We are having an overnight at Maclean staying in the showgrounds. This is our last night on the road before returning to Port Macquarie.Today we are caching in the Maclean & Yamba area, there have been some amazing scenic views over the ocean while on our tour of the area.It was good to see a well stocked book library. Cache was quickly found. Thanks for placing this cache LynchFamBam

Its amazing how often I struggle with these particular hides. Another DNF was looming but luckily I have learnt to check every surface three times, since my fingers passed over this one twice.Phew. All good in the end so TFTC. Yes, I was distracted by the nearby grasshopper and had to check it out too.

Blimey wackadoo goodness gracious me this geocache really set my heart and mind ablaze with wonder and amazement!! We tried to find this cache a little while ago to no avail. I was left devastated, heartbroken, stricken with grief. But now, today, We finally found this cache and I am in a state of absolute joy! After a dubious start I was quite anxious. Looking all round without a trace of the cache. But eventually our search came through with the goods!!! Thank you so much for this amazing and delightful cache!

Morning started out quite soggy with a brisk breese braising the basin. Turned sunny and then a bit dummy. Me and the boys were out chasing a fish or two when we decided to find this cache. We trudged through the snowy tundra and found the package after a short scour around. Very good stuff

With a challenge cache in Brisbane at the front of mind I headed south for the long weekend with a few very distinct goals in mind.Having fought my way through the traffic last night I pulled up stumps in Ballina and arose for the short hop to the target area this morning. After finding a safe spot to park the car I made my way quickly to ground zero and quickly located the cache safely tucked away waiting to be found.Log signed and safely returned to its hiding place I returned to the car and made my way to the next adventure. A big thanks to the cache owner for Making this cache available to be found.Cheers

Thanks! We forgot our pen! Will sign tomorrow

Well, don't I feel silly!! Doggo, myself, and LM returned to GZ this afternoon, thinking I had this one in the bag... wrong! It seems that the paper slip that I thought was the log was an IOU note! I wasn't wearing my glasses yesterday hahhaha. I made a swapsies anyway... will return another day for another look.Meanwhile we found this little fella... watching quietly from above.

When I rediscovered geocaching last week (on holidays in Brisbane)... the next obvious thing to do is look at what's local to me back home. Excited to see this new one pop up only a few days ago.We got home last night, and this morning, I took with the intention of logging this new cache... and I found it...BUT no pen with my dog walking bag.Rookie mistake!! Will have to return. With something to swap TFTC and what a great spot to place one.
