Moved heaps of debris and litter, searched all around and came up with a DNF. Maybe next time.
We were going past here today so I stopped for this one. Great little spot - Im sure the tourists wondered what I was doing - and an interesting cache container! TFTC

Checked on cache. The cache had come free from its companion, some corrective surgery was completed and the cache is now all good and ready to go again. New log sheet added also.
Took quite a while to find as it wasn't in the hint location. Try behind rather than in front. Would have replaced it as per hint but in some ways it's a better place... Less grovelling in grot. TFTC
Nice quick find in a juggle area gets a favorite point from us. Tftc now to Rotorua for the night
Should have been straight forward but made it harder for ourselves. Read the hint & all is good.
After reading the hint properly it didn't take long to find. Interesting attachment, maybe something to do with the location.
Probably not the best cache to be found rummaging around in the garden with haha, but a great laugh. TFTC

What to do on a Sunday. Come caching. A plan was hatched with nz flossy to come and clear some if the new caches as we havent been over here for a while. Many thanks to the COs for the placements.

Out & about while staying in the area, great to see the tourist spots busy again TFTC.

#13,994. I was staying overnight in Rotorua and driving back to Wellington today. Picking up a few local caches before I head south. This was one of them. I actually came to Hells Gate to pick up the final of a mystery cache I solved last year. https://coord.info/GCA37VW But alas its been archived. Frustrating when that happens. Anyway this one was the consolation prize at a very similar spot. Nice quick find here today and an intriguing cache container. Thanks Geckoh for hiding it here. I have visited this reserve a few times in the past. Its well worth the look.
Lovely quick cache during my visit to Hell's Gate. Found as described, but it was too rainy to open and log.TFTC!

I suspect a previous cacher may have failed to reach the assembly point. Or maybe they did but too late. Found with Reschedule
Unfortunately, took a while to download details. I kept looking but felt very exposed. Once the hint was downloaded, a quick find of the grisly cache ensured. TFTC & FP.
Now that could be scary on a dark night nice tidy cache ..well done and thanks team Geckho...We were on our way to Hamilton. So a quick detour was made..very pleased to find a blank log sheet {FtF} and a nice first to find
We were headed out the door when all these new caches were published. Well, a detour was required immediately as we were heading over the Kaimais. As we neared R2D2, we saw it had been found, so we decided the Tunnicliffe ones were a better bet. We weren't disappointed! On our way back, we stopped here and were surprised to get a clean log and {FTF}. Sorry, but he's dead and boiled clean. We buried him again and said a prayer. He has made it to the gate, but will he pass through?? Thanks for the placement, geckoh.
