Came by yesterday arvo but there were too many people nearby to have a good look. Came by today and made the find. Good location, although these types of caches can be a bit annoying. TFTC!!! #2393
Normally I really struggle with these. I took a methodical approach and after 7 minutes we found it. Tftc
Filled in the time waiting for the fish and chips. Had a systematic search to meet the challenge. Great location. TFTC
Find#3045Feels like a while since I last went caching and with a few days away at Nelson Bay with my high school mates thought I would get away early and find some caches nearby. This was a tricky find and not my first time here either. There is a cache like this at Singleton and that took me 4 visits so very happy to claim this cache today Cache and log in good condition TFTC Scott&Romona
Looked for 20 minutes but couldnt find it. Searched in all the cracks and crevices but no luck.Tilly rose and dad
I was very lucky to spot this one straight away as I turned up. It can go either way with these sorts of hides... I either find it straight away, never find it, or find it after the fifth visit.Generic summary of the day:Today I cached from before sunrise till just after sunset, at which time I grabbed a pizza from Soliders Point and went back to my camp. Weirdos encountered: not necessarily a weirdo but saw a dude emerge from the barbers with the freshest mullet. He shook his head around like he was feeling good. I still cant believe people get mullet haircuts unironically.Worst public toilet of the day was at the rest area heading north to tea gardens, best was the loos at Fingal Bay surf club.Snack situation: a Bahn Mi at Lemon tree passage (or around that area) for lunch. Started the day with a Banana and about mid-morning discovered a donut from the day before so that was a bonus.Munzees Collected: zeroWeather: cool but sunny, with an afternoon of pleasantly warm and sunny.GPS conditions: greatOverall this was a very fruitful day and I am happy to find all of the caches I did. Thanks to the cache owners for placing the caches and maintaining them.TFTC!
Too tricky and a busy location. Not successful this time. Thanks for placing.
Another change in our plans for a overnight stop, with the weather that lille bit cooler, Power for some warmth was needed. Staying at the Bowls club for the night and driving around Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest.Total Caches Found 15929TFTC Scott&Ramona
TFTC and a nice quick find thank goodness since I have just had a hip replacement operation and didnt want to stand too long or bend too low. I was having withdrawal symptoms from geocaching and needed to do this one while staying in Hawkes Nest for a week.
Searched for 10 mins in the rain but no sign or feel of the trixy little thing! Got very black hands from something I touched (which took washing up liquid to remove the black) and then ruined my white and pink cap. Doh!
Up visiting a mate in Hawks Nest and came over to try and grab this cache .There is a lot of places to hide a nano here and it took a while to find the little critter . Difficulty rating sure felt a bit more than 1.TFTC Scott&Ramon's.
Struggled to find the cache. SLElliot and I were in the area and tried to look for this one after finding an one close by. Looked for about 15 minutes but had to leave due to needing to be back in Newcastle at a certain time.
We were a bit nervous after a previous finder took 20 minutes to find it, but we were really lucky that it took us 1 minute. It is always nice to have a visit here. TNLN TFTC
So much for a 1 difficulty, took me 20 minutes to locate the little bugger. Thanks for the cache.
OCW Geospark62. We couldve, shouldve been first to find if we wouldve got off the lounge and stopped watching the cricket! Thanks for the sneaky hide.
With Mobi702 who touched upon it first, and Terence TB, and just pipped at the post for FTF TFTC
It took a bit of Looking, touching more looking, but finally, we found a wee little treasure!Feel is best locater. With Sillybugger. The closest we have ever been to FTFGorgeous day on the water here at Tea Gardens.TFTC Lots of muggles, so we removed sat away and returned to spot when quieter .
