and finding a few caches along the way. We stopped in town and after visiting the information centre, a museum and having a bite toneat we got the bikes out and went for a ride. There seems to be a lot of uphills and downhill on our ride. Cache was spotted with the use of the hint. While we were here we spotted an enchidna. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache
Another well kept wall from back in the day when steel was too expensive so rocks were used .Many thanks to Tankengine for another walk themed cache.
Out of town trip, this was on the way, after a bit back and forth spotted the cache, nice wall
The team headed south by car for a few target caches as the weather was too lousy for a long hike and/or mountain cycle. At GZ we found the beautiful dry stone wall which is holding up remarkable well given its potential age and history. Shame that not more is known about it but time will tell as someone may come forward with more information. TFTC Tankengine.
A fun day caching with the dream team. This cache was one of the main targets for the day, and was a straightforward find at GZ and in excellent condition. Another cool wall! Thanks, Tankengine!
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Our first visit to ACT in that time.Moving today from Bredbo to Bega. We stopped at Cooma to visit the Snowy Mountain Hydro Discovery Centre for a looksee, of course we managed a coffee and breakfast whilst here . Once arrived at Bega showground we setup the caravan then headed out to explore some of the local area. TFTC Tankengine
Cooma Day 2Yesterday we drove from Adelong to CoomaHalf way into our trip we encounted a snow storm, the first snow of the season. As are not used to this we found it very scary. The car said zero degrees most of the way.Temperature only a little better today, the sun came out after lunch.A nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks Tankengine for hiding this cache.
After several inclement days of rain we are trying to make up for it today. Japaras back on,then off again as the showers turn into rain and back again. Never mind we're not leaving the caches here without a log entry. Thanks for one more Tankengine, and yes it would be interesting to know more about this wall where much labour was expended.
Heading towards home after the Canberra GeoBash, we stopped in Cooma for a couple of days. We've always had enjoyable times here. This morning we took a drive around the town and located a few caches. Mrs Varmint spotted this quickly and the log was signed. Thanks Tankengine.
Found on my trip towards Beridale to stay with my friend before heading to The Mile High Event at Tantangara tomorrow. Another great Wondrous Wall cache! My phone GPS was playing up but I found the cache pretty quickly regardless. TFTC!
Saw this new cache in Cooma this morning with no finds. Came over and got the FTF before grabbing a coffee. Tftc Tankengine
