A nice quick find. And good carparking too. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are off on a cruise around the south of the South. Great to be away. The Mega is over Sad and now it is time to head home. Last day on the road. and not many to find between here and home. Another great holiday done.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.

There were so many boots outside where we had lunch, but it was really quiet inside. Then we realized there was a packed conference room, plus next minute, a herd of cyclists arrived, so we had timed it right. Then we went to find this. Not there, there or there, but there.Thank you, ThatDarnBear

Its always good to find the cache of a friend, especially after moving the car after choosing a not so good parking spot . I saw Itchyfeet2020 looking in one area so I tried somewhere else (after reading the hint) and found the container. All good and dry inside. TFTC ThatDarnBear. And so 7 days after returning home from a five month trip to the UK and Europe, I am off on another trip. This time its within New Zealand as Itchyfeet2020 and I are on our mega road trip to Dunedin. We are focussing on particular caches for various challenges, as well as having a great lot of fun and seeing the scenery in our wonderful land. -LET US HAVE A BLOCK PARTY!!!On May 3rd, 2025, we will be celebrating 25 years of geocaching in Rotorua, New Zealand with a special Block Party event. Join us to celebrate 25 years of this amazing game, and that the very first geocache hidden outside of the United States, 25 years ago, was hidden here in New Zealand. You do not want to miss this event, so check out the "[GCAKR25](https://coord.info/GCAKR25) 25 Years of Geocaching NZ! event page, the [event website](http://25years.geocache.nz/) for more details, join the [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/924894455969387) group, and sign up to the [email list](http://25years.geocache.nz/?p=4) to get updates...If you intend to come, please make sure you get your "Will Attend" log onto the page as soon as you can in order to assist with planning the first ever Block Party in New Zealand.-

NZ_B and I are on a road trip to the Geo Toroa Mega. I'm also hoping to get a multi everyday, so it is now titled the "Mega Multi Road Trip". Today is Day 4 from Christchurch to Timaru. This cache was one on our journey. Added to our Timaru list. A nice spot, but there no time for the walk today. Thank you for bringing us here ThatDarnBear, great to collect another one of your caches. NZ_B made the find after I looked in all the wrong spots. It's nice to have a trip where, alongside targeted caches, we also take time to find one's on a whim or ones that take a bit longer. We have all day, and the caches are calling...

When deciding what to do over King's Birthday weekend the thought occurred to me that it would be a good time to cycle the caching power trail between Washdyk and Pleasant Point. Investigation on a topo map revealed that a nice 40km loop ride could be made from the NZMCA POP at Seadown to Washdyk to Pleasant Point and then down the southern stopbank of the Opihi River to SH1 and back to Seadown. Having completed the power trail of caches between Washdyke and Pleasant Point I headed north down Halstead Rd and then scrambled over the crash barrier with my eMTB and down the bank onto the southern stopbank of the Opihi River. I then followed along the stopbank all, the way to the Arowhenua end of the walk/cycleway. A fossick among the recently dropped leaves turned up the cache. Thanks for placing this cache ThatDarnBear.

[FTF] Merry Christmas We were sitting at home this morning trying to recover from a sugar coma from breakfast when the notification popped up about a new cache in town. We thought we might try in the afternoon but soon received our txt from a very persistent geo caching buddy in Wellington who politely hinted we needed to get down there.., i cave easily to peer pressure so i loaded the kids in the car and zipped up to grab it. Cache was an easy find but then there was a lot of debate whether to take the pretty bracelet or the tiny duck by the 9yr old, bracelet won in the end and we placed some more swaps in the container for the next finder. Thanks for the cache
