Found It!I visited WP1 a few months back and it took a bit of thinking but eventually I decoded it and the final location was revealed. Cool bit of artwork and great spot for a multi-cache! But despite a lot of searching that day, I couldn't find the cache. Today I came back at low tide which made the searching a lot easier and I soon spotted it! Then I took the T1.5 route to retrieve it.TFTC
Out and about again as I live nearby. Creek completely out so able to get a good look. Finally spotted the well placed hide. This would make an excellent hide tide retrieval in a kayak. Sorted out the exact location then made an easy 1.5 retrieval. No point doing aerial gymnastics when it's not required.Nice multi and well thought out wpts utilising existing info. Well done.
Find #: 3,737Companions: NoneMuggles: A few passing byWeather: Cold spring morningCache condition: GoodI visited here a few months ago and worked through all the clues (awesome!) to get GZ's co-ordinates, but was unable to find the container, in particular given the tide was high. Today I was back in the area and decided to have another look, given the tide was low. This allowed me to get a different perspective that highlighted the container - hooray! I still needed a bit of gymnastics as well as assistance from a natural TOTT to get it in hand - TNLNSL, thanks for a good multi
I came back today to finish off wpt2. No problems. Got the final coords but found nothing. Tried both methods. Creek was low so could even get right under but nothing. Maybe it's still there maybe it's not. Lots of graffiti under there.
#6199I'd solved the puzzle a while back. Today, I was out for a bike ride and was passing GZ. I had this idea in my mind as to what the cache was going to be. I must stop doing that as it turned out to be a wrong thought.Initially, I couldn't locate the cache. After around 10min searching, I resorted to contacting Brewmaker as a PAF. He provided some intel to at least narrow down the search location. Using the 1.5T method, I let my fingers do the walking and soon felt something worth investigating. Bingo!!!! My name is on the log.A very enjoyable multi in a great location highlighting some interesting history. Yes, it's worthy of a FP.Thanks for the geo-fun GHHH.
An Amazing Multi, I have had the solved coordinates for quite a while, and I have been past the cache many times knowing about the cache, but never had the time to sign the log, well today was the day, after being the first to meet the host of the IGD event up the river, I walked down here to make the find, and thankfully, this one isn't up a tree
A fun puzzle after the nearby event. Creative puzzle worth a favourite point. Nice location but I unfortunately couldnt do the T3.5 method because it was high tide and the stream was full. TFTC
Absolutely fantastic! Ingenious! Well done for finding this location & using your smart thinking to create such a unique caching experience. It took me a while to do this cache, I was alone and a bit slow to work it all out. But with some patience and careful evitcepsrep I managed to have it done in about 20-30 minutes! Really enjoyed the concept Of course I decided to take the T3.5 route to grab the cache as well! How could I not I had to go back to sign the log though, as there was no way I could hold on & sign at the same time! So two trips were made! Thanks GHHH. Another favourite point from me. With this cache being so close to the Sydney Geoquest I truly hope it gets many dozen more!
#13354 13:35Despite the soaring temperatures, I went out for a few caches. I heard great things about this multi and I was certainly not disappointed. What a great idea. The cache was quickly spotted and somehow managed to retrieve it without a lot of acrobatics.TFTC GHHH, have a FP!
Quite an interesting multi. I did have help as I didnt know where to start with those shapes. Once I knew where to find them it still took time to work it all out.Had the place to myself as it was quite hot, supposedly they like to keep you out of the garden but as the information plaque states differently. Thanks and obviously with my luck of late, I took the 1.5T approach
Solved the puzzle in a group chat back then and found myself nearby today. Probably used the T2.5 access. Good fun. Thanks GHHH.
We had heard that this was a really nice cache, so the full team headed out to check this cache. Got to the posted coordinates and we were a bit confused. The plaque describing the artwork was very enlightening, in particular one sentence. A comment in by previous finders gave us a lead and after finding the required objects, it was a matter of perspective. GZ coordinates were soon derived, and we made our way to retrieve the log. We took the T1.5 option, but it was not that easy either. Absolutely loved this cache, and the way the CO put it together. Most definitely an improvement from his pinetree climbs. Unanimous team decision to award a FP. This cache ticks all the boxes for us. Thanks Googlehihihi. We would have given you double points for this cache if we could.
I agree with the previous finders. This is a good multi. The use of perspective at the WP1 artwork is very clever, and to incorporate it into a field puzzle/multi provides an interesting twist on other multis. Having collected the coords for GZ, I then navigated a T3.5 approach to see the cache, but opted for the T1.5 method to grab and replace. A bit of a stretch sill, but I got there. Good work. TFTC
#7487 joint FTF with b@wThis was a puzzling multi that exercised the grey matter. After some pattern matching and the right evitcepsrep, we headed to GZ. Tricky hide from either option but b@w spotted it and added our names to the log. Not often that I consider a multi for a FP, but this one is clever enough to deserve it.TFTC GHHH
OCW EverestHigh. Clever use of a fascinating feature in the park to create a field puzzle. I enjoyed solving the puzzle before retrieving the cache at GZ, taking the 3.5T route. Worth an FP. TFTC Googlehihihi!
Saw this published yesterday but stored it up for today. Set sail this morning with Crash2079 for joint **FTF**TFTC
Best creative field puzzle I've done in ages, depending on your point of view. After solving at WP1, we walked to GZ along the riverbank, watching the Rivercat pass by. MaxAdventurer took the T3.5 option to get CIH, and I took the T1.5 option to SL. Teamwork for joint 2TF. Well worth an FP! TFTC GHHH
