Logs
GZ led us to a suspecting hiding spot but widened our search and found it 8m away from the GZ. TFTC!
We may have come in the wrong way as it was a bit steep for 2 old farts but we made it in & out in one piece, if a little out of breath. TFTC BrodieH457
Out and about again, I had a spare arvo so what else could do? Weather was fine. Headed out for some caches - a better afternoon than the previous night. This is 15773.Thanks to Player457123 for the caches I have found.
Out for some Hills and Foothills caching. Kalamunda to Forrestfield and back home at a good hour. Thanks for the cache.
My device lead me up into the bush. When I couldnt find a cache, I read past logs which helped narrow down GZ. Thanks for the hide.
Searched the most obvious host then resorted to reading the previous logs which helped. Coordinates was 15m off for me. TFTC
After a whole day of taking care of Dusty, the baby galah, I was glad to make an easy find here. Thanks, Brodie! This is my 1022th find!Due to my Ohhellomania (it's a weird medical condition that makes me obsessed with the band The Oh Hellos), I must attach the lyrics of "Like the Dawn"...I was sleeping in the gardenWhen I saw you firstHe'd put me deep,Deep under so that he could workAnd like the dawnYou broke the dark and my whole earth shookI was sleeping in the gardenWhen I saw youAt last, at lastBones of my bones and flesh of my flesh, at lastYou were the brightest shadeOf sun I had ever seenYour skin was gilded withThe gold of the richest kingsAnd like the dawnYou woke the world inside of meYou were the brightest shadeOf sun when I saw youAnd you will surely be the death of meBut how could I have known?### WORD OF THE MONTH ###halcyon | halsn |## adjective ##denoting a period of time in the past that was idyllically happy and peaceful: the halcyon days of the mid 1980s, when profits were soaring.## noun ##1 a mythical bird said by ancient writers to breed in a nest floating at sea at the winter solstice, charming the wind and waves into calm.2 a tropical Asian and African kingfisher with brightly coloured plumage.Genus Halcyon, family Alcedinidae: many species.# ORIGIN #late Middle English (in the mythological sense): via Latin from Greek alkun kingfisher (also halkun, by association with hals sea and kun conceiving).
I had just arrived in town and seen there had been plenty of publishing so checked a few logs and saw this was unfound and headed to the hills. Found the trail in ok and got to GZ. The search was a bit long as the GPSr had me a little further up the hill at a likely feature but I widened and got closer to the track to make the find. On opening up the log it was blank so signed as **FTF**Well done on your first hide.TFTC
