Logs
Heading back to Dunedin, after seeing MrMagoo72 off at the airport here, I decided to stop to look for this one, not too far off the main highway. Pulled in and parked in the convenient carpark - some muggles and minimuggles were playing around in the pinecones, so had to wait for them to move on. Then began my search. I had a fair idea of what I should be looking for, but my initial search area yielded no results. Then I found a way to the other side and after a few minutes found what I was looking for - but took a while longer to work out how to access the logsheet - I was worried that if I tried to hard I might break the wonderful container. Finally accessed the logsheet, signed and returned as found. A fav vote from me. TFTC.
This took us quite a long while as were hunting in the wrong ........... but finally one of the party saw what we were looking for and we managed to retrieve the log and sign the log before returning the log to its hiding place. This is a nicely constructed cache and intend to get my son to construct one for me to use here in the North island. it is in a fitting place here . i took nothing and left nothing . all was well here with e cache . thank you for this cache .
After a very chilly start to the day the sun has come out. wasnt sure I was at the right point but walked & searched a bit further & there it was. Way cool cache container. Fav point from me.
Took me awhile to spot what I knew I was looking for. Once you can see these hidden right in front of you camo caches - you wonder what took so long. Great little cache. Nice car park. Thanks QuickCubing for the hide. FP from me.Add an image
We've made a new container and it's back up and running exept with a new log book.Thank you!
Sorry everyone but someone has recently taken the container to the cache but it'll be back in just a few days.
After waiting for a nearby muggle to move, I zoomed in on GZ and quickly found this cache. TFTC! Log is unfortunately too deep in to grab, so I took a photo incase CO wants it. Great container!
Found after searching for 10 mins, with our grandson Aston... his first intro to geocaching..love this cache
Needed a South Island cache today for a challenge cache in CHCH. Quickish find and enjoyed the container
Sorry to some of the previous geocachers, someone seems to have jammed the paper into its container without rolling up it first. So we've taken out one of the pieces of paper and will put the other one back once we get a bigger container.
On a biking trip to Macetown and getting some caches on the way. A popular parking area. The log was a bit tight in the container. Thanks
It took us a while to find this nicely crafted cache, worthy of a favourite, although we found it difficult to open - perhaps the last finder is stronger than they think. Our idea of Pinecone Paradise is when they are the type suitable for our woodburner. TFTC
Needle in haystack time today. So many potential hides. Finally settled on a likely location & voila, there it was. TFTC
Woo hoo I found it TFTC. Lovely shady Spot with car parking available on the lake Hayes walkway. A fun find. Thank you.
Yay, ftf. A first for my caching on this user. Cool cache container, great spot, didnt know there was parking here. Cheers for the cache!
