Unfortunately it is missing. I'm happy for a replacement to be left if anyone is able to. Otherwise I'll replace when next in the area

Found the obvious area but alas no container. Purloined by someone I guess. Maybe their need was greater!

#23635. We'd already heard from the others in our party that they were to be collected from the wharf, but this cache was under a kilometre away, so we decided to try our luck (and hope for a quick find). After the short walk to GZ the cache was a quick find (thanks to a good hint). Thanks for bringing us here; it's well worth a cache placement.

We overshot Stanley Place where we should have turned in (satellite view being no help with access) so StreetWalkerNZ had to do a tricky manoeuvre (lucky the road is fairly quiet). The two parking places were occupied, so we parked at the side of the road and made the short walk to GZ where the cache was quickly found. What a wonderful reserve and pou. So pleased we had the time to come here. Looking forward to seeing this area develop more. Thanks for bringing me here and TFTC.

We were docked in Akaroa New Zealand for the day on our ship - Holland America's Volendam. We started by going to the lighthouse for a cache and then headed up into the hills into the Garden of Tane. What a beautiful place and trails! We then kept going up and did other caches in a few cemeteries and at two monuments. We then went back down and did a few caches and a LAB in Town. We wound up with 9 caches on the day in our 9-mile hike/walk combo.Thank you to GH6710 for 4 of our caches and to the other 5 COs for their efforts and for the other 5 caches.Thank you also to the Lab creator for that Adventure.#####################This Cache: Quick Find - Beautiful place. Gets a FAV from us for sure.

I absolutely wanted to go to akaroa, maybe because I'm french, maybe because this small town is amazing. I walked a lot and i'm grateful to hear something about the history of nzl, thanks for your cache! I recommand also to go to the britomart monument, there is a little path below.

I very much love getting to visit the South Island. Until recently it wasn't something I got to do very often, but in the last year I've managed a series of mini-trips for geocaching, and here we are at the start of 2024 with another one. Just like my first SI trip in 2023, I've come to Christchurch to target a few specific caches to help with my Jasmer Grid, and qualification for a few challenges I'm currently working on.Having arrived an picked up my rental car, I wanted to head over to Akaroa, a place I've only ever visited once before on my first trip to NZ back in '88. It was winter back then, and left an impression in me of being stunningly beautiful. What would it be like in Summer? The answer to that is simply "more stunning". From the moment you crest a hill to see the harbour laid out in front of you, to strolling around the charming townships themselves, I'm so glad I came here today. That feeling is helped with also managing to eliminate 1 of my last 3 remaining NZ Jasmer Grid dates. So having done that, I came back into the township of Akaroa to have a wander around, grab some lunch, and a few casual caches such as this one.I had no idea that this cache had recently been published. It was only as I was signing the log that I spotted the FTF claim from Team_Gaters. Obviously there are no issues to report with this cache, and I soon added my name to the log before replacing it all back as found. Thanks for setting this one up.

**FTF** 805amA lovely drive out. Drove a bit further and parked up in the big carpark and walked the short distance back. Wow, what a spot. A poignant reminder of our history. A lovely Poi and rememberance spiral....and the future developements will only make this area more special.I hope your haybail wasnt a round one, it would have picked up some speed on the way downhill! Thanks for bringing me here.
