Today is day two of WAGB 2024 and we are looking forward to a big day. Given our apartment is near the Bakery we started the day with a yummy breakfast from the Bakery and picked up a nearby cache before heading to the Community Hall for the first event. After collecting another near by cache we set off with Pommie Parkin 2 to team up and geocache together out at the Letter box series down Scott River Road . These Letter Box series were a very nice variety of interesting hides , most were straight forward however there were a few that you needed waders to get to them , in Liu of no waders it was just a case of jumping in and getting wet our feet wet. However this all added to the fun of the morning . So did having to quickly get out of the way for a tractor carrying rather large hay bails . Once all the Letter boxes were found we calculated the bonus and soon headed in that direction. Definitely giving a favourite for the series . We bid the Pommie Parkins farewell and we set off back into Augusta on our own and collected a few more traditionals along the way before hitting the Skippy Rock Road series and then clearing up the remaining ones from the Last Trail to Antartica series and other traditionals around Augusta before making our way to the CITO. All in all a fabulous days geocaching.
Day 2 of our trip to Augusta for the WAGB 2024. Hoping to pick up most of the caches around town. Thanks to all for placing and maintaining these caches. All is well here! Tftc!

An early start in Augusta with an event at sparrows! We ventured for something warm after a chilly event we cleaned up a few remaining caches around town and on the outskirts before the boys headed off towards Albany where we made some detours to find some FTFs on the Bibbulmun track which we had researched prior to the day for what was easy enough to get to from the road. A great day out and thanks for the fun. Co ords are about 6m out here.
What a midweek getaway to Augusta. Multiple finds, some new ones placed, a boat trip and a storm or two. Followed by multiple stories to last, early mornings for no real reason and only a few DNFs spread across the South West. Thanks to the local COs for their efforts in hiding and maintaining what we found.
After a VERY early morning event I set off for day 3 of my Augusta trip. Grabbing caches along the way. Many thanks ringtailposs for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures. Apologies for the generic logs.

Found at 1:46 PM GAFF3.Just about gave up on this one - actually did and started to ride away, when I thought - nah it has to be there. So I went back and from a different approach angle I spotted the just about in plain sight cache straight away! Gosh made a meal out of that search and way over thinked it [B)] At least there were some lovely aromas wafting from the bakery while the search was on Thanks to ringtailposs
