Logs
Found it. TFTC pood. Teamed up with Ullyssia and papillion367 for the WAGB weekend. Happy to make a find here. log was signed as "PUPPO" (papillion367, ullyssia, Photo-Play and olthomas) replaced as found.
Day #10. My last minute WAGB adventure continues today and its the big one! My first WAGB! After a big Saturday, we are backing it up with another big day in Augusta, caching around with everyones favourite posum.I had received a call from what sounded like a used car salesman yesterday offering a chance of a lifetime. It was Barnzy12 and it was indeed a good offer.A couple of spots had arisen for a trip on the boat along this river with Cravo10 as our skipper. I asked the lads if they were in? It was milliseconds before I had the response, particularly as both posums and BerbieH were chasing some 5/5 caches. The weather was a little misty, and heavier at times, but we rugged up and braved the water as this was too good to refuse. We set the boat to top speed, which wasnt very fast with the 4 of us on board, but we set about grabbing what we could in the time window we had available. We even had a fishing pole on board!A massive thanks to Barnzy12 for throwing us the line, and especially to cravo10 for the very generous offer and skippering us for a few hours.A big thanks also goes to pood for taking the time to add BR08 Blackwood River by Hook or by Crook # 8 to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! The fun just never stops.Have you logged your will attend for Victoria's first ever Block Party? (Think Mega but even more special!)Join us on 22-23 March 2025 in Sunbury to celebrate 25 years of geocaching by logging your will attend at [**GCAP417**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).
I came over to WA last year for WAGB 23 and had such a great time so I decided to come back over again for this years events in Augusta. So after all of the planning with dates worked out my work decided that I could only have one week off so flying over was my only option. So I flew into to Perth and my first stop will be Busselton for 2 nights. It has been 47 years since I was in this part of WA and Im really looking forward to the re visit.Day 9 of the trip. After making my way down the coast caching around Busselton, Dunsbourgh and Cape Naturaliste and then Albany for 3 days I finally made it to Augusta for WAGB 24 for a fun filled few days.I teamed up with Roaming Howie again and we decided to head down south to Cape Leeuwin and to tackle the ones down there and to also see the Lighthouse and where the 2 oceans meet. Then it was time for a date with a boat that was graciously offered to us by cravo10 who would also be our skipper for a couple of hours so we could grab a few great D/T caches. We were also armed with a trusty fishing pole.Rugged up against the rain but it was a great couple of hours and thanks again for taking us along for the ride. Thanks pood TFTC.
Thank you for the cache and the fun series pood!Today I teamed up with ullyssia and olthomas and skippered our hire boat up and down the Blackwood River to tackle this series, with land support from Photo-Play. We spent the entire day on the river, starting at 8am at Alexandra Bridge and heading up-river all the way to the far end of the series, before turning around and finishing back at Ellis Street Jetty. It was an over-optimistic plan, and we had to skip a lot of the Southern caches to make it back by 5pm!A fun trip on this beautiful river and great teamwork, however there were a few that we couldn't spot within our time constraints - hopefully next trip... Signed the logs as PUPPO or some variant of it!
Thank you! Day 4 of the 2024 WAGB road trip. Today papillon367 skilfully piloted the olthomas duo and myself up and down the Blackwood River to tackle this series, with land support from Photo-Play. We spent the entire day on the river, other than a brief boat changeover due to a fuel issue, and attempted as many caches as we could manage before we had to return the hire boat. The series was a fun challenge and definitely something enjoyable and different to do.Happy to make the find here. Log signed as PUPPO or similar.
Find 1 of 31 on a nautical kind of day, starting at 8am, boating north from Alexandra Bridge to the top of the series, back to Alexandra Bridge to swap boats then heading south and landing at Ellis Street Jetty bang on 5pm, covering just under 60km. We were assisted by Photo Play who drove us to the start line, Papillon367 who was our expert skipper and Ullyssia our navigator. We signed logs as either PUPPO or POUPP depending on the maturity of the signer. Yes, it rained a bit, yes we got cold , yes one of us was underdressed, yes the engine might have conked out a couple of times for want of fuel - but what a day, what an awesome series, what a fantastic setting. Thanks to pood for all the work that went into putting the series together - another win for geocaching.
Day 6 of my WAGB24 getaway. An early start with an event , a couple of multi caches and then a boat ride . So another adventure packed day and hopefully a few more smilies to add to the collection. Some logs signed as N20 This is my 14155 find Thankyou pood for placing and maintaining this cache for others to find .

This afternoon I went on a boat tour with RoamingHowie, Posums and Cravo10 chasing some geocaches, we departed from Alexandra Bridge in a tinny. Thanks so much Cravo10 for giving us the opportunity to to grab some of these geocaches and to view this beautiful river, just a pity about the drizzle but there's not much can be done about that.**Thanks for placing this cache and the series pood**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.

So close to the boat ramp now, which is exciting. It has been a long day on the water but very rewarding and a lot of fun. We spotted this one as we were paddling towards it and it was an easy retrieval which was welcome at the end of this day. Thanks poodDomsky
