Down in Augusta for a great midweek getaway. Caching with like minded people and enjoying the local pub after some hard days Geocaching. The weather was less than ideal with Augusta living up to the 4 seasons in one day motto. That being said it was great fun and I would do it all over again. Just maybe in a little bigger boat! Anyway I will be back for WAGB and collect whatever I have missed then! Thanks to the local and some not so local COs for the caches places down here to keep me coming back.
A Big couple of days down in Augusta cleaning up all of the stuff published over the last year or so in preparation for the WAGB event. We got out on the boat cleaning up the Blackwood river caches and a number of small series of caches aswell as hosting a couple of events in town. Thanks to the local COs for a great mid-week explore. We had a blast.

The geocaching plan for today for Taurus Six and I was up for discussion and debate during the week. Which direction would we go in on Saturday . We weighed up a few options and kind of agreed on a plan of action until on Friday we noted many more Pood new caches had come out in the Augusta area. We further noted they were still not found on Friday evening so we decided to set off this way early Saturday morning to try our luck. It was a beautiful drive down from Bunbury , the sun coming up and the dew steam rising from the paddocks. There were also lots of Kangaroos around which was a bonus . With the traffic light on the road we made it down to the back roads of Augusta in no time at all . Firstly we tackled the new trail at Walls Road - Back Tracks To Number 17 , this was an excellent dirt track and no muggles anywhere to be seen . The only noises of the morning were from farm animals and birds, what a lovely area . Then it was onto the Coastal Track series , down Scotts River road and onto the Milyeannup Coast Road , what a magnificent area this is , once again the bird life was prolific and a very peaceful morning , muggle free. We then headed in Augusta for one more first to find, we also converted a couple of previous dnfs and collected the Adventure Lab and a few other random caches before heading back to Bunbury via Margaret River and Cowramarup . All in all it was a wonderful day of geocaching . Thanks for the cache Ringtailposs .
Coordinates changed from:S 34 14.144 E 115 6.351Coordinates changed to:S 34 14.144 E 115 6.352Distance from original: 5.0 feet or 1.5 meters. No sign of electric fence we played with the fence for a while but just in case we have remove the bison tube from the fence and move it slightly ,just to be safe.
PP1 got a nasty shock when he touched the bison on the ELECTRIC fence. We have not signed the log but are claiming the find with ebenie..photo available
Temporaraly disabling until we can sort out as when we put it out it wasnt on a electric fence so either the fence has been upgraded or it has been moved so we will move ut to so.ewgere safer.
